I’ve used that survey code by the elevators a few times, for both positive and constructive comments. Most times, I have received a phone call from a supervisor within a couple of hours re my feedback, so I know those comments are seen and read.

Just called to make room requests for the 2BR for the Thanksgiving trip. So excited to be going during our favorite time of year

Sometimes I wonder if I need to try and get a room on the pool side. We always go for the park view.

Anyone else going to be there for the Thanksgiving week? If you smell good food cooking happy to share. I'm also hopeful that our lady with the good tamales in the back of her SUV at the Walmart on Ball is there to keep us well stocked.

Not sure if this has been posted before but did you guys see the Tik Tok that kinda went viral for Grand Cal that showed mushrooms growing in one of the rooms and mold growing on the wall? Do you guys think there's any truth to this..? Or is it someone just trying to generate likes, it is a video so maybe less likely to be AI? But hrm

Yeahhh definitely not a good look for Grand Cal and I love that hotel. Never actually stayed there but loved everything else like Napa, lobby, fireplaces, location etc. so this is really disappointing to see in the rooms.

We had a hotel-side stay August of 2024 for almost a week. Our room was impeccable. So I don't think this video is representative. But clearly the room in the video needs a lot of help and it's bad form that a guest was ever allowed to step foot in there.

If true, I’d have to wonder about prior guests and why no one has reported it before now. It would take longer to get to that point than just from that one person’s stay,

Yeahh hence my skepticism with AI or if the guest did that themselves. The bottom of that wallpaper and tiling does seem to be in rough shape though
