A day of resting by filling out forms all morning. Now I have to head to work to finish some of the stuff from yesterday.

Dinner tonight will be cheeseburgers and a variation of a pasta salad I saw on Paula Dean today.

I found a recipe for "sand pudding" that is made with cookies. It looks so cool...just like beach sand and the decorations are the shells from Guerlain chocolates. Let me know if you wast to check it out.

Today was a great morning - we have a new pastor! No surprises, no huge scene, and no press that I could spot. Nice to have a calm and rational church vote for a change.

Tonight is for dinner. i really want Chinese but we'll see when Marisa and Kady get here.

Today was a great morning - we have a new pastor! No surprises, no huge scene, and no press that I could spot. Nice to have a calm and rational church vote for a change.

Okay so I have a cool new way to check the weather in my apartment. If I walk into the bathroom, and the wind is blowing in through the hole in the door jam, then it's windy outside and likely is going to storm.

The living room door does the same snazzy thing....

The pasta salad was good, I just ended up throwing it together without the recipe. I made fusilli, the Picollini one from Barilla, then added in grilled aparagus, mushrooms and zucchini. Then I put in some olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, dill and parsley.

Dinner was really good but my hernia is agravated today.

Hey all! We're sitting in traffic around dtd right now so I thought I would post quick. I did want to ask about the oct. meet. Am I right in seeing oct 17-18 the big weekend ? Because I talked to dh about it tonight and he didn't say no! He just said that I would have to figure out how to finance it. So maybe....yay! I probably wouldn't do any sit downs b/c I'll be with another girlfriend. But I'm all for crusin' f&w booths!

Hey All,

I have not grasped what I read...I hope all is well with everyone. I drove Mom back to Jane's this evening. It was nice having Mom here but it was a bit stressful. It was hard to be patient at times but I did my best. She seemed happy to be here and liked seeing Andrew's games.

Andrew's team won their first playoff game today... That makes 3 wins for the season!!!

I will try to catch up tomorrow...I am exhausted and going to bed. Glad to see Stephanie and Nan may be coming in Oct.

Tonight I made the crockpot roaster chicken, baked potatoes and green beans.

Hey y'all

It's too late to read back, other than what comes up on this page and in the topic review when I post. We've had a very, very nice weekend. Out to dinner on Friday & my niece's shower yesterday. The shower was really nice, DD ordered the cake which was so pretty & tasted good too. The food was good & they served Mimosa's, so a good time was had by all!

Today we had church and what looks like it might be a new family tradition of 12:00 children's mass & lunch out after with DD, SonIL & Alexis, SisIL & BIL. This really makes me super happy! ( I started to offer to cook, but I'm afraid THAT would become the "new tradition"! )

Aimee, I'm so happy for you! You have needed some peace over there for quite a long time! I will pray that the new Pastor will bring that for you!

Vickie, I'm glad you are recuperating! BUT... I have to admit, I'm having a southern girl to Scottish lass language barrier. I have no idea what this means!

Stephanie, I'm so excited! This trip is going to be AWESOME!!!! It would be so great if you & your family could be there too!!!

DH & I booked our airfare today!

We also tried to find DVC rooms for now, well anytime in June for a quick trip. Couldn't find anything for more than 2 consecutive nights. DH really wanted to go now, because I've been feeling good & we still have a few points to use this year. Plus annual passes that have only been used once. But I wasn't really all that thrilled with going in the summer heat & taking Alexis without any parental help!

I love your tradition! We try to go to 8 Am Mass and then have breakfast with Kady. It is my favorite time of the week.

Dinner is probably going to be trout or hamburgers. I think Buddy was craving them yesterday.... he kept asking for them. I kept saying that I was not cooking. He said he would cook. Then he invited the neighbors for dinner. I said I am NOT cooking. he said he would. he cannot even fire up the microwave so I know who would be in charge of the extras.....and he has not used the grill in 5 years so

Marisa picked up Chinese food and it was good!

If I am not peeved with Buddy he will get a good dinner. If I am still mad he is getting salad with chicken on it.

Good morning fine lassies! we are packing up to head home later this afternoon. Always sad for me to see other families starting their vacations when ours is coming to an end. This was our first trip in many years to not stay on property and I have to admit I felt like I was missing something. Next time! Well, I should get off here. My AP is doing a formal observation on Wednesday. Last week she told me and suggested I teach about hurricanes. Uh, no thank you. Morning everyone. Dad had a rough weekend so I missed a lot and am now at work and honestly, just too tired to catch up today. Hope everyone is well.

Kenny grilled steaks Saturday and boiled some new potatoes to go with. Yesterday, I took a pasta pie and sauce out of the freezer so I would have something for the kids last night. Tonight is leftovers with garlic bread and salad.
