Ellen – Yes, we watched the game Saturday, it was funny with Cruso and the tiger head!!!! Good luck to Elizabeth on the test, I had gestational diabetes, it wasn’t so bad back then and it’s probably much easier to manage now. That’s a sweet hubby you have there.
Marilyn – Thanks for the idea of a NOLA DIS meet at Melting Pot!!!
Aimee – Keeping you in my prayers.
Becky – Yep, John one-upped you good!
Game day this Saturday is going to be in Wisconsin. We are playing them!!

This is our first year in the Big 10, and this will be out first Big 10 game. We are predicted to lose - which will be hard because we don't lose very often. But this year will be a real learning curve for us. Who knows - as I always say on any given day any team has a chance. I know for sure Cruso will NOT be wearing a Husker head on Saturday - he HATES us. Never ever a nice thing to say about us......oh well.
I am all in for a NOLA meet.... say the time and we will be there.
WFD? I'm going out to an Oktoberfest at
Disneyland and staying over night in the Villas at the Grand Californian!!!
SO NOT FAIR....... but have a really good time. I am so jealous!!
dgbg ~ Welcome.....I am Ellen, married to Doug and have 3 grown children. Our 2 daughters are both expecting - Elizabeth & Jay in December and Marty and Stephanie in March. We have one Grandson (Elizabeth & Jay) Ethan who is 7. Our son Matthew (our baby) is a Senior at the UN of Nebraska. I work for our Church and we live on a farm in Nebraska. Glad to have your part of our family.
Lindsay ~ spill it..........what is Kinky spaghetti?
Lori ~ I am on a roll with my crockpot and I loved your dessert. Doug loves bread pudding so that is being made this weekend. Thanks.
Have a great time on vacation. I so wish I was joining you all for F&WF
Merle ~ I think your idea of a NOLA meet is PERFECT!!!!
Aimee ~ What did the Dr. say? I so hope you are listening to them.
Becky ~ I loved your sandwich and for only $5. Wow. I bet John spent more on his......it looked good too but yours was better.
Jen ~ Is Tooter home yet? Yes, she is going to be so pissed at you but she will get over it and then be such a lover.
PIO ~ nice pictures!!
Glynis ~ Hope your day is a great one.
Marisa ~ HI! It is so good to see you. Thanks so much for the update on Buddy and Nan. They so deserve this time away. I know they will have fun and that Camaro would be a dream for Doug. He wants one so bad.....I told him to go trade in his new pickup and he can have one. He thought that would look a little funny pulling the horse trailer.

So I don't think we will be getting one anytime soon. But he REALLY wants one.
Well Elizabeth's test yesterday showed she was a bit elevated. So now (of course she does) has to go in for a more indepth 3 hour fasting test. I swear this girl has had it - I will be so happy when this baby comes and this is over for her. She has NOT had a good pregnancy. I so worry about both of them. But on the other hand Stephanie is feeling great and sailing along. Her next appt. is October 7.
I have had the last 3 days from He**. I so hope the rest of the week calms down and I can get some work finished. I am so glad I don't have weeks like this very often. I am just way too old for it anymore.
WFDT ~ Ham and scalloped potatoes, harvard beets and a pear jello salad.
Make it a great day everyone.
