It's been so wet this past week, I've noticed webs growing between my toes!

www.weather.com is the weather channel's website. I just checked it.it says thunder storms pretty much every day.great we're leaving for disney in about an hour. hope we aren't going just to stay in a hotel room.

Give's you guys a break soon on our recent trip not much rain but boy it was hot. :goodvibes :wizard: :earsboy:

1) We just got back from a week in Orlando.
2) It rained EVERY day, and MOST of every day.
3) Long, soaking, and sometimes heavy rain.
4) Sure glad we were not there for the parks.
5) Felt sorry for those who spent the big bucks and got liquid sunshine.
6) However, with a poncho, the parks were still good. *

* We met many people with Disney souvenirs while waiting at the airport. These included USA and foreign (mainly UK) visitors. To a person, they said they had a good time. Sure, it was damp (the understatement), but it was a great time with the Mouse. I have always said that WDW is what YOU make it. Disney gives you all the goodies, but it up to you to appreciate and enjoy them.

I might prefer some park time while it is raining - assuming the crowds stay thin due to the rain!

Our first trip to the World and it rained almost every day the first half of our trip - almost all day long !! We made the most of it , got our ponchos and Mickey umbrellas out and still had a wonderful time !!! :umbrella:

I live 2 hrs north of the parks and we have had a straight week of t-storms and rain and it doesn't look like it is letting up anytime soon. ALthough not lasting all day the rain is scattered throughout the day with no sun b/c of all the clouds.

Daily rain is pretty much typical weather for Florida this time of year, and extending through the summer into September. I think we are just starting to get into our "summer pattern" rain. It does cool things off a bit!

It has been the same here in GA....weeklong rain and it looks like we are in for another week. We leave in 3 weeks for our Disney trip, so hopefully it dries out just a tad before then. I am all for doing the parks in the rain with a poncho, but I only have so many pairs of socks to take :rotfl:

Joining in on the Sun God Dance

I can report that I truly believe that the crowds did not thin at all due to the Rain!

I also have to admit that I probably will not visit WDW in June again! :sad2:

Well, to hope you all out, I'll wish it (the rain) to head up north to Il...my lawn looks like straw! Seriously, I hope the rains depart the Orlando area enough to let the vacationers have some :sunny: !

we went to disney 6/4-6/10. every day they said it was going to pour, the only day it rained alot was the 9th,but it was off and on.take the forecasts with a grain of salt.it was raining alot harder when we got home then it did in disney.we've had no rain here now for a week.also it rained alot more when we went in july last year then it did this year in june.
