thanks for the info

Wolaver's organic beers are made by Otter Creek and are pretty good (especially the oatmeal stoudt)...a welcome addition considering the dreadful Disney beer choices.

Yes, forgot to mention this. As expected, this restaurant will require 1 Table Service credit for those on the DDP. Enjoy! :thumbsup2

OH NO! We just starting booking for it today, guess that CM didn't read her notes! :sad2: If it happens to you again tell the CM it is new for booking begining today 4/14 for bookings anytime after June 30th. Tell her/him that it can be found on the dine screen just below Teppan Edo. That will freak them out!

DisneyDine-I just called back. (7:15MST) I got the same routine, no, not taking reservations....But then I nicely gave them the information from above. Silence...Then Oh, we are taking reservations for The Wave. The CM took care of the booking, and I have a confirmation number. Success! Thanks!

You are one handy person to have around the boards...hope I get you when I call for my ADRs in a few weeks....

We were able to book The Wave with no trouble. I didn't even have to use the "it's under Teppan Edo on the dining screen" instructions given by a previous poster! Thanks to everybody here for the heads up! I'm wondering, though, if the menu is likely to expand. Does it seem limited to anybody but me? We booked the lunch for our arrival day. Seemed like a nice way to kick off the trip!

HA HA! Love it! Glad you got what you wanted :cool1:

I really hope the menu does expand. I was all excited when I read the description, but this menu is pretty *yawn*. :sad2: Multigrain Mickey waffles sound good, and so do the smoothies, but everything else sounds kinda run-of-the-mill. I hope that's just a "sample" menu and that they add some more items.

Yes--the listed menu is pretty much of a "yawn". Can't get too excited about flank steak. But again, this isn't a Signature restaurant.

The menu doesn't interest me, and to be honest, I'm glad I won't have to try to squeeze it in our schedule.

This info was where I first heard that the Wave was taking reservations:

"Don't take this premilinary menu at face value. This definitely is not completed, for example, they have yet to release the children's menu for dinner."

THis is the sort of place I expect at the Contemporary...it looks changing on the trends. Now I don't know if I should bump Boma (not big on buffet but still curious) for this.....:confused3

What does make your own omelette mean? Why would I want to make it myself? Do I have to go into the kitchen? :confused3 Make your own sounds different from made to order.
