Thought it was ridiculous to throw in some young curvy young woman with short shorts and shirt knotted above the belly button during a zombie apocalypse and must say, I LOVED (ok this is sarcasm again ) how she sauntered off after Glen with her hips swaying looking oh so stylish and in no real panic after a bunch of walkers just came out of the corn

yea i got the sarcasm part.

still hubby was loling and I was like no they didn't jerks, im calling total bs on that character.

Daryl isn't in the comic series.

And in the comics Andrea is still alive. So you can't go by the comics and judge who is safe - they do different things in the TV series.

No he said Daryl wasn't in the books when I had sent him a text jumping to conclusions and panicking because Norman was going to be on "Talking Dead" and that must mean they are killing him!!

He was like "geez mom .....this is how it is in the books versus the show"

Then he told me how some of the others died in the book but are alive on the show and vice versa....that's the thing I think I love is that it is so unpredictable we have no idea what they are going to do next....just keeping fingers crossed nothing happens to Daryl...there would be such a backlash if they did

As for Daryl, I'm not sure they'd kill him off this soon. And he isn't in the comics at all, so that doesn't really matter. The guy who plays Daryl, Norman Reedus, actually auditioned for the part of Merle. He didn't get that part (obviously) but they loved him so much that they actually created the Daryl character for him and wrote him into the story line.

Yeah, Rosita is right from the comics. They talked on the TD about the scene where they are first introduced and how they recreated a comic book cover pose with Rosita, Abraham, and they dr. guy.

I guess they worked hard to make it an exact replication of the cover, so Rosita must have been dressed like that on the cover of the comic.

If you ask me, they did a great job matching the actors to the comic book characters.

They would be crazy to kill off Daryl for 2 reasons.

1- viewer numbers would drop

2- they make a lot of money on Daryl merchandise, probably more than any other character.

To me, it would not be wise to kill Daryl when there are too many other less profitable characters to choose from.

The thing that worries me most is that the person we lose this season is supposed to be a "shocker". For me that would be Daryl or Rick. I am not ready to lose either of them!

I don't know that either one would make to to the absolute end of the series, but I do feel, even though "nobody is safe", that it is too early to kill off either one of them off.

Honestly, I think any of the olderl characters would be a shocker. I'd be shocked to see Glenn, Maggie, Carol, Carl, Michonne or Beth killed off too. Tyreese, Sasha, Tara, Bob and the kids are newer so that wouldn't be so shocking.

I don't know why, and I hope I am wrong, but I have a feeling(based on absolutely nothing ), that it will be Glenn or Maggie. I do not want to lose any of the origional group. New group I am fine with it being one of them.

I don't want to lose Rick. I think he gave a great performance last week. Now Carl, he can be zombie bait anytime!

Carl would be my first choice to go. His character is annoying. If Daryl died then I would stop watching as he is the most interesting one on the show. They need to explain him a bit more.

Yes! On THE TALKING DEAD, they said they were going for "right out of the comic" when they styled/designed the new characters.

I have thought it might be one of them as well but Glenn's death in the comics was very dramatic and went with a storyline that has not yet been told so I am not sure if it will be one of them yet. I think it may be Beth.

As far as the death coming being a shock, they could just mean how it is done. Axle's and T-Dog's death was a huge shock to me. I never expected either death and they were not main characters. At least Axle wasn't. T-Dog might have been considered one.
