The walking dead amc #2

Not necessarily a blooper. Perhaps it has photos or messages stored on it from "before" that he wants to save. On the show "Revolution" where the world had regressed to pre-Industrial times (no power/electric or motorized stuff), one character had kept her cell phone for 10 years because there were pics of her kids on it that she would allow herself a few seconds of precious battery power each day to look at.

I loved that show -- and they left us with such a cliffhanger!

Don't know where the show is going. Who's the new group? I have my theory but it can't be. Hmmm?????

Did F. Gabriel go to that group??? That woman looks familiar too. Have we seen her before or have I seen her somewhere else?

On TTD they said a picture of Lucille was drawn in the ledger just like on the Saviors guns. Does that mean that group is one of Neegans outposts?

I wonder how Carol will find out about Glenn and Abraham and if that will be what gets her off the couch.

Father G was not alone. As he was pulling away from the car, you can see a person sit up in the front seat next to him. I think he did go to the Swamp (??) group and the person who was spying on Alexandria and the end of episode 8 is who he's with.

I think it's Daryl that gets Carol off the couch. Those two have always had a bond.

Glad the show is back. I've missed it! :)

Gabriel left the inventory book in the middle of the floor
One page he wrote the word - boat

Rick and Aaron know where to go to find him

This scene was around the 65 minute point

Around est 11:05
Show was longer tonight

Just watched the encore of it
One of the best episodes for me tonight
All but Eugene was shown tonight

I liked it too. I don't think this group is a Negan outpost. Rick smiled at the end, I think he sees a potential army to join him against Negan.

Did the guy force Gabriel to go with him? It was just so odd. He left his book in hopes that Rick would find it I guess.

I think Robert will take Daryl to Carol and he'll be able to get her on board.

Not sure about the new group, but Rick definitely sees it as a good thing.

I am wondering if Enid is part of the women's group, Oceanside, that Tara found. I have always thought she was a part of another group, but thought it was the Saviors. Now I am thinking otherwise. Maybe she will then convince them to help fight.

That "walking dead" that we discussed previously -- the one who looked too alive and undead -- they revealed in a TV Guide episode that she will be one of the people from one of the groups that Rick meets. So that answers that question LOL

I agree - I also took Rick's smile to mean he was glad to see them, because he knew they were not part of Negan's group and could potentially band together to defeat Negan. Since The Kingdom didn't work out, he seemed relieved or happy that this was a new opportunity. The previews for next week seem to buttress this as well.

I do wonder how Gabriel ties in. We saw before the mid-season finale that someone was spying on Alexandria, and I believe we also saw someone spying on Rick and Aaron in the boat episode too didn't we? Possibly the same person, or same group. I think it would be odd if Gabriel somehow met or hooked up with this group, since we haven't seen Gabriel venture off prior to this really.

OOH I missed that! Glad I'm watching it again tonight with my husband!!! I'll keep my eyes peeled.

I thought that was the inventory book from the pantry.

I must have missed that....where was there an alive/undead person?

I thought when Rick smiled it was more of a he recognized someone smile. Trying to think of who they have met on their adventures who may be showing up....

Pretty sure I read somewhere that the one spying on Rick & Aaron at the boat was the same one spying on F. Gabriel.

I knew I wasn't crazy when I saw that!

I wasn't sure what Father Gabriel was doing. At first I though maybe he was hiding food from the Saviors so the Alexandrians would always have a stash in case they ran out of food, but I guess it looks like he took off with the stuff to either go out on his own or to join another group. Just seems weird if he left them since he finally embraced all of them and was onboard with what Rick was doing.

I'm also curious why Rick was smiling at the end, was it because he recognized someone or he was thinking here we go again.

My thought was he saw the numbers of people and all the weapons they had and knew he hit the mother lode here

Now to convince them to join his cause.....

Rosita's in a mood, huh? When she told Sasha just because they slept with the same guy doesn't make them friends! Dang!

Yes, that's what I thought as well.
My post disappeared that I copied to pat fan

Yes it was the inventory book that BOAT was written for clue to Rick

I corrected my error in original post so not to have wrong info

I need to start proofing things I write when rushing

Sorry for the error
