Not necessarily a blooper. Perhaps it has photos or messages stored on it from "before" that he wants to save. On the show "Revolution" where the world had regressed to pre-Industrial times (no power/electric or motorized stuff), one character had kept her cell phone for 10 years because there were pics of her kids on it that she would allow herself a few seconds of precious battery power each day to look at.
Did F. Gabriel go to that group??? That woman looks familiar too. Have we seen her before or have I seen her somewhere else?
On TTD they said a picture of Lucille was drawn in the ledger just like on the Saviors guns. Does that mean that group is one of Neegans outposts?
I wonder how Carol will find out about Glenn and Abraham and if that will be what gets her off the couch.
I liked it too. I don't think this group is a Negan outpost. Rick smiled at the end, I think he sees a potential army to join him against Negan.
Did the guy force Gabriel to go with him? It was just so odd. He left his book in hopes that Rick would find it I guess.
OOH I missed that! Glad I'm watching it again tonight with my husband!!! I'll keep my eyes peeled.Father G was not alone. As he was pulling away from the car, you can see a person sit up in the front seat next to him. I think he did go to the Swamp (??) group and the person who was spying on Alexandria and the end of episode 8 is who he's with.
I thought that was the inventory book from the pantry.Gabriel left his diary book
One page he wrote the word - boat
I must have missed that....where was there an alive/undead person? That "walking dead" that we discussed previously -- the one who looked too alive and undead
Pretty sure I read somewhere that the one spying on Rick & Aaron at the boat was the same one spying on F. Gabriel.I do wonder how Gabriel ties in. We saw before the mid-season finale that someone was spying on Alexandria, and I believe we also saw someone spying on Rick and Aaron in the boat episode too didn't we? Possibly the same person,
That "walking dead" that we discussed previously -- the one who looked too alive and undead -- they revealed in a TV Guide episode that she will be one of the people from one of the groups that Rick meets. So that answers that question LOL
I thought that was the inventory book from the pantry.
My thought was he saw the numbers of people and all the weapons they had and knew he hit the mother lode hereI wasn't sure what Father Gabriel was doing. At first I though maybe he was hiding food from the Saviors so the Alexandrians would always have a stash in case they ran out of food, but I guess it looks like he took off with the stuff to either go out on his own or to join another group. Just seems weird if he left them since he finally embraced all of them and was onboard with what Rick was doing.
I'm also curious why Rick was smiling at the end, was it because he recognized someone or he was thinking here we go again.
My post disappeared that I copied to pat fanYes, that's what I thought as well.
