HI Everybody!!! I've missed you all. I don't know if Sharky told you but I've been working on my work at home job trying to log as many hours as possible so haven't been able to get on the DIS since I've been home. I miss it and hope to get my schedule into a routine so I can work during the day and get on the DIS and do my SR at night but so far its been erratic and havent been able to do anything except the work and its not like I'm working 40 hours a week, but I wish I was financially!!!

Michele, are you okay? I heard about the earthquake and am not sure if it is anywhere near you and of course the wildfires are still burning so have thought of you everytime I watched the news today!!! I sure hope you are okay!!!!

yeah, fun times indeed. That really sucks! Hopefully nothing else happens to delay her flight so she ccan get home

Nothing else affected my flight, but by the time the storms cleared and we were allowed to leave lots of other planes were waiting for take off and we never got off the ground until nearly 10 PM. The flight was fine, my luggage arrived with me (which is always a plus) and DH was waiting for me at the baggage claim. We got home about 1:00 a.m., he had to get up at 4:00 a.m. to go to work and we get to the condo and our key won't work. We'd been having trouble with the lock and they "fixed it" several times. Well here we are with my luggage at 1:00 a.m. and we can't get in the condo. But, DH had a feeling that it could happen again so he unlatched the window nd just laid the screen in place without locking it and since it turned out he was right, he was able to walk around the back and climb in the window of the 2nd bedroom and get us inside. Whew~

No, we weren't allowed to take pictures. Not that it would have mattered anyway. I went to my mom's house and dropped off my car for my dad. I drove their car to my sister's. My mom won't drive on the beltway. Actually, I don't think she goes above 35 mph. Anyway, I left my camera in my car. You would have loved it! Those singers/actors are really talented. There were even two kids in this playing Young Simba and Nala.

I'm not sure I want to get rid of my phobias. That would mean I'd have to get close to all those critters.

We would usually get them at Wal Mart if we were going there because it was the cheapest place to go. Now, it's just as expensive there as it is at convenience stores.

One of these days, I'm actually going to get to tour D.C., not just take pictures out the window of a moving car.

Oh, yeah. Those tunnels suck. You would be better off driving to your mom's in the middle of the night when there's less traffic. Just tell her next time that you'll be there around 4 a.m.

Yeah, best to keep his germies away from the other kids, too. I can't believe everyone's kids are getting sick in the middle of summer. The kids aren't even in school now to share the germs.

When I was in college, I lived in Pittsburgh in an apartment building, apparently with a bunch of pigs living all around me. Those cockroaches would come in through the vents, and no matter how much we had them exterminated, they would always come back.

Yes, they can do something to me!!! What if one would crawl in, say, my ear, and lay eggs? Can you imagine thousands of little spiders hatching in your ear??? Or, they could get caught in my hair. Worse, they could crawl in my mouth or up my nose. What would happen if they laid their eggs there, huh, huh???

EEW! What if I had to squish a giant spider? And it makes a crunching or squishing noise? And bug guts squirt everywhere? What if I beat them to a bloody pulp, and its legs get stuck in my carpet and it somehow regenerates? Now there's a new bug crawling around to kill.

Whaddaya mean pick up a dead bug? By myself? I just leave a note on top of it for Joe.

Cows will poop anywhere. What if they poop on me? Then it attracts bugs? Have you ever seen the flies that hover around cows??

good Morning All!! I know I haven't been on in a while and have alot to catch up on.
Shannon got his staples out yesterday! AND remember my prediction...... transplant center will call after the staples are out (you know since they only called 2x while they were in!! ) well maybe that comment wasn't to ya'll. Nether one of us slept very good last night just waiting and now my stomach is tore up. I know it is from nerves.

Braeton was in a wreck w/ my sister and her 2 kids yesterday evening. He is o.k. but by the time we got back from the e.r then we got this call Well lets just say calm little Leah Ain't calm right now!!!
My poor sisters van is totalled but thank God no one was hurt and I wasn't even a mile away when she called. I made it before the police or ambulance got there. She had B who is 6 my niece who is 6 and my other niece who is 21 months. The baby is still in an infant seat Thank God. She is very tiny (wears 9 month clothes!) and could be in a reg seat actually her seat is one of those that are both but my sister still has her rear facing. It's what saved her from being thrown forward into the straps. B has a mark on his neck and chest from the seat belt, but thank God they were all buckled in. My sister is the car seat NAZi so all three were in carseats. The 2 older ones in full boosters and then the baby in hers. We have a neuro app. for B today so they can check him out further while we are in there but he acts o.k. he just kept saying his neck was popping. the ER couldn't find anything and wouldn't run a scan since his vitals were o.k. and the Dr said since he was going to the Neuro today nyway that the Neuro could check him out!!! I kept waking up thinking "what if a little bone snapped and he chokes to death!!" Then I had to give it to God so I could get my 2 hours of sleep!!!!

Ewwwwwww to the bug talk Now I'mpullling out my ears and wanting to snort every three seconds. Although Several years ago back in my early teens my dad was preaching at a church where a man had a roach stuck in his ear!!!!


O.k. I've got to go but will be back to see what I missed. Oh Yeah
Marshay I am so happy for you. Sorry about the other baby, this happened to another friend of mine and my grandmother when she was carrying my Dad but So glad the other is healthy!!!

LeeLee I haven't been on lately but I want to say I hope that the organ was a match for Shannon. You may have posted since this one as to whether it was or wasn't, but right now I don't know so I am saying my prayers, crossing my fingers and toes and sending all good thoughts your way!!! Let us know how things turn out.

Sorry that your sister was in an accident and that the kids were all with her but am very glad that no one got hurt. You must have wanted to kiss the ground breaton walks on as soon as you knew he was okay.

Actually, I was the one who decided to not buy the DVC. Not that Tomato would've said yes! I just got caught up in it being just a great deal when in reality (you know, the one where gas and milk cost 4 bucks a gallon) it is not a good time for us to take on another financial burden. Hi Love!!! On my phone you press the 1 key over and over until you find the symbol/punctuation you want. For capitalizing on my phone I press the * and hold it down while I press the letter that I want to capitalize and then let the * key go and the next letter will be lower case. Hi QM! Thank you for the concern we are fine. The accident was closer to Disneyland than to me as a matter of fact I don't think it was 25 miles from Disneyland so they must have really felt it. I can just imagine being on the Matterhorn or one of the other fast rides during the earthquake. I wonder if you would even feel it? We are about 400 or so miles a way. As far as the biggest fire it is near Yosemite which is between us and Disneyland. And that fire has the potential of being very devastating, it already has been several homes have been lost.

Wow, you realy are behind! Until just the other day, I still owed around $1000 on ours. $800 of which was Deb's. She gamve me a check, so I had to pay it on my debit card, which only lets me spend $500 a day, so I had to spread it out over 3 days (so I could still use my debit card for gas and stuff). I'm so glad to have it all paid for.

I'll make sure I get there on your birthday. We gotta do those pictures!!!

If I have a seasons pass by then I want to come!!!! I have to see Carla for her birthday!!! If I don't have a pass by then I have to come to the resort to see you or maybe outside of the park on a different day!

Hi Carla! Yep I'm still around and I've missed you too, but I won't be on much longer tonight, I got to finish up some work. I just could not make myself get on it and do my work for a while, but got to get busy now as Wed is the last day of the pay week so want to get a few more hours in before the pay week is over!!!!

I'll get into a routine one of these days and have time for SR, DIS & my work!
