well that is okay of course

guess what....I could not qualify for a daily today and they are all GONE....I have been trying and trying and trying! So now I am losing my "extra" day and I have to get one EVERY DAY for the rest of the month in order to get the bonus!

Sorry, girl that stinks:hug:

: :rotfl2: :lmao: :lmao: : Yes that would have been nice. Especially the next night, which I didn't post about when I had made her eggs, egg gas is not very pleasant. I was afraid to light a match near her, :: afraid she may blow up! :

Hey, no one made ya give me eggs

I have to think about who I would want to be most but Sharky would tell you that I am Daisy, hence my name on our PTR. She said I was most like Daisy because Daisy is so fussy with her jewelry and clothes and shoes and everything matching and always having her hairs (lol) in place and her clothes, shoes and jewelry coordinated. Yep that describes me to a tee!!! I even wear my gold earrings and my rings and necklace when I go fishing with DH, LOL. I can't help myself!!! :

She even matches her underwear;)

Thanks Carla. I am not sure what I did! But I do have an idea. DO NOT tell Tomato because he would never let me live it down.... but I think I dissed too much last week! The spot is right next to my my right shoulder blade and it radiates up into my neck. That is my mouse arm! I seriously think I sat here with my hand reached out to the mouse for too long! : I know you are all laughing right now! I am too.... and it hurts. I almost can't believe I am sitting here in this much pain just so I can tell you all this! I need help.

Unless I walk on my hands I am not sure that will help! No, I know what you mean... I just may try that later when it cools off.

Yo, QM, how yooooouuuuuu doin'? :rotfl:

And thanks... I do feel a little bit better today but it is still pretty sore. I really cannot sit here and type or use the mouse. So I guess I will say see ya later everyone!!!!!!! Don't hurt yourself by over-dissing! :

I hope you feel better soon, even though your whole I am in pain because I was dising too much, but I am here telling you, made me laugh:laughing:

I'm am SO PULLING MY HAIR OUT THIS MORNING!! :scared1:

What a day!!!! :eek: ::faint:

You and me both sister ! You must be having the same kinda day I am having. May I vent?

:headache: :headache::mad: :mad: :furious: :furious:

Sorry you girls had such bad days

Do you need our resident psychiatrist to talk to ?

Thanks.

So I just got off the phone with my "guide" at DVC....

Excellent use of that smilie! Can't say I've ever used it! :thumbsup2

Okay... here is the scoop.

160 AKV points that you can begin using 5/09.
$500 OOP down.
Disney matches with $8/pt. credit which is $1280 to put towards down payment.
Plus you get 160 FREE developer points that you can use immediately.
Plus if I get a friend to refer me that lives in my state we get a $500 gift card.

Ummmmmmmm, we just got that $400 credit for cancelling the cruise.

Is this as much of a no-brainer as I think it is?

DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Helllllooooooooooo... isn't anyone going to enable me???

It's your job people!

DO IT DO IT DO IT :yay:

That's more like it!!!!!!!! I cannot wait for Tomato to get home! It's golf night so he's gonna be late. Grrrrr. I hate golf night. :headache:

Seriously, this is one of the best incentive packages they've ever had. If I sub 3 times a month (just 3 days!) I can cover the monthly payment myself.

And we can always pay it off early and avoid the interest.

I am telling you...... if we are ever going to do this right now is the time. I know that sounds ridiculous given the economy but they are giving away money. I like free money. And free points. I like free points. 160 points would get us 5 or 6 nights at SSR. FREE.

We could go to WDW for my birthday and use the $500 gift card toward tix.

:thumbsup2

I'll be on DIS for a bit before DH comes home from work.

I'll go take the Disney test now...

Hey Marshay

Glad you are feeling well so far:goodvibes

I am most like Lady Tremaine:eek:

Good and yours?

Good. Super busy at work, which is nice

Free lunch and cake today as someone's birthday today:cool1:

We went to the mall and I got ds's Backpack for school

I almost bought it online as I could get it personalized with his name, but decided to hold off since cash was low that week:sad2:

I am so glad I did now:dance3:

Online, with personalization it would have be $25.00

I got it at the store, no personalization, but that's okay for $12.99!!!

let me snag a photo to show you all

Yes, it's a no-brainer!!! Just do it!!!!!

Ok, seriously, if you can say yes to the following, then DVC is prob right for you:

- do you want/need the extra space/room and luxuries of a deluxe resort? (i.e, if you a perfectly ok with value b/c a room is just someplace to sleep, then maybe DVC is not right -- you are paying more but getting more...)

- do you plan to go to WDW at least once every 3 years if not sooner?

- can you afford the initial cost...plus the costs of trips every 3 years or less? (tickets, air, gas, food, souvenirs, etc)

- can you plan your vacations, esp 11 months to 7 months in advance? (DVC works best if you can plan in advance ... it's not meant for the 'let's go next weekend crowd')

- are you a planner? You'll have to keep track of your points, pay the annual dues, research the best places to go on/off DVC property

I haven't heard that you need an in-state referral...that one is new to me...but I'd be glad to refer you if that still gets you the $500 (I'm in Virginia and my parents are Pennsylvania if that helps at all).

Did you join the "DVC Talk" yahoo group yet? It's like DIS but on email and only on DVC topics (part of the All Ears Yahoo groups).

For us, we struggled with DVC prior to purchasing. Each day was yes it's going to be great; no, it's too expensive, etc. Once we bought and esp once we saw the quality of the suites, we were sold and now can't imagine going someplace else.

AKV is a great resort. We own some points there (65). I may need to sell my SSR points and purchase at the Contemporary...:rotfl:

DIS shoulder.... how do I explain this to my doctor??? :rotfl2:

It's a wee bit better.... I took half a muscle relaxer around noon and I seem to be okay... not too sleepy. So, naturally I thought I could sneak some time in on here!

Good for you getting your daily. I got one earlier than 8pm yesterday too. And I got my one for today this morning!! That hasn't happened in a while but I'm happy about it so I don't have to worry about it the rest of the day. I can go to the movies and just enjoy myself :thumbsup2

Uh I'm a little lost. How much does it cost total and how many points do you get per year? :confused3

160 points for next year starting 5/09. The total cost for 160 points is $16,640... but Disney is giving you $1280 to add to your down payment of $500. Plus they are giving you 160 "developer" points that can be used immediately. So basically you an get a free trip out of it (sans park tix of course). PLUS they are giving you a $500 gift card if you are referred by a member. So up front we'd have to pay $500. We can roll closing costs into the amt. financed if we want or pay that up front. That is $325. Then there are dues and fees which add up to $750/yr but they are waived for the first year, I guess. Dude said our monthly payment would be $202. I don't know if that is with or without the dues/fees. I need to get that clarified.

Make sense? Probably not. :confused3

:woohoo: :woohoo: that IS a no brainer!! So did tomato go for it??

 Not so much. I had him until I mentioned the $202 a month. Also, he is just not completely sold on the whole aspect of DVC and the fact that it eventually expires.

He agreed that we would look into it further..... a start at least.

I have this mixed feeling of being afraid to do it and being afraid not to. I don't want to get into it and then feel strapped BUT at the same time, I don't want to pass up a deal that may never be offered again.

They don't really have DVC here at DLR but I know they are building a hotel just for that and I always kind of dream about doing it but I know ot just isn't feasable and talking Scotty into it just doesn't sound fun to me.

Hi Love!

talking Scotty into it just doesn't sound fun to me.

Hi Love!

Yes, it's a bit like getting a root canal. Fun? NOT!

He didn't take long at all to burst my bubble. He sat quietly while I gave my pitch and then the first thing out of his mouth was, "Well, not to rain on your parade but....."

Anyway, if we decide together that now is the time, we will do it. If not, I will cry. ;)

Gotta run... hungry boys.

Having a son I can totally relate to the hungry thundering herd. And I only have one. He is 12 today, my baby is growing up. Feed your hungry sweety's. I figure what I will do to Scotty is slip in the visit to check out the DVC stands and stuff at Disneyland while we are there.:goodvibes

Yes that is a start! Chris wouldn't be sold on the monthly expense either on something that expires. He'll kinda cheep when it comes to certain things and I know he'd never go for it so if you can talk Tomato into it then good for you!! :thumbsup2 Here's hoping!

And I have the same mixed feeling! It's so hard to decide. It's a good thing that we have husbands that keep us grounded. (well, somewhat   )

Michele, hey girl! Happy birthday to your DS!! Another one of my friends is having a birthday today too :thumbsup2
