It was good...but I didn't get to see the end



Okay, well, all was good at the movie until the we smelled smoke in the theater and walked out and the lobby was all full of smoke. The fire department came and said there was an electrical problem with the AC in the theater we were in so everything was fine but we got a refund anyways and left so I didn't get to see the last 20 min.

I boycot theaters because of that and another time recently that I went to see Indie and the power went out due to lightening....and then when we went to see it again we sat next to a girl with MAJOR BO so we couldn't breathe the whole movie. I'm so sick of leaving the theater pissed off

Oh, and then the friend that was supposed to come with us to the movie ditched us...never even answered his phone. Then the girl we were supposed to have dinner with didn't answer her phone either. I'm so sick of making plans and then have the people just ignore our calls and totally ditch us!!

LOL!!! I only do that to those I love so yo uca tick me off and then I wouldn't "honor you on your birthday!" When I was 40 my friends got together and paid to have a banner run under the local tv channel saying that I was 40. The banners run and start over again every half an hour 24 hours a day and it was on there for two weeks! Then my ex DH was on the school board so he used his influence to get them to put Lordy Lordy Karen's 40 on the big bulletin board on the lawn of the school on the main street through town. That's just a few of the things that were done to me, lol.

I had totally forgotten about that. Seeing your name on the tv was so cool

You are multi talented and very inspiring! See how you took the things you did as a young foolish girl and turned your talents around so you can multi task in your family with everything that goes on around there. You are truly an inspiration!

I put a sign on the front of someone's car on the grill, lol, saying Lordy Lordy Linda's 40!" as I knew she came around the back of the car to get in and then of course she parked up the street from the school all day so everyone saw the sign, which was funny, however, when she continued driving around with it and the air could not get in the grill, her car over heated, LOL, but luckily she pulled over before any permanent damage was done! Oops!

I couldn't get a survey yesterday either before we left to go to Dixie Motor Speedway for dirt track racing....didn't get home till after midnight either so I lost out on my chance for a survey yesterday. Now I can't miss any more days on daily surveys in order to qualify for the big bonus.

OKAY, NO OFFENSE CHERI, BUT I HAD A BLONDE MOMENT TODAY


While I was showering earlier, first I washed my hair. Then, I was going to condition it next and let it sit for a few mins while i shaved my legs


So, I am "conditioning" my hair and I am like, why is this so sudsy and why is my hair not feeling smooth and silky


I look at the bottle I grabbed


I had grabbed the bodywash instead of the conditioner

I just had the best Daily ever

It was about public restrooms and my bathroom

It wanted to know how I feel about public restrooms and different things I have done in public restroom...like...ask to borrow TP, talked to a stranger, etc


Then for my bathroom, what would I do to it, if money was no object, like get heated seat, install Plama TV, etc


Then it was asking things like, have you ever clogged your toilet, flushed a feminine project and have I ever fell into a toilet if the seat was left open accidentally


It was also asking about other people bathroom...Have I ever clogged their toilets, gone thru their medicine cabinets, etc


This was best survey ever and hope you guys get this one, too

She comes by it honestly!!!! I've snooped in many medicine cabinets over the years, of course I would never take anything but come on, we are all curious, lol, especially Sharky so we have to look, you just have to there is no controlling it!!!! I've been all through Sharky's, lol!!!!

Hi Everyone, all of you out there in DIS Land, except of course for any beavers!

I know it took me long enough but I am finally here! I was busy working on my work at home job, as you all know, and I was especially busy with Huey, enjoying him and oh yea, Sharky and DS too, LMAO!!!

I will have to catch up here and back on our PTR but once they close us down an dmake us move again over on the PTR, I'll be here more often chatting, while adding things to our PTR as well.

I have my office set up, my couch is open for business so anyone who needs to make an appt. just let me know and I"ll reserve the couch!!!!

THIS IS HOW PEOPLE CAN CHANGE....
When i was a young foolish girl/young Lady I used to change clothes driving to work. Yes Ms. Modesty herself!! I was going to Bible College at the time and working 2 jobs well realy 3 cause I babysat also. Anyhow lots of times I would change into my cashiers outfit after leaving the credit union where I was Assistant to the Manager. I did this all without flashing anyone while driving a standard down the road!!! I thnk the Lord turned that dangerous talent around to where now I can use it to be multifunctional w/all the stuff we have in our family!!!
I can honestly say I don't do that anymore although the other day Tyler finally admitted that it "Drives him NUTS" the way I'll steer w/my knees sometimes!!!
For the record I only use my knee for a second or so when the road is clear!!! Although he did make me realize I shouldn't do that anymore!!!

OH JEEZ! Kinda personal stuff there. Have you ever flushed a feminine product??? Well, isn't that what you're SUPPOSED to do with them?

Can't say I've ever clogged anyone's toilet, but I have been known to look in a medicine cabinet, but only because I need something, or because I might need something and I have to know where it is they keep it.

Tat you could always go to the beach in NJ and meet Sharky on your way!!!! There are lots of beaches all along the coast of NJ.

Are they nice beaches?

Well sometimes I double as a medical doctor too, so if you can't find an official doctor, I can be the unofficial medical doctor!!! Come tell me your TMI and I'll see if I can help!

Cool! I haven't had any major mishaps for a couple of days, but I'm sure one is coming.

OH man, that stinks, I've had that happen. I say you use a nasal spray (saline only, not medicine in it), then blow your nose good and clean that out of there! The iced tea may help the taste in your throat but don't think it will do much for the burning in your nose!!!

Man, I wish I would have had nasal spray! I bought some yesterday cause I'm super allergic to my sister's house (I guess it's the cat). I flushed all the snots out! Jeez, there I go again.

Last October when Tomato turned 40 I did not think it was a big deal.
Last February when one of my BFFs turned 40 I did not think it was a big deal.
Now that I will be 40 IT IS A BIG DEAL!

I really thought I'd be okay with it.

Yes that was the day I left, woohoo! I was so excited, I even got up at 5:00 a.m. to go to the airport and you have to be pretty darn special for me to get up at 5:00 a.m. for you! I got in at 10:00 a.m. and a friend's husband picked me up at the airport and brought me to the office where Sharky was trying a very big case, but she was able to get away from the other partners long enough to give me her key and the thingy to take the alarm off. So I got here and came in and everyone else was sleeping and I just hung out and relaxed until Sharky got home, Huey got up and from that point on it's been a blast!!!

Huey would not let me go to bed that night, he was afraid if he went to sleep I'd be gone in the morning. He kept hugging me and sitting with me and touching me and wanted to sit on me while I was trying to sleep, lol. It was adorable! He said "Oh Mom Mom I'm so happy to see you! I love you!" then he said when you aren't here I sure do miss you MomMom!" He sure knows how to make you feel special!!!!

Well now you just lay down on the couch and tell me how that makes you feel? I understand you wanting to make your plans the night before leisurely while you have time to discuss it and then of course you would know how to dress. I think you are perfectly justified i your feelings to be annoyed that your friend would not make the plans until the day of....I think you need to discuss this with her at another time and explain why you feel this way and see if she would be willing to make the plans ahead, next time!!!! That will be $50 please,

Remember, listen to your Mom's advice, "shaving cream" get lots and lots of cans of the cheap stuff and you can write Big 40 and all kinds of great things on her sidewalk leading up to the house and the sidewalk along the street in front of her house and it will bleach the sidewalk and though the shaving cream will wash away everything you wrote will be there for a year. LOL, also you can write it on the telephone poles outside too, up and down, that too will bleach in!!! Then of course the signs and banners and don't forget the signs out on the roads leading to her house announcing her birthday!!!!

OK everybody I have decided that my sister has graduated to old lady stage. They took my DS to a concert lastnight to see Dropkick Murphey and The Mightymighty Bosstones. They left early because Dropkick Murphey started and I quote her started dropping the F -bomb. I hate to be the cynic but at 12 they have heard it before. Her and her DH are just too old for anything other than Weird Al and John Fogerty.

That's scary. There are parts of Northern California where the cattle graze all ove rhte open land and it is nothing to have them across the highway and having to wait for them.
