The first episode airs tonight, right after some sporting event ;)

I find this show intriguing and I REALLY adore the interaction between the judges. Hoping for a great season to follow up last year's very interesting one.

The show was very good, there are very deserving and talented people that will clearly benefit from being on this show. The only thing I don't like (and I may get flamed for this) is the childish arguing that goes on with Christina and Adam. They should just do it and get it over with already, as Cee Lo said, "there is so much sexual tension between them." Plus she desperately needs a stylist, I thought for sure she was going to have a wardrobe malfunction in tonight's episode. :scared1:

It appeared to me they added some tape to cover things up part way during the show.

Glad she finally realized who the last singer was.

Last season I didn't start watching until almost the end. I don't know what I am going to do tonight... my Monday night DVR is already full.

Christina just annoys me. She looks better than she did last season, but that isn't saying much.

I don't think Adam likes her very much. It seems to me like he tries to ignore her, but she just won't shut up. She drives me nuts.

And I have to wonder if someone told her through an earpiece who Tony Lucca was. I can see not recognizing his voice or face, but I'd think once he said his name, it would set off something in her brain (as in, that sounds familiar). But her expression never changed. I was glad he picked Adam though--that seemed the best choice for his style. I don't understand when people pick a mentor that is so opposite him.

I was surprised that one man picked her. Did he not watch last season? She didn't seem to give her male team members much of a shot--she was all about the ladies. I hope she does things a bit differently this year.

And I agree, she needs a stylist. She is so very pretty, but looks about ten years older right now. Certain parts of her body look so pained and smooshed. And that hair...

I really like The Voice. But Christina annoys me SO much. I just wish she would shut up and let Adam talk! Then when she said he just wants to be in the center of attention, I was like  She can't be serious.

Anyway, good first show, although my DVR didn't record the beginning. They kept saying Blake had someone on his team, but we never saw that. :confused3

Did anyone see Christina's spray tan malfunction at the (I think) Etta James tribute? I would have been so embarassed!

TONY LUCCA:love::love::love:

I am so in!!!! I was watching Ellen one night after I got home from work and saw the Commercial. I literally had to rewind it to make sure that it was him! Now granted I was 15 and had a total crush on him, but come on, after you hear him sing and then he says his name and you just sit there. Whatever, so over her and her Xtina bit.

Honey you are 29 30 years old, start dressing like it. Her hair was a hote mess with all those pins in the back and she really needs to get over herself.

I am thrilled for Tony and will be rooting him on, but I do have to say I think this is going to be a great season, can't wait for more tonight!

You can tell Adam despises Christina and wishes she would shut the hell up. She comes across as such a diva and high maintenance. Every time she opens her mouth, it makes her look worse.

As far as her nasty comment about him always wanting to be the center of attention, I was :lmao:. She was kidding, right?

I thought for sure her breast was going to pop right out of her skintight dress (which made her look six months pregnant), and her hair looks like straw. Yuck, she really needs a stylist.

Blake's person was the first singer. She sang one of his wife's songs.

LOL, I was thinking the same thing. With all of her money you think she could afford a decent weave!

Christina and Adam i believe dated before she got married. I don't think he despise her at all. She sang on his record. I think all the judges play back and forth.

I don't know what has happened to Christina she was so pretty, now she not put put together at all her makeup is to much.

I enjoyed it. Please tell me the auditions start to go a little faster though. I was getting tired of sob story, audition, commecial, wash, rince, repeat.

I really liked the first little blonde girl and the last guy and the rocker girl.

We love The Voice, but much like everyone else, we can't stand Christina. Why oh why can't she just shut up? And, saying someone else has to be the center of attention???? Hello Pot? This is Kettle calling....YOU'RE BLACK!!!

Completely agree with this. It is pretty clear that Adam loathes her. I don't see any sexual tension whatsoever between them. Even if they DID date in some ancient past life, it doesn't mean he can't despise her now!

The saddest part about her me me me routine is that she actually thinks she is being funny. :sad2:

Hmm, I didn't like the blonde (first performer) at all. She wasn't awful the whole time -- she had potential, and maybe it was nerves, but she seemed a little shaky and weak sometimes. Lower tones were :scared:, so maybe she was trying to stretch too much outside her range? I don't know, I just feel like Blake threw away a spot by getting her on his team. I liked the rocker girl at the end (plus, it seemed she's able to sing more than rock), and LOVED Jesse Campbell. I hope Christina does him justice.

And I agree with PPs, Christina is a beautiful woman who needs a good stylist -- her look was really distracting. The faux-bickering btw her and Adam is getting irritating already, too.

I watched it for the first time last night, and I really enjoyed it. I was a little annoyed by Christina but overall I will be watching this instead of American Idol this year.

I was so excited to see Tony Lucca. I had a huge crush on him back in his MMC days. I was 6 and thought he was fabulous.

I thought this too but then she did Moves with Jagger with him so then I thought maybe it was all an act?

I think they are the two biggest stars there and they're both in a pissing match to see who gets to be the top dog.

Blake Shelton is big in his own right. ;) He has no patience with Christina and won't play into her stupid diva behavior. That's why she leaves him alone.
