I agree a sin is a sin and I think the Pope in Rome has lots of good things to say. And I love his hat!!!
Fixed it for ya

I agree a sin is a sin and I think the Pope in Rome has lots of good things to say. And I love his hat!!!
And starting today I will pray the rosary everyday, start going to confession and get confirmed!!
Bless your heart.![]()
Read the article and see my previous comment. I believe they are talking more about people who gained such riches by exploiting others, rather than just people who happen to have a lot of money.
But who knows? What was that line from the bible about a camel and the eye of a needle?![]()
If all sin is forgiven, why would we need behavior guidelines?![]()
What do you mean by I wasn't paying attention?I used the term audience in quotes for those who are not familiar with the players in a Catholic mass.
I am a lector for my Church, which means I pass out Communion. I am very familiar with how Communion goes. I have been to dozens of Churches in several states and I can maybe tick off on one hand how many times I have been offered the blood if I am not serving as a Eucharistic minister
Not just the hat...the Pope wears Prada![]()
Jenn, I really wonder if it's a New England practice...I agree with you..I never saw the wine passed out in general and that was at Catholic churches in 3 New England states.. However, in California, there was wine at every church I went too.
I thought that was the devil![]()

The "new" Pope had absolutely fabulous red Prada loafers...there were pictures of them when he was first "appointed", "coronated" (what is the word I'm looking for?) that made specific mention of the shoes...
And, yes, the book is what you said...
and that would be the, you know, funny...see that there? The devil wears Prada...the Pope wears lovely Prada loafers? It might be generously called a joke![]()
ETA: a picture of Pope in said loafers:
