The unofficial waiting to make Be Our Guest ADRs thread-8/20 7am

Not doubting your word, but just the reliability of the CM...any CM! 2 days ago, I changed a ressie from AOA to POFQ to get free dining and I asked her about the BOG ADRs and she said they had no information on that yet. I also talked to a buddy of mine who's a manager at Saratoa Springs and he has no clue.

Seems to me that no one REALLY knows. :confused3

I think a lot of the Aug 4th hype started from this...

http://www.wdwinfo.com/news/Theme_P...gic_Kingdom_s_new_Be_Our_Guest_restaurant.htm

Still not sure how accurate all of this is. Considering it's not posted in any of the actual releases from Disney...I'm still expecting to see a date at some point after mid August.

Not sure what you are referring to because the link did not work. This is the only place I have seen the August 4th date. The only other information I have seen is from the June 27th Disney Parks Blog that says "Guests can start making reservations in late August (we’ll let you know the exact date as soon as we can), with the restaurant to be open for the holidays"

Looks like that post is no longer there. It did say Aug. 4 for reservations, I know because I posted it on the FLE thread. But I guess that got edited out. Here is the working link: http://www.wdwinfo.com/news/Theme_P...gic_Kingdom_s_new_Be_Our_Guest_restaurant.htm

Well, that totally stinks. I really want to get this last piece of the puzzle figured out for our trip. At least without a date certain, I'm back to being optimistic that maybe they won't announce the specific date in advance so everyone crashes the system.........

Thanks...I'd missed that some how. I'll have to go back and find that information. Found it on Disney Food Blog and wanted to share the link in case anyone else had missed the information :)

Yeah, sorry. I had to jump to something else when I posted that and I never got around to a link.

Disney says Late August for ADR's. August 4th is hardly late. I would temper expectations.

I am mega excited to eat at Be our Guest, but it won't open till after my DH and my trip (boohoo). It looks phenomenal. Lokking forward to hearing everyones reviews once they have eaten there. I think due to popularity it may start to be a signature restaurant for DDP in the evening with 2 TS needed to eat there.princess:

I'm joining the club of those waiting for an announcement. Like many others, this is the only thing left that I need to book and hope that I can make it happen. Here's to not patiently waiting with the rest of you! :badpc:

I was talking with IPO at AKL a couple of days ago. I let them know we wanted a ADR for Be Our Guest if it opened prior or during our visit. I was told that they have not received anything from management about when reservations will be accepted. I was also told it was very unlikely to open prior to "The Holidays". I said so Thanksgiving, Christmas time frame? Response was yes then or later.

But, it is on our list of wants if it opens prior to our vacation. :upsidedow

I feel any of you with December resort plans are probably going to have a major dinner experience at BOG. :thumbsup2

We are on a "wish list" with BC IPO for the last week in November. They would not confirm that we might be able to dine there but told me they check daily for updates. I have an ADR for LTT on our MVMCP night and asked that they change it out if possible. We'll see :)

I had not heard of this until today when I was cking out the posts made today. Where is this restaurant going to be and can anyone share some more info with a latecomer? My dd14 and I are planning on being there for the PHM and would love to try this out! Where do you get on the list to be notified of the opening of ressies? Thanks so much!

Add me to the list too!!! I love Beauty and the Beast Fav movie from Disney...up until Brave. I apologise if this has been asked and I didn't catch it but is the quick service reservation too or is it walk-up like normal??? What is throwing me is the order and then food brought out to you.:thumbsup2

Quick Service doesn't require an ADR. At dinner, food is brought to you. Not lunch which is quick service.

Actually the way it has been described, the table service lunch food will indeed be delivered to your table on china.

Thats not what they said in the parks blog.

“Lunch is quick service, but not traditional counter service,” says Deardorff. Guest-activated terminals make ordering a snap (there also will be traditional cashiers for cash orders and special dietary requests). You order, take a seat and lunch is delivered to your table – on china, not paper.

Just saw a Facebook post from Everything Walt Disney world that says lunch and dinner will both be 2 credits. That makes me a credit shy or I will have to trade the hoop dee do review for it. Hmmm...wonder if they will make it sound so good that I make the switch!!!

Right. Sorry. You don't order from your table. Apologies.
