BTW, not sure if this 100% correct, but I just got off the phone with a CM to make a reservation for a larger group and he told me that ADRs will be on Aug 4th and the opening date is in September.

I would love if this were true!

Got our reservations for the Wishes Dessert Party, ADRs made, and airfare booked! All I have to do is finish paying it off and wait 81 days till POP here we come! Still waiting around to see if BOG will have an reservations open....long shot but it happens right?

I was all set for BOG to not be open in time for my October trip, but since the September opening rumors have popped up, I think I may have figured out my Plan B to fit it into the October plans after all.

OK, I totally see now how lunch is going to work.

We ate at our local Applebees for lunch today. We walked in and.......voila.......... a small computer kiosk was sitting on each table. It had touchpad with full menu, order screen, game screen to occupy the kids, a server call button and a slot to slide your card to pay, complete with roll of paper to print receipts.

The timing on this was funny because we had just been speculating about how BOG would operate. This seems very well suited to what they have in mind.

My family wasn't quite as fascinated with it all as I was......and I wouldn't have cared one whit if I hadn't been reading about BOG this past week.

Our Chili's are all set up like this! It's really nice! I love the games and cartoons that keep the kids busy! I can definitely see how this could work at BOG!

And I wish they would at least put Belle and Gaston outside dinner like they do at akerhaus! That way we could get a quick pic on the way in, and then have a nice uninterrupted dinner! Haha!

I feel pretty confident that each of us will get an adr the day we want. How? We are in the know from being right where we are, on the Dis. Based on my luck getting adrs for August just 7 weeks out and that there are still plenty of adrs available for the week of Christmas, I believe that the average Disney guest does not know that this restaurant will be opening soon or be available to book. Does this mean that I will not keep my eyes open and be online or on the phone the day that they open? No! It is part of the adventure of planning for a Disney trip and I love to get what I want...and have some bragging rights

It occurs to me that with the dual nature of BOG (QS/TS) they could do a soft opening for the QS lunches to test everything out and not be committed to the ADR system yet like with the TS.

Not sure that Be Our Guest would be the same, but at most of the other TS restaurants dinner starts at 4pm I believe.

Not doubting your word, but just the reliability of the CM...any CM! 2 days ago, I changed a ressie from AOA to POFQ to get free dining and I asked her about the BOG ADRs and she said they had no information on that yet. I also talked to a buddy of mine who's a manager at Saratoa Springs and he has no clue.

Seems to me that no one REALLY knows.
