I'm glad we have a few postings just busy enough to keep us from disappearing.

I have some serious DL cravings!

I wish I knew for sure if E will be going to San Diego in the summer. But with budget cuts.. who knows what will happen for travel and training funds??

B!! your back! I wanna go to Disneyland. To bad we could NEVER afford it. I have enough airline miles for a free trip though.. Maybe I could scrape up some cash and say that it is my Christmas/Birthday present?? Probably not. Dang kids.. Always wanting to eat.

HATING my husband being on day shift. I am SOO freaking tired. I want to kill my husband. He is such a loud sleeper. and I dont get a break AT ALL. I am up at 4:30 when he goes to work.. I have to get Alex up at 7 and off to school.. then the babies and Kaylee fed and taken care of. They never nap at the same time.. Plus they are up ALL NIGHT because they cant sleep because my husband is a LOUD sleeper. The other night it was Vinny.. then Kaylee.. then Jazzy.. then we started all over again!

Then HE gets home from worn and thinks he can just sit around and do nothing while I take care of all the other stuff that needs to get done.

I know we all need to adjust to this, but I am DONE. He was much more helpful in the mornings.. I think having everyone home and lively when he gets home is to overwhelming for him. I need a nap.

On the plus side.. Vinny is DAYS away from crawling! I am so excited!! He is so cute!! They are almost holding their bottles.. and they are just TO DARN CUTE!

Awww...poor Staley. I'm sure you guys just need some more time to adjust to your DH's new schedule. That's really awesome that Vinny is almost crawling and that your twins can almost hold their bottles themselves. That's really cool

Aww, that's sucky Staley. I seriously cannot imagine doing what you mothers do. Babysitting a screaming baby for two hours is too much for me, you women who have more than one baby and have to live them deserve medals and money and a luxury yacht.

Neither can I. I am not capable of being a mother any time soon. I am far too selfish and would much rather have a dog.

OK, I just checked my bosses credit card points and we can redeem them for hotel gift cards. Right now they have Marriott, Hyatt, Ritz-Carlton & Best Western cards available.

I know I just spent a boatload of his points on gift cards. But he builds them up rather quickly. Already this month he has enough for $100 worth of hotel gift cards...so I know we can have enough built up over the holidays to pay for our room over a weekend.

There IS a Best Western right across the street from Disneyland... Im thinking about it.. I really am. I could SO use a trip away from it all. Let me work on the old man a little.. Maybe a three day weekend? It is $189. right now for a three day park hopper......... Maybe a couple hundred for food and such? That wouldnt be so bad. I could probably swing $400.

It will be Delta (formerly Northwest Airlines.. sniffle sniffle.. not sure if I like the merger).

I just remembered there is a bing search game site where I can also earn miles.. halfway to cashing out for 500 miles, took less than an hour to jump from 250 to 500 points (need 1,000 points for the 500 miles).

I have plenty of time to waste on games or I can talk my kids into playing for me.

For me the air fare is the biggest expense, average is around $300.
Next to tackle is my hopper pass.. I currently have a SoCal Select AP, blocked out on weekends. Hoping they have some deals for 2 day pass.. or some other creative options (depends on what dates work for all of you) .

I have some money left on a Disney GC, could cash out a point program for Rainforest Cafe or something... it's all workable on a verrrrrrrrrrrrrrry tight budget.

Cereal, oatmeal packets, water, and ramen noodles at the hotel if all else fails Or maybe a grocery run/ delivery?
Breakfast is easy - oatmeal pkts, crummy hotel coffee, cereal, bars
Lunch -- we brought bag lunch on most of our visits, much better than some of the food options in the park- blech!
Dinner-- well.. that would be the one expense of the day because I would tire of the other options by then. Too bad In and Out is not across the street.. mmmmmmmmmm.

I have just enough miles for a free ticket on Alaska... My mom wanted me to go to my nephews graduation... But I would rather go with you all to Disneyland. Does that make me a bad person?? I would rather go down with my family to see my sister. That way she could meet the babies.

Okay ladies, figure out some dates.

My AP expires March 2nd, it's a So Cal Select -- basically Monday to Friday only and no holidays/ busy season (MLK day, President's Day).

I can arrive earlier in the week on my own (Priceline/ cheap), do the volunteer thing for the free pass to go on a Saturday, and go home on Sunday.

The only time I cant go is January 24th.. Alex's B-day.. And obviously the beginning of March.. Twinnies first b-day. Other than that, Im good. The sooner the better! Im down to leave NOW. Not that I have any money.. We are trying to figure out how I can get to the airport without the kiddos noticing. We dont want them to know where I am going.

It hit me last night in bed that I am going to leave my husband ALONE with four kids. I was a wreck leaving him with TWO. What is he going to do with FOUR??? I havent been away from the twins for more that a couple of hours.. So this should be interesting.
