The Unofficial Chatterbox Thread! Everyone is Welcome!

HOLY CRAP!! I was looking to see if I nad enough airline miles for you to use on Alaska.. (American) and it was 65,000 miles!! YIKES! But it was first class. :lmao:

hello, just got home from hanging out with a friend. We tried a new restaurant called Bogart's Bar and Grill. It's located inside of a brand new movie theatre. It's named after Humphrey Bogart and they had Casablanca playing in the background. We also got yummy shaved ice with ice cream from a place called Shave It. We were the only ones there so it was kinda cool. Then we went to Borders and I got 2 more mystery boxed Domokuns and I got a red one and a wood patterned one along with more pieces for the clear Domo. Yay!

Hmmmmm... Ritz it is! :lmao::lmao:I dont know. I only have stayed at the Hojos!

Guess I will need to play with Delta award reservations again, I plugged in last week Feb just to see. It's higher miles (more than I have) if I go on a Friday- Sunday, and the lowest miles (exactly what I will have) if it's Wednesday to Monday.

I think I will ask around to see if I can upgrade my select to a So Cal, no block out on Sundays. I still have my California ID, but they clipped it at the DMV when I got my new one.. hmmm, not sure how Disney would like that.

Just tell them you got caught drinking and driving and they suspended your license and clip it:rolleyes1...doubt they'll question that.:lmao:

Sorry, didn't mean to disappear. I was looking up the gift card options.

Oooh! You can use Alaska miles to fly NWA, and Delta. Can I give you some of our miles?

We stayed at that one. Not really the greatest hotel. I can get Hyatt, Marriott, Ritz Carlton and Best Western. I think there is a BW on the other side of DL that might be better.

Here is what I can currently get for food...Burger King, Panera, Starbucks, Applebees, Macaroni Grill, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Bahama Breeze, Season 52, Hard Rock Cafe, Chilis.

Although if we go to a hotel that has a restaurant, then we might be able to use the gift cards in the restaurant also.

I think the Hyatt is supposed to be really nice. Thats all the Hotels I know of in the area.

Marriot... there is one next to Convention Center, walked it in mornings but it is long after a full day. But I liked it, very comfy beds. Has a Starbucks and a Pizza Hut in the lobby.

(I don't suggest the Hilton next to Convention Center, it needs a major rehab - gray socks and worn out everything, ewww. But the 4 large rooftop hot tubs, ahhhh loved those!)

Fairfield was okay too, don't sleep on the fold out couch thingie.. it was horrible and too short even for my kidlets.

I would suggest that you all crash at Albort's but then he might say that he doesn't have an ODV that is big enough or roomy enough for you all! Just kidding :teeth:

I've read of the Hyatt too, one of them pops up on priceline frequently. I think they have a shuttle?? but I could be wrong.

I think they do. I have driven past it, and it is across from a Target if I remember right.

No Ritz near DL. I just checked...bummer! But there is a Fairfield Inn by Marriott near the main entrance. I can't remember which one that is, but looks closer then HoJo.
