The Unofficial Chatterbox Thread! Everyone is Welcome!

:yay:

Awesome!
House hunting is a pain, but it will be so worth it to have the room to spread out and go ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. :cutie:

I am looking forward to not having the babies in our room anymore.. Maybe we will all sleep better.. I doubt it, but a girl can hope, right??

Hello!

Wow our thread is quiet!! :scared1::eek:  I hope you guys are having a good weekend.

My bf got me the most awesome gift for Christmas. It's Tokidoki for Hello Kitty and most Sanrio stores have sold out of this item. I was told that they won't have it again once it's sold out. I located a store not too far away and they only had 5 left. I really love it and it's huge! I love big bags! :yay::cutie:

The store I went to had some "blind box" Tokidoki cell phone charms/zipper pulls. The sales clerk was really nice and had a display of all the characters on a bracelet. She said if I wanted to purchase the characters from there separately (choosing the ones I want), I could do that rather than take a chance with the blind box. :goodvibes I chose Ciao Ciao which is this girl:

and also Latte :)

and another one called Superboy. :)

On Friday night my friend and I went to Yogurtland! Yogurtland is so awesome and inexpensive. I filled up a medium sized cup of yogurt and it was only $2!! Most places charge you at least $4 for that. You can read about it here: http://www.yogurt-land.com/

I will post some pics of this place. They have a Tokidoki promo going on. They have 4 Tokidoki spoons. I was able to complete the set when I went with my friend. :yay::yay: They give them to you for freee with your frozen yogurt.

I watched Gran Torino with my boyfriend last night. The movie was okay and I thought Clint Eastwood was funny at times. :) Hope you guys have a good day :)

Cute bag!
Latte is very cute too!

MMMMM, now I want a Yogurtland to come here. It would be a good fit at Mall of America or one of the local suburbia malls, I was happy that we finally have Noodles & Co closer to my area (and also at Mal of America) .. before it opened had to wait out my craving for our special trips to Trader Joe's (also not nearby, special trip about 30-40 minutes out)

Okay ladies, were down to 60 days (or less depending which day of arrival).

I have three possible options for my Tuesday night stay, just a matter of deciding if I want to buy an Entertainment Book (HoJo's ENT rate $59 is available).

Or if I want to branch out to try the Quality Inn that's just round the corner from HoJo's , found a lower rate than their own website.. they will price match plus 10% off (it would be $45) and they have a basic breakfast. (decent reviews now under new management)

Or see if I can find a better offer than their own website for Anaheim Plaza, which I have read is decent... and closer to either of the Marriott than Hojo .. unless my directionally challenged self has that wrong?

Now for the rest of the trip..

I have GC for Rainforest, Disney GC and one ordered for Pizza Hut.... meals covered. Woohooo!
Any plans to make at least one PS? Or skip it? I don't mind either way as long as it's not too pricey.. soup is my friend. Couple places I have never been is any of the sit down places in DCA or in the hotels (except for Goofy's).
And who is joining us??
I know Sarah was considering it for Saturday, Dizzy maybe available just in morning because I think she was going back home that day  and the Pixster :flower3: I hope will grace us with her presence....

And any family members too. The more the merrier :goodvibes

hmm, we should take over something ... Pirates, IASW, Tiki, Jungle Cruise, Tea Cups :thumbsup2 and a meet and greet with Mickey?? or something equally silly? (I plan to use the Give a Day, Get a Day ticket for Saturday since I am blocked out. No hopping. )

Any ideas?

PLEASE don't force me thru that annoying Birthday thing again. :scared:

:yay: I wish it wasn't 60 + - days away, I wanna go now! Weather decided to match the season, 30's and dropping to 20's at night. We had a dusting of snow, it's cold enough that it stayed around. UGH! I guess it could be worse, next month it will be in the negatives. I will be singing the blues with day after day after day of cold and no sun. :(

As far as hotels go.. I think that the closer we are the better.. Just to make it a nice easy walk, adn we wont have to worry about shuttles or anything. Food?? I am down for anything! I would love to something sit down, low key and quiet.. So we can just chat it up for a while when we are eating. Places we havent been?? Ummmm.. Any place in DCA.. Nothing has really jumped out at me there though. But really, I am good with anything. Wine Country Tratoria looks pretty good! And the prices are good too!

Rides? Im down for anything! I am just looking forward to spending some time with my girls! Having some chatty time, not having to rush through my meals because I am chopping things up all tiny and and feeding babies.. OMG. I will get to use BOTH hands. You have no idea what a treat that will be. No lie.. I was feeding both babies, and Kaylee was trying to pop food in my mouth the other day. :rolleyes:I want to sleep with out being woken up.. I want to take my time shopping.. I want to RELAX. :cloud9:

Ugh... I have just had a rough week. Our friends with the triplets are going through a very hard time right now. They got news that two of the babies are NOT doing well. They have brain bleeds. The worst kind, stage four. Its not looking good for them right now. The only good thing that came out of that was that they stopped fighting. Thursday they were seriously talking talking divorce... Now they are leaning on each other, thank goodness. So I have been talking to Bill since Wednesday, trying to help him work through what was happening. My heart is breaking for them. I cant imagine the pain they are in right now.

I have been in such a foul mood all week! Sad, and grumpy... YUCK.

But I got a call from my mom today that just turned everything around! (how often do i say that???:lmao:) Yesterday we met her for lunch halfway... and had a really nice visit with her for a couple of hours. Honestly, its just the perfect amount of time. I think she might have gotten the idea that I was feeling a tad blue, and overwhelmed... (me, overwhelmed??:lmao:) Anyways.. we made plans for Christmas and all that.. it was lovely!

Back to the phone call.. I was on a war path this morning. Seriously. B*tch city. It was gruesome!:lmao: My mom calls and tells me ythat she is at Target. Okay. :thumbsup2 Groovy. She said she had picked up some formula..:cool1: Diapers..:cool1: Some extra bottles..:cool1: Then she is cruising the toy section and says.. Hey, werent you talking about getting the kids bikes for Christmas? Why... Yes, yes we were. I have been searching online looking for an awesome deal, but not finding something I could afford.

OMG!!! She bought my kids BIKES for CHristmas!!!:woohoo::woohoo: Helmets, the whole nine! I cant tell you how thrilled I was! OMG.. They are going to walk out Christmas morning... all fuzzy eyes and excited, adn there will be BIKES!!! They will DIE! AND.. thats not all. She got a porta crib for the babies, so they will each have a bed at her house, she got my kids a ton of clothes.. Jammies.. undies.. everything.

She was like.. I didnt get the babies any toys, is that okay?? ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME???? They need NO toys. They dont care about christmas, it isnt for them. Its for the biggers! Diapers and formula... Thats what they need. OH!! and she gave dh and i OUR presents this weekend. NEW CAR SEATS!!! They are fantastic! and HUGE! But super comfy, and lovely.

Guys.. My babies are in big kid car seats now. :sad1:

Good Morning! DBF and I went to DL on Saturday. Is was crowded but we got alot done. Fast Passes are great! :rotfl2: Did some pin trading, ate at Test Pilots, didn't do any shopping. By the time we got to the car it was 1:00am.

Oh, ans on IASW there was an Elvis figure in front of Lilo and Stitch...I didn't get a picture of it.

Hiya Ladies (and Albort too)...since he always seems to pop on whenever I address just the ladies.

Sorry I've been so busy lately...it's been crazy busy at work, worked on Saturday againl...arrgggghhhh!

Anyway, it looks like I'm not going to be able to get anymore Marriott gift cards. But we do have the $100 card, so we can use it for meals or a room there...I'm pretty open.

Do we want to talk to Albort about getting a room on-site? The prices he was talking about were pretty good and I have no problem putting it on my credit card. Otherwise, I'm open to staying anywhere. I can call and check on the Best Western employee prices also.

OK ladies, I can get us an employee rate at the Best Western Pavilions for $39 per night! In addition, if B. is interested I will be hiring her to work for our company just prior to the trip, so she will be an employee and the lower rates can also apply to her earlier arrival.:thumbsup2

It is located a little further away from DL, probably would have to take ART. It's located on Katella & Walnut (1 block over from DL Drive), at least on the map I looked at. Most people seem to cut thru the employees Car Park and say it's a 10 minute walk to the GC. Let me know what you think?? The price is right and I have no problem walking, but I know that Megan was concerned about a long walk. On the other hand, it's slow season and I believe it's $4 per day for an ART pass, the busses should be too crowded that time of year. So?????

Woohoo! I will gladly accept my new position as an employee of
Bernalison Hotel of Uranus Worshippers :thumbsup2

ART is easy to use, in some ways is better than the long walk to HoJo. Done for the day, walk out to esplanade and hop on a bus. :)

Kind of a pain if you don't time it right, I always manage to get there 5 minutes late and have to wait another 15 for the next one. Which is okay if you're with others, chance to chatter and just sit for a bit. Lunch time they have an hour break, most times I don't bother going back to the hotel for a break... I told you about having my boys sleep on the train for about three grand circle tours right? Yep bad mommy award for that one :lmao:

Im down to stay anywhere.. $39 per night sounds like a good deal to me!

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Awesomeness!

Indeed! I just looked up the reviews for the hotel, adn they are really good! Better then I was expecting. It looks kinda far, but I am not opposed to ART. Or walking! Its not like we will be there for 2 weeks or anything. :lmao: AND the reviews all say the beds are comfy... You know how I am about beds!

According to the Google map, there is a liquor store behind the hotel. :drinking1

Reading trip advisor reviews, everyone commented on the comfy beds. :cloud9:There is Denny's next door and a Food 4 Less at a walkable distance. Fridge, microwaves and crappy hotel coffee makers in the rooms.. I'm ready to pack my Top Ramen and oatmeal packets. :thumbsup2

:lmao:Awesome! I am gonna need my Dr. Pepper... and then i should be A-OKAY. Maybe some yummy coffee creamer.

Restaurants..
Marri's Pizzeria, next door (mixed reviews.. loved this one only because I just watched season 3 of Weeds  "Bad atmosphere, unless you like the scent of Mary Jane floating around.")

up the block..
Coco's ( I've heard this is good, basic coffee/bakery type like Perkins)
Tiffy's

I dont mind so much where we eat.. as long as we EAT! I turn.. UGLY if I dont eat in the morning!:lmao: Its brutal!

I don't get growly, I get pukey feeling.
Eloy loves to just get up and go on the weekends.. tells me "we'll eat later" uhh NO, you will feed me NOW!
