The Unofficial Chatterbox Thread! Everyone is Welcome!

I hate it when they tell me that just because its not what they show in the picture.. its not right. Whatever!! I got a good deal at the grocery store today. I had a coupon for B1G1 of formula.. They had the BIG cans clearanced for $13.50... So O got two huge cans of formula for $13.50!!!1 :cool1::cool1: Thrilling. My husband is out with his friend at the liquor store. I think my husband is trying to get me drunk. You know what happens when momma gets drunk right? MORE TWINS!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

AWESOME! I sent you some formula checks and coupons the other day, have you gotten them yet? You may want to go back. Sent a bunch of Play Skool toy coupons also. I've heard that Walmart had some of those toys on sale and they ended up being dirt cheap with the coupons.:thumbsup2

DO NOT DRINK THE ALCOHOL!!! You only have 4 arms as it is, how could you possibly expect to hold 2 more?:rotfl2:

BTW, isn't it time to reschedule the snipsnipclipclip?:rotfl2:

:lmao:TOO LATE!! Im already working on a drink bigger then Jasmine. :lmao:

You sound like my mom. :scared1: We do.. Im waiting until after CHristmas.

I was really bummed about the toy coupons...I have no little kids left to buy those toys for. There are a lot of them for $5-$10 off and most of them are good until at least Christmas time, some of them are good for after also, so good for the clearance sales.:thumbsup2

I think this will really be the first year that DS won't be wanting toys for Christmas. Last year he didn't want many, but still a few. It's the end of an era...SIGH. I'm so freaked out that he will be in junior high next year.:scared1:

I told my daughter and her bff that I was going on a hyena trip in February and they wanted to come along. I told them it was a Ladies Only trip...they said, well do we look like guys? They assured me if they could go that they would just go shopping and not bother me at all. Yeah, that's all I need...to worry about 2 17yo's with my credit card in So. Calif!:scared1:

OY! I can imagine. I have issues with Alex growing up.. and he is only 7.

Letting two seventeen tear old loose with a credit card? :scared1: OH MY!

Well I need to go figure out what I'm making for dinner. I'll probably pop back on later tonight. Talk to ya then if you aren't passed out!:rotfl2:

His co worker's new house is out in the sticks, in a very nice picture perfect style new cookie cutter development.. I was singing on the way to the door "one of these things is not like the other.. one of these things just doesn't belong" :rolleyes1
Yep, that would be us.

His fiancee's family ($$$$) helped pay for the house, even he felt a little overwhelmed and commented that he never expected to have a house so soon. But you could tell he was thrilled and eager to show off his home. :cutie:

She went around the neighborhood and invited everyone to the housewarming. E and I were the odd ducks "where do you live?" uhhh not anywhere near here
We hung out, chatted with his co-workers family and fiancee (and her mom). Nibbled a bit and figured we had made a showing on behalf of the "I know him from work" category and away we went.. commenting on the way.. wow.. that was ummm, so not US!

:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

I remember thinking like that when we moved into this house. OMG, we're one of those people that live up on the hill. We don't belong here! :rotfl2: We were living downtown in a cookie cutter, 1970's, badly in need of a remodel house.

But I'm happy to report that it didn't take us very long to feel right at home! One day that will happen to you also.

OMG. Both babies started crawling over the weekend. :scared1: Vinny is doing more of an army crawl. but FAST. Jazzy is all over the place. ALL OVER.

My husband and I got into a HUGE fight this morning. He said that I dont do ANYTHING around the house. REALLY??? NOTHING??? I almost KILLED him. I told him that if he felt that way, he could just leave. He was throwing stuff all around the house and throwing a huge temper tantrum. It was awful! He was mad because I asked him to get off his video game and make breakfast. Repeatedly. ONE morning. ONE. I ask him to make breakfast for the kids. and he freaks ou and says I dont DO anything around the house. SO when I get up to do it.. I only ASKED him to do it because I was sick this morning. Anyways.. I get up to do it and he FREAKED out.

I was cleaning the kitchen, and he started throwing his fit. I put all the kids in their room so they wouldnt see his childish behavior. I couldnt BELIEVE it! Then he starts screaming that I dont do anything.. He said all I do is sit around taking care of the babies. REALLY?? I dont clean the house? dont make three meals a day?? I dont pay all the bills and take care of EVERYTHING for the kids?? I do EVERYTHING in this house! He told me that if I was that unhappy.. I could call my mom to come pick me up. I CANT!! He was like.. WHY NOT??:mad: Because her car wont fit us all in it....:rolleyes1:lmao:

Anyways.. I was screaming back at him.. Dont I have dinner ready for you every day when you get home from work? Umm.. Yes. Dont I make sure you have clean under pants every day? Yes... Dont I make sure we have power, and cable and everything else?? Yes... Boy did he feel like a jerk. He was like.. Im sorry! I shouldnt have said that.. So he felt bad for being a dork, and I was still mad. So I finished cleaning, and he made some breakfast. It was awful. We never fight. I dont know what happened this morning. He was just tired, or something. :confused3

And really. In the kitchen of all places! You would think that he would know better then to start a fight in the room we keep the knives. ;)

I'm sorry you guys had a fight. Dh and I fought alot yesterday too, must have been something in the air, maybe it was full moon. I woke up grumpy which doesn't happen too often.

Today I am going to the gym to sign up for a trainer. Remind me again why this is a good idea? It seemed so smart when I first thought about it but now that I actually have to do this it seems like a really bad idea!

Bummer on the fight Staley

I think guys sometimes have to be the growly bear and let off steam..preferably in a way that is healthy and less stressful for everyone.. YESH!

I stumbled trying to answer the "and what do you do?" question.

uhhhhh I'm a domestic diva :thumbsup2 and the response is "oh"

Hey now!! I don't just sit at home dontcha know :snooty: (Except for today, I feel cruddy today.. major overhaul cruddy.. flu?)

Who else is going to do the housework, organizing everyone's schedule, cook, keep our budget in check and be the support person for Eloy (which right now is very hands on... he recreated the scene from Carrie last night --- YUCK!)

Throw in feeling cruddy... staying home is just fine thank you very much!:goodvibes

Staley- I'm sorry about you and your husband having an argument. It sucks to fight with your lovey. :( Believe me, I hate that too. :sad2:

Christina- you could try out the personal trainer and if you don't like it, maybe you could get a refund. :) I hope it works out for you. I signed up for a 3 year membership to 24 Hr Fitness. The personal training sessions are too expensive for me. I need to get my butt back into the gym more. I really want to but it's frustrating when most of their machines are broken. :headache: I already e-mailed their corporate office and the manager e-mailed me and said that he informed corporate about the broken machines, but they chose to defer it for the time being. :sad2: I hope they fix them because it's really crowded and I don't like to workout during busy hours.

I went to a new Disney Store that opened up in Camarillo Outlet. My little sister and I went down on Saturday to check it out. I was looking around when I found: TA-DA! PERRY THE PLATYPUS!!! :yay: I have been looking for this beanie of him but the other stores kept selling out. They were 2 for $12 so I got one Pooh plush too. I was so happy! OMG! Perry the Platypus!! :rotfl: He's from the cartoon Phineas & Ferb. I watched a few episodes of this show and it's really not bad. :rotfl:

On Sunday my bf and I watched A Christmas Carol in 3D (the new Jim Carrey movie). :3dglasses It was really cool and I liked all the special effects. Very awesome. :) You guys should see it.

I was happy to discover that Colin Firth and Carey Elwes are voices in this film. :yay: I like both of them. I rented Blood: The Last Vampire from Red Box along with Nothing Like the Holidays. The vampire one was a bit gorrey in some parts but it had cool fighting scenes. The other film I rented was terrible. At least it's only $1 a night for the rental fee.

I also rented Ramen Girl with Brittany Murphy. It was actually a cute movie and I bought the DVD from Target. :)

MEGAN, MEGAN, MEGAN....first of all when they tell you to leave with the kids, you just tell him you will be calling your mom to come get you and you'll stop by to visit the kids in a couple of days. That usually shuts them right up!

Secondly, I can't belive that you are worried about a room with knives. When we all know you are far more dangerous with SPORKS then knives!:scared1::laughing:

Now you know why I send my hubby elk hunting every fall. He is so happy that I'm one of those wives that "allows" their husbands to go on a vacation without them. Little does he know it's my two weeks of sanity before the long, dark winter...when there is little to do but be in the house together arguing ALL THE TIME because of the crappy weather. The other day he thanked me for letting him go...I just smiled and said "Thank YOU"!

I guess it's days like this that make you happy that you entered into a legal contract that has an end...you know, that "'til death do us part". Yep ladies, that's our out...we don't have to spend eternity with them.:thumbsup2

Thanks guys! All I could think was... What the heck would you do if I worked and YOU stayed home with the kids?? Play video games all day?? Yeah. That would be AWESOME. Dork. ANYWAYS. He felt like crap and did everything all day yesterday. I had a DAY OFF! I never have days off! :lmao:I got to lounge on the couch.. and take a NAP!:cool1: Of course I couldnt sleep last night after that. Figures, huh? :rotfl2:

I would gladly let him take off for a vacation without me.. But he doesnt want to. He says he gets to lonely without us. :confused3 I Like peace and quiet without the family. I would rather have him with me... just no kids. But then we might end up with a few more kids. :lmao:

Pix.. YAY!!! I love the platypus. It cracks me that now Kaylee knows what a platypus is.. She is all... Phineous... Ferb... Platypus! :rotfl2: Perry is my hero. :love:Makes me wish we had a platypus for a pet. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Hey, are you still planning on using miles for Alaska Airlines? What days are you planning on going? If so do you want me to book my flight out of Seattle, I could swing by and pick you up and we could both fly in & out of Seattle??

I can get a flight out of Portland for 12,500 miles, but the flight back has to have a layover in Seattle. Or I can get both legs straight thru for 16,250 miles. I don't want to waste the extra miles because that gives me 7,500 extra miles for spring break...almost a one-way ticket to Orlando.

Besides, by the time you factor in a layover and the fact that I hate the Horizon commuter planes from SEA to PDX...well I'd just as soon drive to Seattle, because I'll get home around the same time anyway!

Out standing! Yes! I am planning on using Alaska... I was hoping to do Thursday morning to Sunday afternoon.

Let me know when you get ready to book and we'll see if we can coordinate. The only downside I can think of with this plan would be in the event of snow and I couldn't drive to Seattle. But even if that happens, I can always reschedule and go from Portland for a $50 charge. So not really a big deal.

I was thinking of the same schedule also...leave on early Thursday morning and come home on Sunday afternoon.

That might also save Frelan the stress of having to load all the kids up in the wee hours of the morning to go to the airport.:thumbsup2
