The Unofficial Chatterbox Thread! Everyone is Welcome!

Let me know when you get ready to book and we'll see if we can coordinate. The only downside I can think of with this plan would be in the event of snow and I couldn't drive to Seattle. But even if that happens, I can always reschedule and go from Portland for a $50 charge. So not really a big deal.

I was thinking of the same schedule also...leave on early Thursday morning and come home on Sunday afternoon.

That might also save Frelan the stress of having to load all the kids up in the wee hours of the morning to go to the airport.:thumbsup2

:thumbsup2YAY!!!:cool1::cool1::cool1: Awesome. I know it sounds lame, but I hate flying alone. I should be ready to do it in a couple of days.. Let me get all my ducks in a row. quack*** quack***

Oh yeah... and I was going to have to take a shuttle or something to the airport. We didnt want the kids to know where I was going. :lmao: If I got on a plane, they would KNOW... :lmao:

Shuttle, schmuttle...I'll bring the Mercedes!:thumbsup2:rotfl2:

I just checked, they have flights that leave at 6:30am or 8:25am. I think I would prefer the 8:25am...it gets in SNA at 11:06am.

The afternoon flights are leaving SNA at noon, get in SEA at 2:48pm or leave SNA at 4pm get in SEA at 6:53. Since I have to go to work the next morning I think the noon one would be better. What do you think?

Well I need to get my rear back to work...I'm so far behind from getting stuff done for my boss before he left town last week. We'll get it figured out in a few days.:thumbsup2

OH, I forgot Alaska flies into Long Beach also don't they? Might want to check those schedules also.:confused3

I would definitely like the later flight on Thursday.. Give me some time to chug some coffee.. and the noon flight on Sunday is just peachy with me.

Yep. They sure do.. I have flown into it a few times.

Okay... Alaska has Jack Crap flying into Long Beach. We would have to fly Delta down, and transfer in Salt Lake and fly Horizon into Long Beach. Other wise it would be 40,000 miles.

Still waiting on miles to credit, but I might have Eloy transfer miles to me.. $40 charge for 1000 miles. Delta keeps messing with the award travel reservations... at first it was 32,500 if I went back home on Sunday now that's back to being in the low range.. but arriving on Thursday will cost me more. If I do a Wednesday to Sunday then it's back to 25,000 ($5 charge per flight leg plus luggage $15 one way... yep Delta sucks!)

I'm looking at Wednesday morning arrival, departure Sunday at noon through SNA. Priceline maybe on Wednesday night or something cheap like the Anaheim Plaza Inn where I've read of people getting as low as $44 a night. One night of ewwww potential is okay

Now if I can just start feeling good again. I've got the "I feel like a truck ran me over" feeling and a 100 degree temp... fun fun fun..

Maybe we can just spend a few days touring the west coast and every single airport.:lmao: Now there's a vacation!

Hmmmm....I was originally thinking of going Wednesday night, but didn't think anybody would be there and didn't really want to spend the night by myself. Now I'm kinda torn. I'm thinking I'll go ask my trusted advisor...the Magic 8 Ball what I should do.:wizard:

Hot Dog... My kinda trip! :lmao:

You guys could always start the party a night ahead of time... :rockband:

I would suggest that everybody get their flu shots and winter sickness done and over with before February. Cuz we don't want no sickies on our trip!:thumbsup2

Hope you feel better soon B!

Personally I like to arrive at my destinations the night ahead of time and then wake up refreshed and ready to go the next day. But then again it's not really a very long flight...I guess I just always think of my Florida trips where it takes all 7 or 8 hours.

I know it.... We are flying in in the evening so we can get all adjusted and rested up for the next day. But yeah... To SoCal its only 2 and a half hours or so. W always have done the early morning flights so we can have the whole day there.

Either way... I wont have to take care of four kids.. So im GOOD!:cool1::cool1::lmao:

Hold it, we're supposed to be taking care of the kids? Dang, there goes my mother of the year award again! Heck, I made my DS clean bathrooms tonight and DD had to do dishes and clean the kitchen. I made them do this while I stood in the laundry room pretending to do laundry.:rotfl2:
