Called up today for 250 pts at SSR! I put the $500 down and the paperwork will be fed exed to my office so I can surprise the wife for a Christmas present! I usually do pretty well at Christmas but I bet this one brings a tear...

What a nice hubby!

I'm sure both of you will be extremely happy with the gift.

I kindof got an add on at SSR for an early Christmas gift. DH said we could and we did!! I'm thinking that's what I'll be getting, which is just fine with me!

PS: you are a pretty good hubby with a gift like that! :cool1: and she's a lucky girl! :love2:
Enjoy

Don't forget to post and let us know what happens Christmas morning. What a nice husband! I think there may be a lot of people who will be surprised by Santa's gifts this year! Annmarie

Wow!! What an awesome gift! Hope she's a disney freak like us. :rotfl:

That is the best christmas gift a girl could get!! Something to share together to keep that connection and joy I love it!! And if their are little ones that just makes it even more special.

I would probably die! That is the best christmas present ever FOR SURE! What a guy! :lovestruc

What an amazing gift. When is your next trip? Are you going to be arranging to go much sooner than she expected? Are you going to make the ressies before you give her the gift? How will you present it to her - wrapped, hidden on the tree, or what? So sorry for all the questions but I'm curious and excited for you, and for her.

Boy, your Mama raised you well, your wife will be thrilled. :flower:

And welcome to the DVC family. We love SSR and I am sure you and your wife will too.

That is really wonderful !!!! But I am just wondering is this going to be in both names or just yours.....I think we both had to sign the papers and have them notarize when we purchased. Not trying to rain on your parade just a thought. :earsgirl:

Hey what are you getting me for Xmas? :rotfl2:

What a great Christmas! I had it all setup. First she opened the Mickey glass ornament with "2005" on it, then she opened the 12" plush goofey, meanwhile, I went upstairs and changed all the bedding to the Mickey and Minnie flannel sheets, the Mickey duvet cover, the bed sham and hung the framed litho on the wall (I didn't tell her about that and let her discover it on her own later). Then she opened the Donald Duck 12" plush and commented "I see a theme here." Then she opened the Mickey fleece throw, then the Mickey luggage set. Finally the Mickey floor pillow...

I handed her the only package wrapped in gold paper and she said "let me guess, Disney books?" She peeled back the paper, saw the front of the DVC member package and it still didn't click. She opened the cover and saw "Welcome DVC Member" with the golden key...

That's when the tears started to fall... A big Win for the Cptn this year!!!!

She then went upstairs and saw the bedding and that brought another tear.

She absolutely loved it! The best part was telling her parents that we got enough points to take them with this September!

Thanks all for your help and suggestions especially Machta for providing the litho I was unable to obtain elsewhere, this was a Christmas to remember!

Thanks and Merry Christmas!
