The TRIP of all Trips... Ana's MAW PTR... *TR STARTED* Link- Post #1901 Pg. 127

PennyLane1084, nice job on the blanket -- it is beautiful.
Yes.... it is!

All I can say is Ana is one lucky little girl.
You've got that right Kathy. It is so amazing. I know I keep using that word but it is. :wizard::wizard:

You, Melody and especially Juliana are very welcome. I'm glad she liked everything. :lovestruc:yay:
:grouphug: Oh we do! Melody was snuggled up under it tonight while watching Dancing With the Stars.. hence my DIS time!!! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Sorry Tim, you are right, your shirt is 100% manly!:lmao: A man and his dog, it's textbook testosterone!;) My mistake. It's not pretty, it's m-a-n-l-y! And I'll overlook your Yankee magnet too!

Love the sweet blanket, it does look snuggly and perfect. What a sweet gift! Cinderella was always my favorite princess as a girl too!

Do you mean to say that you don't watch Dancing with the Stars??;) I'm sort of addicted to it. Tonight they sent the wrong couple home, it should've been Bristol Palin. Make sure you tell Melody that!:goodvibes

I think what makes this so special is how sweet and truly excited and grateful Juliana is after each and every gift. Your beautiful girl deserves special things and it's awesome that big give chose her. I agree with another poster here, I'm tempted to join it myself after seeing just how wonderful it is for Juliana. As long as I don't have to sew!

Man alive! That girl is the luckiest thing girl on earth right now!!! And her smile never seems to get smaller!

Everything is beautiful, but I especially want that snuggly looking blankie!!! Afterall, Cindy does wear a tiara too. And to think it's not even bigger than mine. :lmao:

Cinderella was always Juliana's favorite. It was the first princess movie Juliana watched and she was hooked ever since. :goodvibes

DWTS is on in the background and I usually make my comments to Mel while she is watching it. Then I start cracking on the judges because they are so dramatic and over the top. But I don't watch it and I don't really care about it.

We are going to join too! I think once we get through the holidays I will contact Wendy (billwendy) and see what we can do. There is no way that I am sewing anything either!! :lmao::lmao:

Ha!! Just wait! I have a whole day with my jewels. And a stinging commentary on Disney prices to go along with them.

Sad but true. Until you realize the mark up. REmember, I used to live next door to where all that cheap crap comes from. :rolleyes1

Tied fleece blankets are da bomb! :thumbsup2 I made myself one that is Red Sox on one side and Patriots on the other.

First, love the countdown calendar!! It is too cute! Yeah for being under 30 days and counting

My grandmother went with me to the post office when I was packing it up and she fell in love with it. I think I know what her christmas present is this year:idea:. There's sort of a funny story behind the blanket:

The day I made it I was scheduled to have oral surgery to remove my wisdom teeth, 3 in one go. I knew I had some time to kill before my appointment, so I stopped at a Joann Fabrics down the street from the surgeons office and saw the blanket. I saw it and had to get it.

The night after the surgery, I had to take all my post surgery meds, which included oral steroids for swelling and some pretty heavy duty pain killers. Now I didn't realize it at the time but the pain killers had caffeine in them. So, from the oral steroids, which make me jittery as it is, the pain killers and the fact that the only thing to drink in my fridge was Moutain Dew. I was pretty hyper. :hyper:

After I drank the whole can of Dew trying to kill the gross taste of the pills, I had to DO something! That when I remembered the blanket in the next room just waiting to get worked on. I think I got that blanket finished in 30 minutes.

Think back wielding a sharp pair of fabric scissors in my narcotic induced mania was probably not the best idea. My boyfriend kept trying to convince me to sit down and relax. Now I know why he sat at his computer on the OTHER SIDE of the room. :rotfl2:

Thank you everyone for the lovely comments about the blanket! It did seems very snugglly. :lovestruc

HAHA... Great story!!! I'm glad you didn't hurt yourself while you were making the blanket! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

I had 2 wisdom teeth pulled out and I ended up with dry sockets. It was so painful! :headache: I hope your mouth is back to normal. :flower3:

Aww I love seeing all of your Big Give goodies, congrats! I love your countdown calendar too! I'd like to make one fo rour trip so thanks for the inspiration!
:welcome:

Thanks for joining!!!!

We made our calendar to be a 30 day countdown but I've seen two month calendars too. I'll have to jump over to your TR to see when you are going! :goodvibes

Yes, I'm doing much better now. Oh man dry sockets, I've heard those are the worst. One of the wisdom teeth abscessed the Saturday before my surgery and I swear it was the worst pain I've ever felt in my life.

Thank you! I need to check out your thread to see if you posted pics of Claire.

I saw your posts on the Dec canceled thread. :flower3::flower3:

I have only done the school ones. I haven't even looked at the Halloween ones yet.

It was really hard to have to cancel them. When I still had them, there was still some hope. LOL!

I love all the gifts. This is so great. I wish I could sew. I would make Claire so many things.
