What in the blazes are we doing on page two? And not just on page two, but waaaaaaaayyyyy down at the bottom!

Whew! I'm wiped out. The little family birthday party was fun, a little wild, a little loud. Poor Lainie, Ella kept coming up from behind to give her a big hug, but Lainie is a little shorter and Ella's hugs were landing right around her neck and then they would inevitably hit the floor, over and over. I think Lainie hates Ella.

But seriously, it was a fun party. My little boy will be 12 in the morning.

Thanks for all the suggestions and offers to help plan our big 2005 DL trip. We will sure need it. BUT, first I need to get through the trip I have coming up in about 2 weeks and the one in Oct. My head is starting to spin with all this planning.

The exchange thing sounds fun, not sure I completely understand who gets what, but I'll sure play along. I love to give gifts! Danauk the perfect English gift? - crumpets of course! Or a proper English tea would be lovely....

OK, I'm wiped out and my bed is calling me. Another busy day tomorrow full of more birthday celebration!

Wow, thats a first we are on the same page as when I left last night. Where is everyone?
I've just been to the local wallmart and got some English muffins and strawberry jam (I think you guys call it jelly but over here that is something totally different) so would anyone like some for breakfast. There is some Yorkshire tea brewing in the pot too (does that sound really English?)

Hey all! We finally made it! We're off to Florida!

What Lewski?! I don't get it. You have to buy all the items?! How about making a list of participants and then sending the list around. The first person buys for the second person, then the second person buys for the third, etc. We could do a product from your area. Or a gag gift that fits the person you get...? I guess the organizer would have to put all the names in a hat, have their name be the first person, then pick names in order of how it goes around.

I don't know. Just an idea.

Daniel loved his birthday gifts<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/8/8_2_81.gif' border=0></a> and his birthday breakfast (McGriddle with sausage, cheese and bacon). Haven't seen him all morning, he took his loot (mostly video games and equipment) and headed back to his bedroom. Next stop GattiTown! Anybody wanna float me a loan? You'd be surprised how fast a kid can go through a $20 game card in that arcade.

Count me in on whatever type of exchange we do. The type ohanafamily describes works well if the objects sent are small (that's why it works well for scrapping supplies...papers, stickers etc). If there are 14 exchangers you would buy13 of whatever it is you are sharing, send it to the host and that person divies up all the items and sends back to you your gift bag of 13 different items. Then there's the basic exchange where the organizer draws names for everyone, PM's you the name and address of person 'you' drew and you just send a package to that one person. I did this type at Christmas with fellow WISH DISers and it was a lot of fun to put together a gift bag for one person. I did a search on her, read lots of her posts and was able to put together some fun stuff. We could also choose a 'theme' for the items like Bichon Barb said, a product from your area. Or something Disney, or something chocolate!?!

I suggested the exchange, ohanafamily had an idea to organize and send everything to him and he would send out, BUT maybe it would be better to just do a hat pick name exchange and whoever gets whoever sends to that person only. I originally thought it would be cool if everyone in the exchange got something from everyone listed, that would be neat. It could also get expensive, depending on the number of participants. I hate to put financial restraints on people but what about a min of $15. I know that is a tad high, but I feel we are unlike other exchanges where we know one another better.

So whatever we decide, I am in!

Bichon Barb I don't know how we are gonna work it for the evening we get in cuz if I can get a flight at 7am, I'm hopping on, so I would be there. I think we'll have to coordinate that later. I think DD sounds good and maybe we could make that the night for PI with Deadheadbelle and the rest of the nutjobs who want to join us. All I know is I HAVE to have a
