Mornin' everyone!

HuggaBaloo, I would take out trip insurance. It isn't that expensive, and I know someone who had the truck stolen from tem while parked at a truck-stop. Everything she owned was lost.
Thanks for the suggestion
Ohana. Neither one of us has ever moved so far away that we had to spend the night anywhere, so we hadn't thought of that. DP has been making the plans for the truck. I asked him last night if he got that insurance and he said no. I then asked him if he thought we should get it and he just shrugged his shoulders (that usually means "yes, but I don't want to admit that I didn't think of something"). I think he's gonna look into it a little more today.
But, to be honest, I don't think he would mind if the truck got stolen. He views most of our things as
my "stuff" (actually he uses a different word, but we won't go there). He tends to be more of a minimalist when it comes to keeping things, whereas I have pretty strong packrat tendencies. For example, I was aghast and heartbroken when, on the last day of our Pop Century stay, he actually THREW AWAY his refillable mug!!!
I said: "But we might have to come back down in a week or two and we can use them again" (Shhhh...don't tell anyone).
He responded: "If we do we'll just buy new ones." (OK, so that approach wasn't going to work).
Me: "But, these are the
very first Pop Century mugs! They're collectible!" (I say that about almost everything).
DP: "So are you going to use yours at home?"
Me: "Of course."
DP: "You mean like you used the mugs from our All-Stars stays?"
Me: (Doh!) "Well, I didn't like those, they were too big. These actually fit in the car cup holders." (Yeah...that's the ticket!)
DP: "Whatever."
Me: "Don't you want a memoir of our stay? This could possibly be our last real vacation to WDW..." (cue sad puppy eyes).
DP: "Well, you can keep yours as a memoir...I'm throwing mine away."
Me: "But..."
And with that he got up from the table and threw his mug in the trash can. Like I said, I was aghast. Some people!
