Enjoyed your report. Glad you got to KONA! I would love to do a solo trip some day. DH wouldn't be too happy, though. He loves WDW as much as I do! But there seems to be something magical about seeing the world without having to worry about anyone else....and I love the DXDP but DH can't stand it. Oh well.

Now time for snacks!!!

Chocolate covered caramel with sea salt from Karamelle Kuche. This was delicious and huge!! I had it about 2 days after I got it and it was still very good.

Oreo Bon Bons from Beach Club Marketplace.

These were typically good but I was ridiculously stuffed when I ate these so I didn't even finish these.

Caramel roll from Karamelle Kuche. This was very good. Chewy caramel and not hard.

Creme brulee from Sunshine Seasons. This wasn't great. The creme part was really thick and almost gritty. It was incredibly sweet.

Honeydew kaki gori. This is refreshing but the ice was a little too hard because they probably pre scrooped the ice before I ordered. It was chunky not snowy.

Citrus swirl! This was delicious but i had a canker sore so It kind of hurt to eat this because of the orange juice. I really think I like this better than dole whip. The vanilla mixed with the tart oj is awesome! I love the iceyness mixed with the creaminess. It is a texture thing!

That is it for my pics! I leave for vacation with emmebear and Emme in 8 days!!! I am pumped. We will have so much fun. I love planning with someone that actually cares! At this time next week I will be packing!!

No dining plan for us in August. We are planning to share a lot of meals so that we will have room for snacks! I do love the DxDP on our long trips, but I am actually looking forward to a more laid back, less stuffed trip this year! Hoping to have all of the snacks you had plus many more!

I am not doing the dining plan either for the first time next week! It is a relatively short trip but I still plan on eating a lot lol. I will be sad to actually pay out of pocket for my meals. I love snacks too, i plan on eating a lot of snacks along with my meals. There are so many snacks i want to try.

One of these days I want to go ADR free.

Yes, me too. I never would have thought that until this trip. We ate QS only on Sunday and it was nice to not have to be anywhere at a specific time. And to be able to change our plans on the fly.

I have our ADRs made for August but no credit card guarantee restaurants. I do want flexibility. Can't wait to see how your trip goes!

Really enjoyed your report! I notice you said you had the chicken with coconut and mango sauces at Kona. I'm thinking about eating dinner there on our arrival day next month, but when I checked out the menu on allears, I only saw that entree listed on the lunch menu. I'm assuming it was on your dinner menu, or you wouldn't have been able to order it, right?

The filet looks goooooooood! My family & I will be in dsney may 4-9 & we have reservations at Le Cellier. You've already made up my mind as to what I'M ordering. That's why I like reading trip reports, so many great tips & reviews. Oh, I'm still laughing cause of your strawberry falling on the ground. hehe, sorry I couldn't help myself. I've been to to disney on business & did the solo thing also, so I completely understand your feelings about wandering why you're alone in disney. I enjoyed your report. Take care.
