The so-so trip..March madness is at WDW *Updated 7/27* Final thoughts

Sounds like a great dinner. I think I'm going to book us into Cape May for our last night of our trip. I haven't decided on a place and we're staying at the Beach Club so I think that sounds awesome!

I like your hat!

It was very good. 2nd time and no problems there and have been asked to put it on the list for December. Hope you enjoy it.

Thanks.

I got us 6:55 for the last night! :thumbsup2 Hopefully I won't put on as much weight in this next trip as I did on the last couple!

@MeMom...that was me you saw running through the theater...I never stay for the movie..ahahaha

We usually don't, either. Every so often we will stay and watch. I did in March when I just had a friend with me and not the little girls. She enjoyed it, and now I don't have to see it again for a while. I do enjoy the movies at all of the WS countries. Makes me feel like I have 'been there' for a few minutes.

Day 4 is upon us and my knee is KILLING me. I said let’s hang out around the room and see if it gets better. We did that and I sat outside on the balcony and watched the buses going to the parks and around 2pm I decided I was good to go so we decided to go out.

I can relate to the knee issues. It's so annoying to want to be going like normal, but you are in such pain that you just can't do it.

The last time I was at that Hollywood Studios boat dock was when a tornado was coming through there back in March. That was when the tree cracked and fell into the Tower of Terror queue.

Love all of your nighttime pictures. :)

Cape May has been on my list for a while. Maybe next time! Glad you guys enjoyed it again. :thumbsup2

The pictures that you took along the way to the Beach Club are so pretty! I almost booked us a one night stay there for our upcoming trip but simply couldn't justify the cost just to, basically, sleep there before heading to the CBR.

The Cape May food looks really delish! I could go for anything on your plate right now as the peanut butter and crackers that I had earlier have long since worn off.

:lmao: I hear that. I actually watched what I was doing last time. The time before I gained 8 lbs in 1 week.

it is very annoying but a day rest was good and I enjoy those. LOL
:scared1: I remember hearing of that tornado on Facebook all over the place. That would have been scary.

Thank you.
Thank you.
:thumbsup2

I'm at work and just laughed outloud at the Jurassic Park reference! :lmao:
:lmao: I really did think it. I have a warped mind.

It is very pricey. I would want more than 1 night. I would try to rent points and do dvc if we are out next time for there.
it was good. :lmao: that would have worn off me within 5 minutes.

I love that CMC gives cards. Denny and I got one for our anniversary! It was so cute!

Nice pictures of the Beach Club and YC.

Love the DVC hat! :thumbsup2

I love Cape May! The problem I have is that I feel like I have to eat a ton(especially the crab legs :)) to make it worth the cost, then I'm miserable for the next few hours ::yes:: That sauce with the roast really is delicious - some kind of horseradish sauce I think!

Enjoyed reading your report. I was especially interested because we are planning a trip for March and have never been in March before. What week were you there? It doesn't look like it was super crowded in your pictures. We are going the 16-22. I am really looking forward to the Flower and Garden Show! Love your pictures!!!!

I was very surprised I got it and it was very nice and cute. I have it here on my desk.
Thanks.
Thanks. :)

I have felt like that but If I enjoy it then I am good with the cost. I love in NYC where a meal is very pricey. :lmao:
It was made with it and it was so good.

Thanks. 4 more days to post. LOL
In the beginning it was busy because of cheerleaders. It was a lot more crowded then we expected but this year is turning out that way. Just look for when spring break starts, then it gets busier.

Now that's a money shot! What a fabulous photo!

Glad you enjoyed your dinner. I see that you didn't touch the crab legs - not a fan? I would definitely go for the shrimp and the beef. That was a nice touch that they presented you with a birthday cupcake.

That's a great photo of the pool at AKL.... you are freaking me out with the Jurassic Park talk, now I'm looking for glowing eyes in the darkness.

You were resting your knee, but were you keeping it elevated and icing it? And taking your non-steroidal anti-inflammatories? (Advil, Motrin, Alleve??)

(Nursey-nurse here is worried!)

I am not a fan of crab legs or lobster claws. I like the meat to be easy to get to. :rotfl2: It was nice he brought that out to me.
:rotfl: That is really what I was thinking the entire time. It creeped me out.

OOPS! No icing but did have it up on a chair and did have aleve.
:rotfl: Thanks for worrying.

Thanks. More to come. it was an okay trip.

It was moving day and we were so happy to get away from Kidani. I called down and asked them to send someone and send our luggage over to POP. They were there very quickly. Once they took our bags and lockers we were on our way. Which park would we go to? Well I think the title says which one but first we were to have breakfast.

We walked over to Jambo House.

I believe this is outside Jiko.

Then we were here.

We both had the same meal.
Bounty Platter - scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, small Mickey-shaped waffle, biscuit $8.79

Here is a pic of mine. If you would like to see Vinny’s take the OJ out and put in a cup of coffee. LOL

It was a good meal and soon we were on our way. Here is the time we were leaving.

I think it was this day or the day before that as I was waiting at the bus stop we ran into someone I met on the mouse owners board. It was a very nice surprise to see him there. Hi Brian.

Back to the story. While waiting there I took a pic. I think it was right after I saw him.

Soon enough we were here.

I love this park for the safari and the photo opportunities.

First up as we entered we saw birds.

Next up we came to.

I have never seen them so active. LOL. Usually they are lying down in the back.

Soon we were seeing this beauty.

Then we went to see the flamingos.

NO PHOTOS PLEASE! They always act like this when I come by.

There we go.

Then we walked over towards Africa to see how long of a wait the safari was.

It seems a lot of people thought the same thing.

Then we got there and we saw the wait time.

I think I will stop here.

UP next,

Do we ride it?

It seems to me breakfast potatoes are so iffy - either very good or very horrible, not anywhere in the middle. When they have been sitting a while, the texture and temperature, in my opinion, are gross. But when they are good, they are delicious!

Me, too. ::yes::

Then we went to see the flamingos.

Good. Everyone should see flamingos every trip. It's a Bella thing.

I sure hope so, because I want pictures! :cool1:

Scott, I had no idea about this report. I just read it up to the last entry and am loving it. The pictures are spectacular. You guys are like us...we like to stay at the resort and just relax...it gives us renewed energy to hit the parks.

You are doing great on the weight loss...keep it up. :thumbsup2
