The Smiths are Heading Back...For 10 Days of Disney Magic! (Updated 8/16)

'tis true but you didn't answer my question on what you do with your old camera!

It's sitting on my kitchen island. Don't know what to do with it really. I was planning to just keep it but seriously, how often will I actually USE it???

Let's talk CS people! I need help. I posted about this on the DIS Weight Loss group on FB so sorry if you've heard it but I became really ill, really fast after cheating for Randy's bday weekend. Well that got me thinking about WDW. How am I going to handle eating "bad" park food? I admit it...I tend to get burger/fries at CS places (i'm thinking TS will be sightly easier). I rarely even look at the menu. SOOOOO I need CS suggestions. Places you love, places to avoid. Things that taste good but are not burgers/fries. Help me come up with a list please :worship:

It's my "baby" niece's 19th birthday today :scared: When did I get so old??? Here is a pic of me, my dad (rocking some fab early 90s fashion) and I with her on her first trip to Disneyland

I tend to get chicken nuggets at CS places mainly because they are so good! But I know Columbia Harbour House @ MK has alternatives. There is always Sunshine Seasons @ Epcot, Yak & Yeti @ AK and I can't think of anywhere at DHS.

For MK-- I love the rotisserie chicken and mashed potatoes at Cosmic Rays. Sunshine Seasons has a ton of great options. Would pizza make you feel sick? We LOVE Pizza Planet, especially since you can get a nice healthy side salad. I think Pizzafari offers the same option. I've never had it, but I know people love the pulled pork sandwich at Flame Tree BBQ.

MK - We love Columbia Harbour House! Fish, Shrimp, etc. I also agree with Cosmic Rays - they have a rotisserie chicken, BBQ ribs, potato, green bean platter that was enough to share. I also think they have salads and wraps.

Epcot - FW - We really like Sunshine Seasons and it has tons of options and it should be easy to find something there - asian, salads, flatbreads/sandwiches, grilled stuff.
WS - I have not eaten at these places but I would think Yakitori House in Japan or Tangeriene Cafe in Morocco would offer healthier options.

DHS - I think it is called Studio Catering Company - right beside Jedi Training Academy. They have wraps and grilled sandwiches. I agree too with Pizza Planet - their pizzas and salads are good!

AK - Flame Tree BBQ has good options but I was not impressed when we ate there. I would probably do a salad or pizza and salad combo at Pizzafari.

Those are my two cents! Good luck deciding!

Happy birthday to your Niece :lovestruc
My sisters twins turned 19 this yr too :sad2:
no idea on food sorry. I am freaked out on how to feed Jason, he can't have corn which is in everything :rolleyes1

Hmmmm, this one is hard for me! I will admit I am a burgers and fries CS kinda girl, too. The first place that came to mind was Sunshine Seasons, though - their rotisserie chicken is really good. :thumbsup2

Thanks all! Great ideas! Keep them coming if anyone thinks of anything. I really just want to eat burgers and fries for the record though :rotfl2:

Happy Cinco de Mayo!

We went to our favorite Mexican restaurant for dinner. Seriously we go there almost once a week. Tonight they gave me the tshirt and Randy the hat that the staff are wearing when we walked in. I seriously changed my shirt at the table...and that was before the margarita ;) :rotfl: Pic up on FB of my new Cinco de Mayo VIP shirt :rotfl2:

I'm loving hearing all the options myself!! I just came back from Disney and somedays I just couldn't handle the food!! So I'm definitely excited to see all of these options and add them to my own list!!

Love your VIP Cinco de Mayo shirt!

We have a Japanese restaurant that we frequent - we went in one time without Jordan and the owner asked "where's the girl?"

Glad you liked the food suggestions! I love a good burger and fries too but over a week variety is definitely needed!

Wasn't I stylin? :rotfl2: See we have the opposite issue. Lindo is more of an adult place for us (I typically don't drink in front of Ash). But a couple of weeks ago we took her (in a desperate attempt to get her to try something new) and the staff was clearly so confused. I think they just assumed we were childless :rolleyes1 That's the same night that I posted on FB that they asked me if I was sick because I didn't want a margarita :rotfl:

You were stylin! LOL on the Lindo story! So did Ash try something new? Jordan likes cheese quesadillas - so impressive right - just a grilled cheese on a tortilla but hey it's progress!

She did! She had tacos. They brought her all the toppings on the side so she could make them like she wanted and she LOVED it! They got 2 thumbs up which is rare for Ash!

I want to see this Cinco de Mayo picture! Post it here (since I am no longer on FB). I looooove Cinco de Mayo. It's also mine and Miguel's anniversary. :thumbsup2
