Okay this is getting ridiculous. I will no longer try and make the end of my updates suspenseful for fear of what my family will get up to as a result.

Great Update Lessa !! Sorry for not being around much!! Work has been cutting into my Dis time along with having bronchitis which is tiring me out !! I come home and am in bed early !!
Those Bros of yours sure know how to ruin a Cliffhanger ,I had visions of them being some sort of mortal peril and here they were within 4 feet!! Your Cliff hanger was much better !! Now who went to the hospital and for what !!??

Well see it wasn't Alek that had to go to the hospital it was me. It turns out that my rash was really a rare fungal disease that I came into contact with while in the Animal Kingdom. One of the plants they planted there caused my bizarre outbreak. I had to get all sorts of shots as it turns out that the rash was only the first symptom of a very deadly disease, I very nearly died! We then proceeded to sue the pants off of Disney and none of us will ever have to work again due to the large settlement we got from them.

As has already been revealed thanks to Alek, the boys were really not up to any trouble at all, they were just off in the distance taking pictures of all the Tiki statues.

We did not have dinner reservations for any of the restaurants here, instead we were going to be dining at Captain Cook's, the Poly's counter service location. I had no idea where it was located though so we had to look around for signs. It was not hard to find at all, it is located on the first floor of the main building down the hall from the Boutiki.

When we got there it was deserted, we were the only customers. To place your order you have to use a touch-screen menu. It was very easy to use. I ordered the pepperoni flatbread, Mom had the bbq pork sandwich and Alek and Erich had burgers. We also ordered a Dole Whip to share. After placing your order on the touch screen menu you get a receipt that you then take to the cash register. They will give you the cups for your drinks and also the bowl for the Dole Whip and provided a pager to alert us when our food was ready. I waited inside for the food while the others went to grab a table. Since it was once again sunny Mom decided to grab a table outside.

The food did not take long to be ready and soon we were chowing down. After only a few minutes a bee decided to start buzzing around. Alek is allergic and well they just plain freak me out so we moved to a table inside to get away from it. I think we were all satisfied with our food, the flatbread was amazing! Much better than the pizza they serve in the parks.

Once we were done with our food it was time for the Dole Whip! It is a self-serve machine so you just take your bowl up and fill it up as much as you want. That thing was overflowing when we were done with it!

Our bellies full it was time to explore a bit. The Poly is such a beautiful resort, I absolutely love it! We were all taking pictures so here is a mish-mash of them, not sure who took what but that doesn't really matter.

It was nice and sunny at the Poly but the sky over the MK looks rather ominous doesn't it?

I wandered down the beach a bit and found a hammock, it was so comfy! I could have laid in that thing all day, so relaxing!

Erich eventually wandered over and relaxed in the hammock next to mine.

We all simply loved the Poly and we have decided that we are definitely staying there the next time the four of us go down in a couple years. I think the time we spent relaxing on the Poly Beach was my favourite part of the day. I can't wait to stay there!

After a while we decided we should head back to the MK if we wanted to catch the 7pm Dreams Come True Parade (it was being shown twice a day while we were there due to Spectro not being run).

We decided to take the boat back to the MK and were the only ones on it. It was a nice short ride over and very relaxing.

We got through bag check quickly, for whatever reason Erich decided to take a picture of the process.

When we went through the train station and out onto Main St we saw a bunch of characters out for pictures. We got really excited when we saw who they were. Mom told us to go get our pictures taken and she would grab us a spot for the parade.

We jumped in line for one character but then saw another one nearby who had a much shorter line so we decided to go over there instead. Who was this character? Why it was Prince John!

Since there was no photopass there we had to take turns getting our picture taken. First Alek and Erich:

Prince John must have liked me as he kissed my hand.

After getting our picture with Prince John we looked around to see if we could spot Mom. We quickly located her, she had grabbed us a primo spot for the parade. Right in the middle of town square so that we were looking right down Main St towards the castle.

Having located Mom we decided to jump in line for another character. Who could it possibly be?

I think that the kids and I realized that we all needed to take a break from the stress and hussle & bussle of Disney and just wanted to get R & R; for the Poly on our next trip, I agree, the beach was just TOO inviting, I don't think anyone wanted to leave that afternoon/evening.

Yeah the Poly is a bit pricey, we have a few years to save up for it though and maybe we will get lucky and get another 40% code.

That is my guess, not as many guests at the hotel and alternate dining options probably make it less crowded. Not to mention it is on the monorail so Poly guests have easy access to all the other dining options. When we stayed at the Wilderness Lodge I never saw Roaring Forks busy.
