Well, all caught up again!
The Tiki Birds has sentimental value for me since I remember it from early trips as a kid. It was unique then, now a bit outdated but a classic.
I remember being really entertained by the Tiki Birds when we went to Disney the first time in the 70's. The animal animatronics was so cool at that age, and something so new at least to me. Seems like I remember the original being open air, without the walls. Am I remembering correctly or was that some other "bird show" I'm remembering???
Shoot the 3 of us have fun running through the Piggly Wiggly looking for snacks.
I Dig the Pig!

Helped put me through my first two years of college.
First thing in the morning Single rider line was not open so we jumped in the regular line. How long could it be? My only mistake of the trip. Our longest wait at 30 minutes. Yup, that was our longest wait the entire trip and it was on our last ½ day in the parks.
Longest line of 30 minutes, and only your final day??? Not bad at all. And looks like you had a great time on RnR and ToT!!!
We got there and all ride times were too long. Now what? I had an idea. It was cold out so maybe the tigers were active. Off to the Maharajah Jungle Trek.
Great tiger pics! Haven't seen them that active before. If we make it back on a cold day.......
After watching for a while we watch this tiger. He thinks he has some privacy.
Now like most toddlers he checks to see if we can see him.

Reminds me of my kids when they were little hiding behind a chair and peeking out to see if you saw them while they had this red face and pained expression.....
Taking that last deep breath and we get in the car. We head out and head home about 1pm.
The ride home was uneventful. We stopped for gas ( for the car Glenn, Dan and Marv) and a meal at the same place we did on the way down. I drove and B kept me awake on the ride. I think I dropped them off at 10:30pm and I got home a little after 11 pm.
And then the gas???
Now the question of the TR. This really was the start of the side effect of the annual pass. I had this pass that was good until Oct 16 2010. Of course I had to get the most of my pass. So there are more trips.
Do I start an new thread or since I have plenty of room here do we just get comfy and continue???
You know us; we'll be here either way.........well, some more often than others!!!
This woman needs to make sure she does not spill her drink on herself.
It is funny watching some people whose arms seem to be attached and work together. Love the ones who can't put one arm up while holding the other one down, then as they tilt their camera they also tilt their other hand and end up with drinks all over them before they realize they are even doing it!!! Seen it a few times before myself.
Why dont I trust him????
Nice parade pics! And I haven't ever found myself trusting him either!
Dont worry I will spare you from watching the parade from the other side.
Well just a couple
Chip and Dale and a guy with arms coming out of his head.

on the guy with arms coming out of his head!!!
Thanks the ankle and knees seem good today. When I came home tonight I had my DS's car so I parked at the street and when I got out of the car with my arms full...
I ALMOST DID IT AGAIN !!!! I caught myself before I completely rolled it. After that it actually feels a little better.
Sorry you are having problems with Lotso and Jealous, and wow on almost rolling that ankle again! Glad you seem to have found a solution on the knees, and congrats on pushing through the pain so you can reach your goal!
I was never built for running.

Being a swimmer was a bit safer but judging by the injuries acquired, not so much. Gravity in general is not my friend. <insert aging related gravity joke here>
I would, but then it would hit a little too close to home......
Did my run - finally up to 6min walk and 3 min run and I kept that pace no problem and Lotso and Jealous are NOT MAD.
I think I could do that.....well, if you made it 6 min walk and 3 min walk!!!

You are right. I always remind myself that most tasks involve overcoming inertia, it is the process of getting moving that is the hardest, not the moving itself.
In my case it is normally friction! You know, the one between the seat of my pants and the fabric on the couch!!!
