If you keep the possible planning for a Wrigley field Dan & Marv meet on the boards maybe it will fall on one of our trips and I can witness this historic meeting.

Wow, I was way behind. I am caught up now. It looks like you and your friends were having a great time. We are thinking about being at WDW for NYE this year so I'm glad it isn't insanely crowded in all the parks.

There were crowds. At one point, maybe at EPCOT? Jill noticed a 240 minute wait at Soarin'. I know we saw it too but we were able to evade the crowds.
EMH was our friend and we just zigged while everyone else zagged.

Maybe you can go toward the end of the week and stay on after New Year's Day. I suspect the crowds die down quite a bit then.

I would assume Sunday the first this year things will die down and Mon- Thurs should be real light. I think the next weekend might be the marathon so it will pick back up a little on Thursday.

Last I left you we were summoned by the CM to the 11am show of FOLK. I am always up to see the FOLK. You see I have this slight ... Ok so it is a not so slight THING for the tumble monkeys.

Actually I think on this trip I discovered that not all tumble monkeys are created equal. With the low lighting of this show I always have a hard time getting decent pictures. I want to enjoy the show. I try to just put the camera down and enjoy the show. So I have no pictures
















I make it as far as the tumble monkeys again. These are the only ones that look half way decent.

I get a hold of myself and vow to do what I can to get better pictures next time. that alone should serve as a warning.

I enjoy the show as do my friends. We make our way out with the masses and start the walk back to the main path.

On the way out we have time for pictures. B points out the garbage can.

I have since learned (Thanks Flossbolna) that the meet and greet area also has trees decorated “by the characters” that are in that area. Next time.

I notice this child sitting on the wall. Um where are her parents???

Thanks for the help Dan. Our local HD doesn't have that model apparently! Wondering if it would be cheaper to drive up to Glenn's and bring one like it back, or pay the shipping to have it sent???

Of course if I drove up to Glenn's I could possibly (slight chance anyway) beat Magdalene and Pat on a Judy sighting!!!

I did look online and I found a heavy duty one but HD wants $45 shipping on a $19.97 shovel.

If you have one of those olde timey hardware stores - the old feed shops they may have one. I have to go to ours to get more salt for the next storm and I will look.

Hard to believe we need to make a road trip to get a "real" shovel.

I mean, if we lived in Fl I could understand but we actually get snow.

The bus trips that we take each year has their group tickets ordered for the year. I don't have the list in front of me, but I know we have 5 day trips and 5 overnighters - one of the overnighters is in Milwaukee. We have a Yankees day game, White Sox day game, 3 different trips where we are playing Houston (not sure the breakdown on day games and overnighters), one overnighter against St Louis - and ......well, 3 more that I can't remember offhand. sounds like a full schedule and some good games. the 13 game pack they offered me was some good one as well, sounds about like the games you got.

but it would have cost us way to much this year and we just couldnt spend that.
