The Side effects of the AP-Trip#6 Oct 10 Final thoughts and some TMI

Love to get one of those "real" snow shovels! The one I found at the local Home Depot seems a little more flimsy than I hoped. :sad2:

Maybe Glenn or Dan can get you one? :) They live up in snow country with "real" shovels.

The ice pretty much tore up any shovel we bought down here. I think I have had this shovel over 10 years. Of course I only get it out once or twice a year and not every year. :rotfl2:

I've never so much as stepped foot in Pizzafari, so thanks for the pictures. I think I figure I can get pizza anywhere, so opt for something else. Plus, we've brought sandwiches into the park on a couple of AK days.

That picture with the cat does look like a fun time. I'm glad that you and your friends were enjoying yourselves. :)

Just going in to see the art is worth it. Each room is themed different and murals are amazing.

They serve breakfast too so that is what we had that morning.

IMO, AK has the best Christmas tree. Loved your pics of it!

Wonder what was up with that guy? The tags left on is just weird.. But they do look like nice shoes. ;)

Love the restroom pics! Really, I do. It looks fun in there. The group cat pic is just hilarious, too! You're all having so much fun!

Yay for FOTLK!!

The AK tree was one of my favorites too!

I tried to get closer but I couldn't quite hear any of the conversation.
There was discussion going and it seemed like the CM's were trying to help him in some way but they were clearly leading him and the papers they had were part of the report. I know the shoes were "off" from the rest of his outfit. I can't imagine him falling in anywhere where his shoes would get wet unless it was Kali and well I don't think they would get you new shoes if they got wet on Kali. :lmao:

We did have fun. All the unusal theming in bathrooms, garbage cans etc is what makes WDW special. They go above and beyond to enhance the experience.

OK - I'm finally all caught up, you may continue now

I missed it, was this 2nd trip 2009? You had many of the same Storytellers as we did.

Yup 2009. The Oct trip and this NYE trip is what prompted the Annual pass but if you hang in there you will see things got a bit out of control having that pass. :rotfl2: Hence the side effect. ;)

I enjoyed the storytellers and almost approached the family tonight about NYE this year. It is still too early to bring it up. :rolleyes1 No one in the family but me cares to plan 11 months in advance.

I love the Photopass Pic of you three with Stitch popping out of the present! You have perfect facial expressions!

and a CM was trying to gather an audience for the 11 am show of Festival of the Lion King. They looked at me for guidance and I told them it was a good show. The decision was made, we head that way since we will walk right in.

And this was NYE?!?!?!?! WHAT IN THE WORLD?! and no one in line for the safari???? We opted to not do any parks that day because we figured it would be wall-to-wall people, but I guess not! :confused3 You are the planner extraordinaire!

GREAT shot in front of the cat. :lmao: I can just picture it all!!!

I have had my fair share of these or just blank screens lately.

Me too. :sad2: Usually you can push your "back" button and everything is fine.

breakfast at pizzafari? Who knew?

Love the cat pictures. I'd smile too, you look like you are all having a blast!

Love the picture of the three of you at Pizzafari! :lmao::rotfl::rotfl2:

I wonder who that guy was (or what he had done) that the CMs were escorting to the front. Very mysterious!

I can do goofy pictures easy!!! :rotfl2:

YUP NYE- I was amazed that it ws empty. But I guess if people wanted in a park for NYE the choices were the other 3 since they all had shows and AK didn't. Planning .... a little, luck ....a lot! :rotfl2:

It is taking so long so I go "back" often but I always open yet another window because 95% of time it goes through or I get a crazy double post like I did on your thread. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

why didnt i ever think to leave the tags on my clothes, tell people it is a new style then return them after a few weeks
:headache:

a shovel for poor old man marv

i have one just like this and it works great easier on the back to lift the snow, with the curved design

Thanks for the help Dan. Our local HD doesn't have that model apparently! Wondering if it would be cheaper to drive up to Glenn's and bring one like it back, or pay the shipping to have it sent??? :confused3

Of course if I drove up to Glenn's I could possibly (slight chance anyway) beat Magdalene and Pat on a Judy sighting!!! :rotfl:

As tempting as that sounds, Dan, I think I will wait until the weather gets a little warmer!!! Maybe I can locate a shovel on clearance!!! :thumbsup2

Of course, that would also mean baseball season. I've been to a number of Major League parks, but never Wrigley! Wouldn't a DISmeet in the bleacher seats be :cool1: ? :thumbsup2

I'd like to know the story on the guys shoes....

Psssst new TR has started. First link in the siggie!

well that does sound like a great plan to me, if you are serious about this let me know, tickets will go on sale pretty soon up here.

i got an email last week for a 13 game ticket plan but had to turn it down to pricey this year.

but single games should be out within a month.

one year i did the 9 game plan and made paid for almost all of the other 8 games with the profit i made on my cubs sox tickets.

candi and i were just talking the other day about if we were going to get tickets to a game this year or not.

.

The bus trips that we take each year has their group tickets ordered for the year. I don't have the list in front of me, but I know we have 5 day trips and 5 overnighters - one of the overnighters is in Milwaukee. We have a Yankees day game, White Sox day game, 3 different trips where we are playing Houston (not sure the breakdown on day games and overnighters), one overnighter against St Louis - and ......well, 3 more that I can't remember offhand. If you keep the possible planning for a Wrigley field Dan & Marv meet on the boards maybe it will fall on one of our trips and I can witness this historic meeting. :thumbsup2

Wow, I was way behind. I am caught up now. It looks like you and your friends were having a great time. We are thinking about being at WDW for NYE this year so I'm glad it isn't insanely crowded in all the parks.

Maybe you can go toward the end of the week and stay on after New Year's Day. I suspect the crowds die down quite a bit then.
