The Sea Witch Stole My Voice! Our Two Week Land and Sea Adventure! COMPLETE 4/12

Relaxing in the hammock on that beautiful day was wonderful but I didn't want to ditch Mom for too long so after 20 minutes or so I got up and started to make my way back.

The sign says that bikes are $6 an hour and you can also rent floats for the water for $6.

Now as I was walking along the path on the way back to our spot on the family beach I heard a rustling in the bushes and then a woman walking next to me screamed bloody murder as a large furry creature came running out of the bushes and right in front of us! :scared1:

As I was strolling along making my way back to our beach chairs there was a rustling in the bushes and the lady walking next to me started to scream in terror. What could cause such terror? It was a fearsome beast to be sure! One would never think to find one roaming the tropical paradise of Castaway Cay. It ran across the path in front of us showing no fear, the furry beast! I remained calm, after all if I didn't scream and freak out when a rat was crawling up my leg surely I could remain calm in this situation. You are probably asking yourself what this fearsome beast could possibly have been to strike such fear into the heart of my fellow vacationer. Well, it was .......

Nought but a wee cuddly kitty cat!:rotfl:

The lady felt rather foolish for freaking out over a cat. She said she didn't even know what it was when it came running out of the bushes. All she saw was a large black animal. :rotfl2:

He/She was pretty friendly and let me pet him. It was so strange seeing a cat on Castaway Cay. The only thing I can think of is that it belonged to one of the few CM's who live on the island.

After petting the cat and taking a few pictures I left it to continue its nap.

I found Mom relaxing in the water so I went and hung out with her in the water for a while. It was so nice and warm and relaxing.

We decided to go grab some lunch as we were getting pretty hungry. Cookie's BBQ has several "pods" you can go to, I believe they all serve the same food. Of course Mom and I choose the one that was running low so my food pics are not that great.

The food was good, nothing spectacular but it was tasty and filling. We finished the meal off with some of the super yummy cookie dough soft serve.

On the way back to our chairs we saw a crab race being conducted.

I had planned to move over to Serenity Bay for the second half of the day but one look at the sky told me that probably wasn't going to happen...
