:worship::worship::worship:...I bow to the Queen of Disney Trip Organization!....:worship::worship::worship:

'K, srsly?....if I didn't have so much fun planning my own trips, I'd hire YOU to do it for me!! Love the binder! Love the custom autograph books!! (You would think as an avid scrapbooker I'd come up with more ideas like that on my own....:confused3)

.

Darn it, we're not at any of the same places on the same night. But, it looks like a couple nights we'll be at nearby resorts. You'll be at the Contemporary when we're at the Poly and then you'll be at the Poly when we're at the GF!

June 23--No adr, but I think we're gonna possibly get ice cream at Ghiradelli's or Beaches and Cream.: We don't have an ADR this night either!

June 24--Crystal Palace: 5:00pm: We'll be at Mama Melrose at 4 p.m.

June 25--Captain's Grille: 5:45pm: We'll be at Chef Mickey's at 7:55 p.m.

June 26--Grand Floridian Cafe: 7:00pm: We'll be at CRT at 7:10 p.m.

June 27--Chef Mickey's: 7:05pm: We'll be at the late Luau at 8 p.m.

June 28--Kona Cafe: 6:55pm: We'll be at 1900 PF at 6:25 p.m.

June 29--Liberty Tree Tavern: 4:35pm: We'll be at Olivia's at 6 p.m.

June 30--Princess Storybook: 6:55pm: We'll be at Tony's at 6:30 p.m.

How cool, we have have exact same travel dates, different resorts, but the dates are the same! :goodvibes Just wanted to share..now back to your awesome PTR!

Love your PTR so far.

Disney box....need to start that.
:)

It's fun to peek into and realize it's coming closer!

I can't wait to read more. popcorn:: Love the spreadsheet. And must say I may take the idea for the near future trip.

You are welcome to!

I took someone else's idea for that, but I did take a few steps further with it. We scrapbookers always pull from others!

I love organizing, but I don't think I would like it so much if I had to do it for others. I do stuff like that knowing how much easier my life will be when I get there. You'll have to see how I organize the hotel room. :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

Dude. We're still gonna have to exchange numbers and meet up. I can't wait to post the pictures of my dress for my daughter's birthday. I got the idea from the picture you posted of your luau dress. It was too cute!

How cool, we have have exact same travel dates, different resorts, but the dates are the same! :goodvibes Just wanted to share..now back to your awesome PTR!

Wow! There are going to be a lit of disser's there at the same time! We'll have to all plan for a meet at DTD or something one evening! :yay:

I used to buy clothes online all the time. Cahdwicks was my favorite online store. But after a couple of years of paying off that Chadwicks card, I lost my taste for online shopping. I still shop online some, but not to the extent I once did. But free shipping, 20% off my purchase, and $14.99 for childrens' Disney crocs at Crocs.com were too difficult pass up. So, for less than $70, I bought 4 pairs of crocs (adults were $17.99 before the discount), croc butter to keep them clean, and three pairs of socks.

Aren't they cute? Mine are the blue ones, Danny's are the red ones, Caroline's are the light pink ones, and Courtney's are the Fuschia ones.

So, now that we have great shoes--each of us has 2 pairs of Crocs, 2 pairs of flip flops, and a pair of tennis shoes, on to my last clothing purchase before the trip.

First of all, if you haven't taken a gander at my girl, Tinkgurl's PTR, ya really need to go. The idea for these outfits came from a dress Tinkgurl is wearing to the Luau, found here: http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=31024619&postcount=925

I decided, hey, it would be cute of the four of us (the kids and I) had similar outfits for Caroline's birthday!

So, here we go. I took a little trip to Old Navy this week, because of the advertised prices on their sundresses. I spent more than I expected to, but I love my purchases. My dress is a pink and orange floral dress. I tried it on last night and dh commented that it looked like the most comfortable thing I've purchased for this trip:

Taking the pink and orange and going with it, Danny has a cute orange outfit and the girls have matching pink dresses. All of us have matching flip flops.

I could not stop with just one dress. I was thinking of hot Florida nights after walking the park all day and how it would be nice to wear a loose fitting dress after a hot day. So I got these. I first could not resist a dress so close to lime green! I'm a Disser at heart.

And this one is downright adorable. . .

I also figure with a nice light sweater, I can wear these to church in the summer here.

So, that's it. All shopping completed with the exception of getting a new toothbrush for everyone, bug repellant, sunscreen, and bottled water. Up coming: Itinerary planning, 101.

Oh my gosh, those light pink ones are adorable!

I'm mentioned in a post?! :dance3: You are awesome, girl.

All those dresses are gorgeous and beautiful. You got them at Old Navy? Reminds me of the new commericals they're having with the talking mannequins. Like the one where her dress gets ripped off and she goes "What? Like you've never seen plastic before." :lmao:

For colossial packing power in an itty-bitty packing space, buy Space Bags.

Now, back to our regularly scheduled pre-trip report and the next episode: SHOPPING!

What a fantastic Aladdin reference. I promise not to be a lurker and subscribe. It looks like you have a great trip in the works.

Drop by my pre-trippie when you get a chance.:)

Those light pink ones are just like our little Boo.

Of course I have to mention the person who gave me the idea. I decided I wanted a dress with a kind of Luau feel, even though we'll be in EPCOT. I also figured that would be a good Christmas card picture--me and the kids in front of Mission:SPACE and all of us in orange and pink.

I love those Old Navy commercials, too! And yes, I got the dresses at Old Navy. ON is the only store that sells 8Slim pants that fit my son perfectly. He is really, really, really, bony. Really. :lmao:

:welcome: Thanks for the compliment! I'm so glad someone got that reference! :rotfl: There is a whole story about Aladdin that I'll have to share in my next installment.

And I'm over to visit your PTR! I love reading each other's plans and borrowing ideas (and giving credit where it's due, as well!)

That would be a gorgeous Christmas card pic!

Wow! What great finds. :goodvibes
Shopping for a Disney vacation is half the fun! I must admit, I have already started planning which outfits I am going to wear on certain days.
I try and tell DF that it is completely normal... :rolleyes1

Hmm . . . I don't think it's odd at all. I pull out the suitcases once a week (we have already set aside the kids' good summer clothes so they won't ruin them) and I decide if there are different outfits I can put together. So no, I don't think it's odd at all!

Decisions, decisions. . .

We have four choices to make for our first night. . .

1. Ghiradellis and Epcot for Illuminations
2. Ghiradellis and Hollywood Studios for Fantasmic!
3. Beaches and Cream and Epcot for Illuminations
4. Beaches and Cream and Hollywood Studios for Fantasmic!

So what should I do?

We currently have this plan and I'm leaning towards number 4, but this is our plan:

First Night--well, you see the choices

Second Day--Magic Kingdom

Third Day--Hollywood Studios

Fourth Day--Animal Kingdom (1/2 Day)

Fifth Day--Epcot

Sixth Day--Animal Kingdom

Seventh Day--Magic Kingdom

Eighth Day--Typhoon Lagoon and Epcot

Ninth Day--No park

So, DHS is the only park we are only going to once. Epcot on the 8th day is for evening EMH. What would ya'll do? Come on! I need ideas!

Choice #4 sounds so good to me. Beaches and Cream looks good and there's no better way to start off a trip than Fantasmic! :wizard:

See, that's what I'm thinking. . .on the second day we are there, we can do touring during Fantasmic! and most likely deal with lighter crowds if so many people are at Fantasmic!

Or at least that's the plan that is in my head. . .

I vote for Ghiradellis AND Beaches & Cream, skip the shows, and go to bed.:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Once I get someplace I'm fine. Really, I am, but if I don't have an idea of how to get there, I flip out. I mean pure-tee panic sets in. I gotta know. I just gotta. Since I've planned where I wanna go, I guess I need to also plan how to get there.

Oh, and FYI, Beaches and Cream and Fantasmic! won out for the first night. . .:rolleyes1 I just hope with increased crowd levels, we'll be able to get in the park. At least EMH at Epcot is pulling crowds away. . .

So here we go:

Day 1--Travel Day--Beaches and Cream followed by Hollywood Studios.
Bus to Epcot; walk to Boardwalk; walk to Hollywood Studios; bus to POR

Day 2--Magic Kingdom--Bus to MK

Day 3--Hollywood Studios; Dinner at Yacht Club
Bus to DHS; boat to Yacht Club; boat to DHS; Bus to POR

Day 4--Bkfst at Grand Floridian, Animal Kingdom, Dinner at Grand Floridian
Bus to MK; Monorail to GF; Bus to AK; Bus to GF; Monorail to MK; bus home

Day 5--Epcot; dinner at Contemporary
Bus to Epcot; Monorail to CR; Walk to MK; bus to POR

Day 6--Animal Kingdom; dinner at Poly
Drive

Day 7--Magic Kingdom
Bus to MK

Day 8--Typhoon Lagoon/Epcot
Drive to TL; Bus to Epcot

Day 9--Leave--bkfst at POLY
Drive

I know day 4 is complicated and I just may drive. . .

Hey, since you just posted on my PTR I wanted to come over and read yours. Your plans sound good to me. I would do Fantasmic the first night too, it's my favorite night show!
