Petals is the only bar at Pop. There used to one inside, but it never had people at it..

I think since you have the Territory Lounge near Artist Point that they probably close the pool bar plus it was soo cold. I bet it's open later when it's warmer. Trout Pass is probably better for smokers since you said they had a great smoking area near there.

You know, I bet you're right - we never went in Territory Lounge but there were always people in there and there were never many people by the pool at night. Plus you could always get beer or wine from Roaring Forks and bring it outside. The one afternoon Trout Pass was open, Donna and I were both surprised - like, "Oh look, there's a bar here!"

Having worked at Disneyland and being in charge of all the food locations within an area, I know all about labor hours and closing a location early if it's not making money or not opening at all due to weather....

Oh those were the days...sometimes I miss working in restaurants...then I remember the hours...and working weekends.....oh wait, I'm doing that now...

We've had 70's here the last couple of days...and tomorrow we're supposed to get 5-15 inches of snow! Crazy a$$ weather here in Colorado.

Hi Jordan, You are too funny! I am at work laughing and the kids(The kids who work for me, not my kids) are looking at the pics on the computer and commenting. Cory said, "Look, there's your sweaty Asian friend !" I did not even know they were paying attention, much less actually storing this information! Then he said, " there's the pole dancing lady!" Oh my gosh, I cannot stop laughing!
I gave up drinking alcohol and soda for lent. I really wanted an Irish whiskey yesterday. I am not a big drinker, but I do like a glass now and then, and definitely on vacation. We go out dancing a few fridays a month and dance all night and have some drinks, but most nights after work I make dinner, do laundry, etc. I like wine now and again, and like a cold beer on a hot day. We would definitely have a good time at Petals or anywhere in Disney if we ever meet up!
My boyfriend and Son are in Orlando this week. They were supposed to be seeing the Space Shuttle launch for his college Astronomy class, but it was postponed. I said, Oh nice way to get a little trip to Florida during Spring Break! They are eating in Downtown Disney tonight. They said they feel guilty being there without me-Sure!

Let me expand on the "FALLING into the bushes incident !!!!I was beside Winkers when it happened and she did just walk into them no tripping !!! But DJ and Jordan were so busy laughing I had to go to the rescue !!! I too was laughing but I was the RESCUER!!! Right Cherie !!!We were supposed to hide in the bushes at Pop Cherie NOT fall into them by the Contemporary!!!!!

Now for the "POOFING" Jordans hand did a lot of "rear"flapping that evening and we all knew to stay back !!!!!I couldn't tell if they were the SBD ones or not I stayed at a safe range !!!

Wonderful recap of your first day. I really think you should have taken the gas med Winkers gave you and carried it with you for the rest of your trip. What good is a gift if you don't use it?

If only my brothers had your discretion when it came to poofing. I will never forget the great fart incident of 2007. Alek let the loudest and smelliest fart rip right in the middle of the Syracuse airport. We were at our gate too so the people who witnessed the incident all had to get on a plane with us. It was mortifying!

Why am I not surpried that A Bros Grimm would do that!!!!!
