I just want to let you know that I am sending you my sympathies--I know how crazy the end of the year gets at school--and it is not always just the kids' over-excitement. The endless string of meetings and meetings, AND MORE MEETINGS is enough to drive anyone CRAZY!!! I can honestly say I DON'T MISS THAT ONE BIT!!!! I'm thinking of you kiddo--I know how rushed I am feeling right now to get everything done, and I'm not even working right now!!! Take care Jackie!!! Talk soon, Jen

Thanks! One more week and I hope things will calm down a bit -- it's taking every ounce of effort on my part to actually concentrate on work stuff as opposed to Disney stuff!

Let me set the scene a bit. I know this is off topic, but I thought of you instantly.

My wedding anniversary is June 22. My sister in law who just had a baby, has her anniversary on June 24.

Okay.

Last night, DH and I are sitting on the couch. During a commercial break, he says to me, "So, what are we going to do for the 22nd?"

I said, "Oh, I have no idea, I don't know if we'll be able to celebrate...will there be a baptism that weekend?" My MIL had suggested that as a possible time, that weekend in June.

"What are you talking about?"

"Our anniversary, honey."

"TK, I'm talking about May. Indiana Jones comes out on the 22nd!"

Two thumbs way, way up for this guy! Woo hoo! I can't wait till CP sees it! Check out the arm muscles, goodness gracious. Normally, I don't get so worked up, but as an artist, I can really appreciate him from a purely aesthetic standpoint.

Chelsea with her class went to tour Turner Field on Monday and had a blast! They even let them sit in the dugout and she said to me, "Momma, afterwards, I realized I had famous baseball player germs on my behind!"

I won't lie, I almost bought him. Why, I don't even know. I tried to scroll through my head of the kids I know, but they were either too young or too old. Ack. I couldn't even use them as an excuse to buy him. Did you see the Spidey Spud on the website? I didn't know Mr. Tato has gone so "commercial".

Today, I snapped awake and thought, "This time in 21 days we will be on the road to Walt Disney World!"

This past week has been one of ups and downs. School is very busy as can be expected since we are now down to five school days!

I have a to-do list a mile long of school stuff to do: final exams, projects, awards days, cleaning my room. I keep telling myself to just focus on one thing at a time, otherwise by ADD will kick into overdrive and I won't be able to focus on anything.

At home, we had one of Charles's uncles visiting Wednesday night, his father and his wife came into town on Friday, and one of his aunts passed away on Thursday (she had cancer and we knew it was going to happen, but it has still been hard).

Yesterday, Chelsea competed in the state Science Olympiad. It was a lot of fun. 45 schools from around Georgia were there, and it was an experience to be sure. Unfortunately, Chelsea did not medal in either of her events, but two of her best friends did medal, so we were very excited for them.

Since there is a Disney store right around the corner from the college where SO was being held, we ran over there afterwards. Nothing too exciting, but we did pick out a couple of t-shirts for Chelsea and Connor and stocked up on some Disney dollars.

Today, I am hoping to take some pics of our recent purchases, and I am hoping to get Epcot passports finished for the kids. I know that this next week will be another crazy busy week, but I am hoping I can still get my DIS fix during it all!

Yay! The days are just ticking by eh? So glad you went to the Disney store- do you know if yours is closing? I think the 2 or 3 close to me are. (Soo not cool!) My thoughts are with your families with Charles' aunt's death. Cancer is a horrible thing.

There's still about 9 1/2 days of school left here, then a few days a finals. So that means some studying has to start just about.. now!

ITA about the need to stay focused on something. It's like, there's just soo much to do that if you try to multitask it just won't happen.

Can't wait to keep counting down days with you! Also can't wait for POFQ, just saw some pictures last night and fell more in love!

We were over at Town Center -- Science Olympiad was at Kennesaw State University -- has that place changed since I graduated from there! When I went, dorms were a rumor, and there were only about 10,000 students -- now, I heard yesterday that they have a student body of 20,000!

Town Center's Disney Store is not closing -- thank goodness. I was kind of disappointed at the offerings in the adult t-shirts -- I was hoping to find some shirts for DH and me, but I guess I will just wait until we are at the World. Kids' t-shirts were 2 for $15, and they had a lot of their long-sleeve t's on sale for $4.99.

Busy, busy, busy! The next three weeks are just going to fly by!
