The Pre-Pre-Trip Report: MOVING TIME! 11/21 Pg. 19. The PTR has Begun!

I would so go with you if we lived closer, and trust me, you wouldn't be the only 40-year-old in the theater. :lmao:

:hug:Thank you for offering to go with me...if only you were closer...:sad1:...I'd even buy the popcorn/candy...:confused3...

Oh I know I wouldn't be the only 4.0. in the audience...you know about Dismoms...well apparently there are Twi-moms know...;)

Okay, finally all caught up! Thank you for your links. :goodvibes

So much to comment on...first, your wedding...! Ahhh! Soooo pretty! Loved the centerpieces, the theme, your dress, your cake, BEAUTIFUL! I'm so sorry about your little birds though. We have a crazy awesome thrift store in our town, so if I happen across them I will BUY. I hope you are able to find them!

And :dance3: for having a ticker, and dates SET. I'm anxious to hear about the plans, but I fully understand why you aren't posting them yet.

CONGRATULATIONS on the 49 pounds! The Cons that you picked out are adorable! I love Cons - I've had a pair for at least 5 years, and they still are comfy. :thumbsup2

And, I'm glad to hear Marc's surgery went well! I hope he gets through this yucky/painful part without much hassle. I'm sure you are a great nurse. :goodvibes

We watched UP tonight for the first time, we bought it with Monsters, Inc. - a CRAZY awesome deal at Target - both DVD/BluRay combo packs for $11! Anyway, I bawled too! It was so sweet.

LL...I am so sorry about your birds...I know it is the mature thing to move on and whatnot but I'd have been upset...Bad Kitty...:confused3

(Actually there are a series of kid books about Bad Kitty, Bad Kitty Gets a Bath and Happy Birthday Bad Kitty...when you feel up to it...you make get a kick out of them...( I have a cat and a dog...we have all kinds of fun :rolleyes1...I love both of them but each of them has their naughty moments...)

I liked Cynthia's idea of getting a closeup of them (the birds) and framing them...that way you still have a visual of them...

Everyone deserves a couch potato weekend now and again...

(I just saw Up this weekend too...the beginning especially makes me tear up...:sad1:...it's a lovely fim though...

Meet the Robinsons is awesome...(I feel like I live with Lewis sometimes...:rolleyes1)

I hope your week is a happy one and that Marc continues to recuperate well...:goodvibes
Oh, Up made me bawl. It was such a great movie.

I am going to do that picture thing, I still hope that I can find them again though.

I don't have a death wish so I'm going to avoid the theater this Friday at all costs but I'm dying to go see The Blind Side...although with my upcoming schedule its going to have to wait until after Thanksgiving. LOL!! ALthough I hope you enjoy New Moon on Friday LOL!!!
Oh pffft to your death wish. I went to see Twilight on opening and it wasn't bad at all! I have tickets to the 7pm show on Friday for New Moon. I'm so excited. Marc & I are debating going to see The Blind Side on Saturday or Sunday.

I just must have missed this while I was writing on your thread...

where did you see an extended preview?

(Emily is going to a New Moon movie/dinner b-day party so I'm going to have to find some else to go with me...:confused3....

I refuse to be the only 40 year old in the theatre...hmmm...actually I probably wouldn't be...:lmao:
It was just on TV, it just seemed way longer than what has been online. You won't be the only 40 year old for sure!

Thanks so much on the wedding photos and weight loss. I'm really proud of us with our weight loss. :thumbsup2

Oy! I just had an update all typed out and then the web page goes berserk and just closes out. I am so not happy. :headache:

First off....I apologize at the lack of my babbling. Work rolled out a new system yesterday so I've been going into work early plus they've been cracking down on the internet usage so I've been avoiding the DIS while at work. BOO! I am so behind on all my PTR/TR reading that I feel bad. :guilty:

Marc is doing well. He's a bit cranky tonight. I think it's because he did too much today. Men. They don't listen.

I went to Best Buy after work today and got Marc his get well present he requested.

It's a really cool game! Especially if you love old school Mario. He's playing it now and it's just how I remember. It's really neat. :thumbsup2

I've also been busy watching Seasons 1 & 2 of Brothers & Sisters. I just love this show. I've been watching since last season (season 3) but I didn't get everything that was going on. So I've caught up and loving it more than ever.

Plus I have a little crush on the actor who plays Justin Walker. ;)

:cloud9:

Marc is trying to guilt me into visiting his grandmother this weekend but I don't want to drive all the way down there. Plus it's the LAST weekend we have without a million and one holiday activities planned. Every weekend from Thanksgiving to Christmas is packed. I want this one last weekend to do nothing. I told him he should visit her during the week while I'm at work next week since he'll be able to drive but he wants me to go too. BOO! I'm trying to get out of it.

I'm really missing Disney planning. I feel lost without a trip to plan. I know I have October but it feels too early to plan. Blech.

I'm ready to be in the Christmas spirit. I need to think up some Holiday focused things I can do this weekend to bring up my mood. :santa:

Super Mario for wii is on DS's christmas list! He LOVES Mario and can't wait to have it!! We have all sorts of Mario wii games, mario cart, mario galaxy, mario and sonic at the winter olympics etc. All great games!!

I hope all goes well at work!! Back before my stay at home mom days I worked in an office where I first shared an office with another women and then got moved into a bigger office with 4 other people. Then I could go online anymore, boooo!

I've seen Brothers and Sisters a handful of times, good show!!! Normally I'm stuck with whatever DH wants to watch, which leaves me with a laptop on my lap and Dis ;)

Try not to give into Marc ;) take it easy this weekend!! Really! With all the holiday stuff coming up you'll be happy to have done it!!

I know what you mean about wanting to be in the christmas spirit! I just want thanksgiving to come and go already!! I want me some christmas!!!

I enjoy Brothers and Sisters too. Justin is a cutie! Thanks for the picture LL!

I say stay home this weekend - Marc may need the rest anyway, Right???

I found that one of our local radio stations has already switched over to all Christmas music. That either gets you in the mood, or annoys the heck out of you. Me - in the mood - totally!! This weekend I'm going to start decorating since we leave for WDW the week after Thanksgiving (12/3 to be exact!). I'm decorating early so it will all be done before we leave.

I was about to suggest baking Christmas cookies, but that might not be a great idea for people losing weight huh? :rolleyes1
Have you done any shopping? Maybe gift wrapping or something or watching a holiday movie would get you in the mood more.
Hang in there!!

I know what you mean about feeling lost with no Disney trip to plan -- me too, me too, me too! :goodvibes

I think the Christmas season will help take our minds off of our non-Disney-trip-planned lives -- I am looking forward to Thanksgiving and decorating for Christmas afterwards!

Hi LL....

I've gotten behind on your PRE PTR. I know you are in a funk because you are between trips - that's hard. I bet you will become distracted with all the holiday stuff between now and Christmas.

I am glad to read that Marc is doing so well after his surgery. I love your Christmas card picture. It's really cute.

And congrats to you for your continued wt loss and for the positive feedback from the nutritionist. I wish you continued success as you travel through this life changing journey.

One of the hair dressers where I get my hair done commented that she lost 99lbs after her wt loss surgery. She was so happy yesterday when she weighed in. It was really great to see that sense of accomplishment on her face. I'm not sure how long ago she had her surgery, but I know there are so many more positives in store for you!

Sorry work is getting in the way of babbling. Internet use crackdown, huh? That stinks. :headache:

I :lovestruc Brothers & Sisters.

I also say enjoy your last not jam packed weekend before the holidays. One of my neighbors put up all their Christmas decorations last weekend and is lighting them every night! :scared1: I know Thanksgiving is next week but it feels too early to see Christmas lights.

Sorry about the between trip funk. It is a long road to October. But at least we're back to 180 day ADRs so that will be April! :thumbsup2

Glad Marc is doing well. :goodvibes

LOL my neighbor down the road has his inflatable turkey army up...I swear the man has at least 11 inflatable turkeys in his yard and he already had the lights and Santa inflatables ready to go on his roof...he could give Tim Allen a run for his money LOL!!!

Sorry you are in a funk...I'm in the same funk!!! Whatever will we do to occupy ourselves until MARCH :scared1:

I say enjoy your last busy free weekend...I wish I could enjoy this weekend before the parentals arrive LOL!! (CODE FOR: MORE TIME TO CLEAN THE HOUSE).

Hi LL,
Sorry work is cracking down on internet use, don't they know you have DISing to do?!!

I hear you about the funk about not having Disney to plan, this is the 1st year that I haven't had a trip in the works in 3 years.....I'm going through withdrawals, even doing my TR!!:guilty: We just booked Disney on Ice in Boston....did you see it's coming?! The week after Christmas...maybe you and Marc should look into it! AAA had cheap tickets, fyi!! :santa: So that will give me a bit of a fix BUT...it's not the same!!:sad2: How is the Disney store, does that help working there at all?!

I hope Marc is doing well!!! And listening to you and resting!!! I say, take the weekend off again and relax...will you see his Grandmother for Thanksgiving??

I just saw an extended preview of New Moon.

I am SO EXCITED for Friday!!

:yay: :dance3:  :cheer2:

Me too!!!!!!!!!!

I just must have missed this while I was writing on your thread...

I refuse to be the only 40 year old in the theatre...hmmm...actually I probably wouldn't be...:lmao:

I've seen an extended one somewhere on the internet...Kendall would know. Get this. Her mom aka control freak but non planner (I don't really get that combo but it's interesting) totally waited too long to get tickets and she's not going tomorrow night for the opening iwth all her friends like she planned. I feel so bad for her! Hopefully one of her friends comes through.

And I can't take her with me on Friday because...there are about 10 of us 40 or so olds going together, to an adult only theater that actually serves food, beer and wine! And besides the fact that she isn't 21, it is sold out. A theater officially full of adults to see it. SO excited! I confess, I now own 2 t-shirts, is it wrong? The rack had some cute ones for $9.99, I couldn't resisit,. Now...which one to wear.

Hey that's less than a year away....you can plan, I give you permission.

I got the same game for Eric, he doesn't even know that it's been released or anything about it but he's asked for every other Mario game that exists so I think he will be super excited.

How can you NOT have a crush on Justin Walker?

Yum.

Darn work. I've been busy this week myself and am equally behind!

LOL my neighbor down the road has his inflatable turkey army up...I swear the man has at least 11 inflatable turkeys in his yard and he already had the lights and Santa inflatables ready to go on his roof...he could give Tim Allen a run for his money LOL!!!

You must post a picture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A turkey army

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I will go for a "walk" this afternoon when I get home with my mission to take a picture of his house!! Seriously I think he might have the whole thing up by today!! But I slowed down to count the turkeys (I finally got over the fear of them attacking me LOL) and he had 11 of them...and then snoopy is on the roof in a helcopter...the lights are up...including the santa and reindeer. He was putting up a wreath and his Merry Christmas sign!!! Now while the turkey army does make me want to run in terror, I have to give it to my neighbor when he does something HE GOES ALL THE WAY!! Pretty impressive!!!

Jen, I must agree! I need to see a picture of the turkey army!!!!!

I saw a house last night that had a whole bunch of christmas lights up and on!

Oh boy, I can't wait to see that!

I am just getting into Brothers and Sisters. I want to rent the first few seasons from the library so I know more of what is happening. I am really looking forward to the holidays. I can't wait to put our tree up. We put our tree up early and take it down late. Winter is so dark that the tree brightens our whole house up.

LL, just keep you chin up! I know that you must be feeling sad right now, but I'm sure that things will be looking up.
It must be tough going cold turkey from the DIS during the day, I go through that when school starts....
