The Pre-Pre-Trip Report: MOVING TIME! 11/21 Pg. 19. The PTR has Begun!

Y'all are such a great support system to each other! I'm glad Marc is doing as well as can be expected.

Isn't your nutritionist sweet! My last one was a Nazi and I dreaded going to her. You are doing so very well. It makes me excited for summer to be here, although I'm absolutely terrified too. You are doing great though!!

Edited to say: We watched UP last night too. And I caught my husband wiping away a few tears of his own!! It was really wonderful, wasn't it?

YAY for a couch potato weekend, sometimes you just need those kind of days!!!! I had one yesterday so I will pay for it today, so much to do this afternoon when I get home from church LOL!!!!

Awww I really want to see UP I'm going to have to go get it so I can watch it!!! Last movie I saw was the new Transformers and I bawled at the end of it, so I can only imagine what will happen during UP LOL!!!

YAY for knowing you lost it all on your own!!! That is great Leslie!!

I :lovestruc Couch Potato Weekends! I plan on having one of those soon.

Hope Marc continues to feel better and avoids the yucky after-surgery feeling. I am sure he has an excellent nurse!

Good job resisting the chicken fingers. I am so proud of you!

I am glad that Marc is feeling better. Couch potato weekends are really nice. Very relaxing! Your weight loss is awesome! I am excited for you!:goodvibes

I think the couch potato weekend sounds like an awesome idea. I am totally supporting you, so have decided to join you this weekend being a couch potato.

Your weight loss is awesome and you really are doing it on your own until you have several fills-so you should be extremely proud of yourself. Good job!!!:yay:

I think you and Marc will be a great support system for each other, sometimes its nice to talk to someone who actually knows how you feel and what it is like!

That must be an awesome feeling knowing that you did this much of the weight loss all on your own determination! You ROCK!
It must be hard to resist buying a whole new wardrobe at this point, are you just buying a few items to get you through?
Soon you both will be out shopping for skinny clothes!

SO glad to hear that Marc is recovering so nicely!! And what a good wifey you're being!!

Congrats on being so far ahead on your weight loss! You guys look great....LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Christmas card...too cute!!!!:cutie:

Have a good night!!!:goodvibes
I'm trying to be good! I'm about ready to put those cones they put around dogs on his hands so he'll stop touching/poking at his incisions! :headache:

Glad to hear things went well for Marc, and I liked hearing your reflections about the whole weight loss experience and how you are doing with it, I am glad your nutritionist was giving you some positive words... oh exercise is always hard. So you are not alone in that sentiment!

Chipotle, gotta love those burrito bowls!!! I can't eat a whole one either! They make very healthy options there, so good for you! much better than fried food, for sure! Maybe Marc can make them for you? I have a great recipie for Panko breadcrumb crusted chicken tenders -- I buy the chicken breast tenderloins you can get and while they are not AS fried -- they are crispy... my kids love them.. if they are good enough for Giada to make on the cooking channel, they can't be that bad!
I love love love love LOVE Chipotle. I love eating out so it gives me a healthy choice. I think I'm going to make my own chicken tenders this week. They'll end up being a lot healthier that way!

I got up and exercised this morning. I walked to the redbox to return our movies. I even walked passed the chicken finger place and avoided it! :yay:

Good for you resisting the chicken fingers :thumbsup2 I've only been to Chipotle once and never tried the burrito bowls, but I'm addicted to the naked burritos at Qdoba.

I absolutely loved UP. I cried too, especially at the beginning. There's a DVD display of it at my store and every time I walk by I think of the beginning and almost want to cry. :lmao: I'm so ridiculous.
I'm never heard of Qdoba. Hmmmm.

I loved Up! It was great. I cried so many times. Marc really liked it too. Pixar makes such great movies.

LL, sounds like a fun TV watching Saturday! Up is really wonderful, isn't it? I mainly just watched it because so far I loved every Pixar film and then I was so surprised how wonderful the film was! :goodvibes

You know, I have been wondering about your weight loss in just the same way as your nutritionist said. Since you only got your first fill very recently, I had been thinking that so far all your weight loss must be due to you eating better with the help of your medical team! So congratulations on that acchievement! You really lost those pounds by working hard for it, like not getting chicken fingers! :thumbsup2 And I just realized that postponing your January trip to October will mean that you will have lost even more weight until your next WDW visit, you will be running around all day because you have so much more energy!! :goodvibes
Thank you! I hadn't really thought of it that way before but since she pointed it out to me, I'm behaving even more. :rotfl:

In October I am going to be unstoppable!

Oh, I am so glad our nutritionist is kind. She really listens to what we say and helps come up with solutions. I think her weekend exercise suggestion was brilliant. I've already finished what I "have" to do this week. It's a good feeling. Almost makes me want to exercise tomorrow. Almost! :rotfl2:

Awww, that is sweet about your husband. I don't think I have EVER seen Marc cry. EVER. I tell him he's heartless all the time. :rotfl2:

You have to get Up. You should just buy it because it's that good. We watched Transformers 1 & 2 last weekend. I LOVED THEM. You haven't, watch the second one. Even better than the first!

I :lovestruc Couch Potato Weekends! I plan on having one of those soon.

Hope Marc continues to feel better and avoids the yucky after-surgery feeling. I am sure he has an excellent nurse!

Good job resisting the chicken fingers. I am so proud of you!
Thanks CP! Marc is napping now, he got up a little too early I think and he was falling asleep on the couch. :rotfl:

yes, the support system is great. I was glad I could talk to you when I was recovering, it was helpful. Marc was really freaked out yesterday by all the tightness he was feeling but I told him I felt the same way, made him feel better.

I really can't believe how little I'm eating after this second fill and how I'm full for a long time.. Yay! It's working.

Soon you both will be out shopping for skinny clothes!

Pretty much. I'm having a hard time finding clothes that fit right. I'm pretty tall so a lot of the smaller stuff I can fit into, is too short. I've actually had decent luck at Walmart of all places so I've gotten some cheaper shirts to see me through. It's hard though cause I feel so frumpy in a lot of my clothes and I'm feeling so good that I don't want to look that way. :rotfl2:

Meet the Robinsons is on tonight at 8PM & 10PM on ABC Family. If you haven't seen it, you should. It's a a great Disney movie. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the shout-out about Meet the Robinsons. I think we will watch it! I'm also needing to see UP, that may be a purchase when I go to the grocery store today!

I'm so glad Marc is doing well! I hope he avoids the yuckies!!

The couch potato weekend sounds sooooo nice! I need to do that!!

I love what the nurtionist told you and I love it even more that it made you so happy!! What you've done is AMAZING and AWESOME!! You a wonderful, strong, beautiful women and your doing a fantastic job!!!! You definitely need to stop being so hard on yourself!!

Hey LL. Glad to hear that things seem to be going well. Great job on the willpower and exercise. :thumbsup2

Nice list of movies. You certainly did have a couch potato weekend. Did you like Get Smart? I loved the TV show and Steve Carell and Ann Hathaway, but I've heard the movie isn't very good. Think it's worth seeing?

What a great, happiness filled update! I love how great you are feeling about YOU and realizing that you've done it all!

:goodvibes

I have to admit, I've only seen one movie on your list, but what a fun 5 days and great job on resisting the chicken fingers.

YAY for the Robinsons shout out, I've not seen it and so will DVR it!

Okay - first, thanks for the tip about Meet the Robinsons. Maybe I can convince DH not to watch football and we can watch it.

Second - glad to hear Marc is doing well - he has a great nurse!

Third - it really is inspiring to read about you and your weight loss journey. It makes me proud of you - and it seems so odd, since I only know you through DIS. But that's what's so great about DIS - we become friends so easily though one shared interest, that we can actually help each other, support and share. Truly amazing!

You are doing great. I think I'm going to skip the take out tonight and exercise!!

Thank you so much! I'm kinda bored from my couch potato weekend. I was acting a little goofy this afternoon. :rotfl:

You know, I think it's worth seeing. I wasn't very impressed with the beginning but the ending was pretty decent. I thought Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway did a great job together.

Thank you so much! I understand what you mean about the DIS, I feel the same way about all of the friends I have made on here. :goodvibes

LL...I am so sorry about your birds...I know it is the mature thing to move on and whatnot but I'd have been upset...Bad Kitty...:confused3

(Actually there are a series of kid books about Bad Kitty, Bad Kitty Gets a Bath and Happy Birthday Bad Kitty...when you feel up to it...you make get a kick out of them...( I have a cat and a dog...we have all kinds of fun :rolleyes1...I love both of them but each of them has their naughty moments...)

I liked Cynthia's idea of getting a closeup of them (the birds) and framing them...that way you still have a visual of them...

Everyone deserves a couch potato weekend now and again...

(I just saw Up this weekend too...the beginning especially makes me tear up...:sad1:...it's a lovely fim though...

Meet the Robinsons is awesome...(I feel like I live with Lewis sometimes...:rolleyes1)

I hope your week is a happy one and that Marc continues to recuperate well...:goodvibes

I don't have a death wish so I'm going to avoid the theater this Friday at all costs but I'm dying to go see The Blind Side...although with my upcoming schedule its going to have to wait until after Thanksgiving. LOL!! ALthough I hope you enjoy New Moon on Friday LOL!!!

I just saw an extended preview of New Moon.

I am SO EXCITED for Friday!!

:yay: :dance3:  :cheer2:

I just must have missed this while I was writing on your thread...

where did you see an extended preview?

(Emily is going to a New Moon movie/dinner b-day party so I'm going to have to find some else to go with me...:confused3....

I refuse to be the only 40 year old in the theatre...hmmm...actually I probably wouldn't be...:lmao:

I would so go with you if we lived closer, and trust me, you wouldn't be the only 40-year-old in the theater. :lmao:
