The Postman Rang Twice - I Mailed/Received My Postcard Exchange

Beanie
Never fear! I am coming to your rescue, we cant have you with no international postcards now can we;) There will be several in the post ASAP:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Let me know when you get them:smooth:

I found the ones I sent you Nutsy.:Pinkbounc

Hmmm... this makes me wonder about a couple I sent to England that weren't in an envelope. Think I'll send another set.

Nutsy, I'm glad the second card showed up. Makes you wonder what happened to it on the trip.:p

I saw one of my cards! I usually just zip through here so fast I don't wait for the pictures to download.

Still waiting on an American and International set to arrive. I know what you mean about things getting damaged in the mail. We got a letter from the IRS this week that had not only been misdelivered but it apparently had been out in the rain somewhere also.

I received three cards today from FrancesG! Thanks!!

They were of Charles Dickens Broadstairs, Old Broadstairs and Broadstairs Bays! Absolutely beautiful! I hope someday...... You can also see in the pics that an original structure "Bleak House" is still there! Nice!!

I received post cards from FrancesG also......7 of them!! My, what a surprise!!
Charles Dickens Broadstairs, two of Old Broadstairs (different pics though ;), Broadstairs, Broadstairs Bays, The Isle of Thanet and map of Kent.
Thank you SO muc Frances.....and I hope your DH is feeling better.

I still haven't recieved anything :(

Also, haven't heard confirmation for one of my sends.........

Things haven't changed since my last post, Vicki. As Nutsy's only took 8 days I don't think there's much chance of it turning up now. I think she's right - in envelopes is better. I have had others not arrived and the ones I got all looked as if they'd been through the wars!

And Kirby - glad you liked, hope the kids did too!

Ok, all my postcards were sent singulary, as no one had preferences, I asked mine to be in envelopes,a s i know that postcards can be damaged in the post.

Hopefully they arrive soon....:)

In case anyone's missed it - Meriweather's started a great calendar exchange - sign up if you haven't already!!
Be there or be... sad that you missed it!

Thanks Regi

I received your postcard from the French Quarter this morning, so nice to come down to postcards instead of bills ;)

Aksnopea, thank you for your postcard! We wouldn't know what to do if we had snow in a month. We're lucky to get snow.

These are the post cards I have received. Thanks to Nutsy and Thumper Thistle! I enjoyed reading the explanations on the back. I just received the 2nd Brisbane one yesterday. I sent mine a while back to Tony-NJ and someone in UK (can't remember where or who - brain damage  ). I think I'm missing a set, but I think they might have gotten lost in the mail since there was a mess-up with my address. No worries! I was happy to get the ones I got, especially when I'm worried about getting a scary bill :)
