Insurance. What do you use? Insurance through DVC?

Wondering if anyone has had the experience of needing a med evac and actually remembering to call their insurance company first. I'm quite certain if I was in the situation they wouldn't be high on my (or my wife's) list of phone calls at the time.

Also curious. I for sure can’t imagine stopping to call and arrange with an insurance company first and in an emergency situation. I’ve seen mentions of people knowing of someone needing medical evacuation but never seen the actual person posting or making a video about it.
