I've been to Chicago before, so I really enjoyed looking at the postcards. Thanks a million for the pretty cards and the nice note. I was so excited when I saw the envelope in the mailbox. This was fun!

Alexandra - Charlton Girl - has hers from BARB with pics of Pennsylvania - some historic bridges and Amish pics.


The girls have just posted off to luvtigger and Aksnopea today - sorry they are a bit late, but they've been very busy in the school holidays.

I just received another card from PA. It shows the state of Pennsylvania. I couldn't find King of Pressia on it but I don't know which part of the state it is in either. I really was little when we moved there for a short time. Thanks KarenB

This morning I received 3 post cards from Meriweather. The card of Arlington actually looks like my small town surrounded by miles of farm land. The card of Mount St. Helens is really neat. It must of been something feeling that thing go off and Seattle looks interesting. Thanks a lot Meriweather.

I'm so glad they finally made it...I was starting to worry.
I mailed them the same day as some to Germany and those arrived several days ago.

On the 12 th I sent a set to AL and also one to the UK ....no word on those yet.

Just wanted to day Thank you to Homer Timpson and Tartan Tigger. I did receive your post cards and I just love the cards you send. Your country of Scottland is just beautiful. Its looks alot like Alaska in the summer except we do not have any building older then the 1930's. Do you get any cold weather or snow like we do up here in the winter. It can go down to - 30 below 0 some t

The postman has just this minute popped a postcard through the letterbox for me

It is from Tiggerlover and the picture on it is of Lake Garda in Italy. It looks absolutely stunning, my sister assures me it is even nicer when you see it for real, she was there a few years ago.

Yes we do get snow in the Winter although we've not had as much of it over the past few years. We get lots nad lots of rain. In June it rained every single day here in Scotland. Had a mini heat wave this week with the temperatures topping 70. Outlook for today is showers with a top temp of 63.
In the Winter it is always freezing.

I received postcards of Alaska from someone who did a Flat Stanley for me and I thought the same as you, it could be Scotland.
Glad you liked the cards.

Bunny Girl, I'm so glad you got them. I know the amount of postage I put on them was really wierd. I went to the Post Office on Saturday only to find it closed. I used what change I had to buy what I thought was postcard stamps - only to discover they were actual postcards with pre-stamped postage. So, I decided to use the stamps I had brought with me - and just prayed it would be enough. I am VERY glad they reached you.

USAers, since when have branch post offices been closed on Saturday mornings?

I sent off my last US exchange this week.

very beautiful cards this past week. 2 from tiggerlover and 6 or 7 from merriweather. Italy and Washington state. They all are very beautiful. Thanks to you very much! I love all of the cards.

I have a few more to mail and they will be going out Monday. They are written, addressed and all I need is stamps. Be patient.
