Hello Pooh93!!! Thanks for the postcards! It was a nice surprise!

My kids are big animal fans and would love to have access to a zoo like you mentioned. We went to a butterfly conservatory in Canada, just across the border from Niagara Falls....what a treat it was! We really don't have anything that close to us.....maybe an hour away is the closest but small zoo.

Thanks again.....we all enjoyed them!

Today the mail brought me a thank you card from kimraye, Chicago looks nice, wpould have got there if the airport wasn;t stormed out..lol

I also recieved 3 cards from meriweather, thank you so much, I love the water fall, Arlington reminds me of the area i live in, and seattle,....looks nice at night.

I just received two very "educational" cards from Nutsy... what did they teach me? That we watch too much TV... When I told DD, who is 5, they were from Australia... first thing she did is ask if that is where the Crocodile Hunter lived!

Poohshoney - received your cards today! The kids were in the car with me when I stopped at our mailbox and grabbed them out of my hands. They were as excited as I was!

We had the opportunity to visit Germany back in the early 80's. My DH's younger sister's husband and his youngest brother were both stationed at Army bases there. Wish we would have went.

Heidelberg and Mannheim were just two of the cities that they mentioned. In fact, I have a wood carving of the castle at Heidelberg that my SIL gave us.

My postcards don't seem to have arrived.They were posted out about two weeks ago.I also sent some out from my DD Taylor but those haven't arrived either
I was given more names from Nutsy last week but I haven't been able to get to the shops so I will get some more posted of to the US at the weekend so if you are patiently waiting you won't be waiting much longer!!!LOL!!!
