EPCOT Future World
To do list for today
Rides we wanted to do:
Mission Space, Test Track, The Sea's With Nemo & Friends, Turtle Talk With Crush, Soarin'.
Well, to start by saying, we went to WDW with 75 pins to trade between us, they didn't last long.
Well, when we got in, there were the compulsory Spaceship Earth photos
Me and DM at Spaceship Earth
DS and DM at Spaceship Earth.
Sadly, spaceship earth was closed for a rehab, but we soon got over that, we first headed to The Land Pavillion to get fastpasses for Soarin' since it had the massive queue already. Got the fasspasses and then we headed on to Living with the Land.
Spotted the "hidden" mickey in living with the land
After this, my mum wanted to do the Behind The Seeds tour so whilst she did that, me and DS headed all the way over to Test Track, which was extremely fun and after that headed back to the land. On the way back we spotted the Muppets Mobile Lab so watched that for a bit. The lab was funny and I thought was quite cool how it worked, but Im a bit geeky about stuff like that.
We headed back into the land and waited for DM to finish the tour and then we sat down for a bit. We then headed to Soarin' for our fastpass time. I really enjoyed Soarin'. I had no idea about it before as I had never been on it, I chickened out when we went to California in 2001 but the ride was fantastic, no wonder its so popular.
We then headed to the Seas With Nemo And Friends.
The nemo ride was cool, and since it keeps moving, no queue! Its very cleverly done. After this we headed into Turtle Talk with Crush which was great. Noggin has now been entered into my vocabulary along with the many uses of dude.
This queue sign is great!
We then went over to the Manitees and then into the observation deck as it was feeding time. Fish flying EVERYWHERE! DS became fascinated when I told her you could go diving in the tank (She does Marine Biology and is a certified scuba diver).
We then headed out of the seas and went to the Imagination Pavilion to go on Journey Into Imagination With Figment. I wanted to go on this ride since I wanted to know who figment was, but now I quite like figment, I even traded for a pin of him. We also avoided Honey! I Shrunk the Audience as I have a severe disliking of this 4D movie at DLRP, but then I dislike most 4D movies.
Cool fountain at the Imagination Pavilion, the water goes up?
After this we grabbed some Ice Creams (that means Mickey Bars
which I must admit taste good!) and some monorail shots:
We went to the Mission Space pavillion, which only had a 10 minute queue and me, DS and DM went on the Green one, which was a lot of fun and then DS went on the Orange one.
Me and DS at Mission Space
After that we headed to the last Pavilion, The Universe of Energy. I thought this ride was slightly odd as its so massive and I spend the majority of time trying to think how this worked. I was a bit stumped for a while.
We also spotted a butterfly, which were larger than we expected them to be!
We then caught some sunset shots:
We then headed to the world showcase for Illuminations and grabbed some Chips at the UK pavilion. Illuminations was fantastic and the fireworks were so loud, the video we recorded has fuzz and bangs for sound.
