The Official Who's Going in October of 2007 List!

I talked my hubby into one more trip on our annual passes this year! We went the end of January and last week of April into May this year, so now we will go Oct.13-21 staying at SSR and then to Vero Beach with our DVC points. We love Vero after the hustle and bustle of the theme parks, very relaxing and fun! Add us to the list, we are driving the long hall from Michigan, 22 hours!

LONG HAUL is Right!!!!! DRiving from MI to OH is long Haul enough for me.

:grouphug: x 100 would cover all of us going to WDW now! Yep, we broke 500! Maggie

Great thread! Adult only trip for me Oct 3rd - 7th. 73 days to go! :cheer2: Thanks for doing this!

this is my first post, how i went for so long not finding these boards, i'll never know!! :confused3

i got sucked in by the food pics! so great! :thumbsup2

boy, there are a LOT of you who will be there when we are!

we just booked a magical gathering @ ASMo. i can't wait, last time we were there, we were on our honeymoon (2001) & this time, we are bringing our little girl, so it'll be HER first time! i can seriously, hardly contain myself. :yay:

i'm prepping her by bombarding her w/disney books, cartoons, sing-a-long dvd's & toys! :cheer2:

we'll be there from 10/17-10/24
i have a whole Pig-in-the-Poke Itinerary for our Magical Gathering
(i'm sick i tell ya...)

many blessings to you all!

Updated list again! Oh, did everyone notice the park hour changes! We are being given more time to play! Maggie

Honestly, I don't think that your trip specifically has much if any change. There are some major time changes for earlier in the month. They even extended hours during November stays. The MK hours seem to be the ones that have been most affected. The official Disney calendar is http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wd...alendarParkHoursMonthlyViewPage&date=20071001 for the MK. I would look for the WDWInfo calendar to be updated soon....it's much more user friendly and can be found at http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/hours.htm

I hope this helps. Maggie

hey vermousters...are you so excited for your trip?! is it your first time or are you a disney veteran?:yay:

Yes, I;m always excited to go to WDW. This will be my sixth time with my DW.Will be staying at the AKL, our first deluxe hotel. We usually stay at a value or moderate.

Can't wait to go. Sept. 30 thru Oct. 7th!.....DD dropped over last night and the first words out of her mouth were "Is it two months, one week and one day to go?":goodvibes Not like we're counting down or anything...:rotfl:

Updated once again. Also, for anyone that is considering watching the Shuttle landing, it looks like the mission in October has been extended two more days, which would make it come in for a landing on Friday, November 2nd, instead of on Halloween. Maggie

Going 10/22/07 to 10/27/07. Staying at POP. Just the 2 of us, me and hubby.
Trying to plan this out so we can make the most of our time. Have dinner all set.
Add us to your list and any suggestions about what to do when would be great.
I am doing all the planning. We are not crazy about fast, scary rides, so we won't being doing those.

We (mom and I) will be there from October 25 until November 1, at a value resort (still haven't decided which one), and going to MNSSHP, but haven't decided on what day. Actually, we still ahve to book the whole she-bang, lol!

Tonight, I'll first make reservations for the flights, then for the cruise and then for WDW.

I hope that everyone who will then be at WDW will wear something lime green. I have already: lime green Lacoste sun hat (that one is hard to miss, really), lime green bow on my bag, lime green socks (mom had to "import" them from Germany, no lime green socks in Belgium, lol!), lime green shirt, ...

For what it is worth, Pop Century is IMHO the best Value Resort available. Given its age (the newest of the Values) and location separate from the other Value Resorts which helps if you are relying on the WDW transportation system, POP offers conveniences that the All-Stars can not. The 70's building at POP offers views of the Hourglass Lake which is nice.

Best of luck with the planning.

(O/T NOTE: now recalling many fond memories of Belgium; what a nice country!)
