I think tonight will be the pizza meatloaf muffins and some sort of veggie!

Today we are having beef and bean chimichangas baked in red sauce and covered in cheese. :sunny:

Tonight will be Martha Stewart's beef stew, a big salad and crescent rolls!! YUM YUM!

No cooking for me tonite! DH thinks he is working late so DD and I are heading to the Big E to explore the better living center. Lots of fair food I have not had this year.

BTW, the Derby pie was awesome! I had a bar of semisweet baking chocolate in the freezer so I chopped it into chunks instead of using the chips.

I wish we had some leftover Italian Crockpot Chicken! It was so yummy! Tonight I'm making Hamburger Vegetable soup (it's a new recipe, so I'll let y'all know how it turns out), and for me: leftover baked chicken reuben! I'm so happy!!!! That's been one of my favorite things from this list!!!!

I have Glynis' Pot Roast in the crockpot for dinner. It seems like a lot of seasoning. :confused3 Does the gravy have a really strong flavor?

So, neither of us felt like sandwiches, so we tivoed Dancing with the Stars, and I made pasta carbonara and garlic bread.

Tonight we are having grilled chicken in the beer-butter marinade I posted a while back, a salad with olives, peaches, and manchengo cheese, and more of the corn I picked up the other day.

I thought the same thing, as it cooked. But when it's done it's not strong, it's YUMMO!!

As stated in one of my last emails, it is an east night for me...DFi is away on business and DS8 wants Mickie D's...who am I to say no??? :) No cooking, no mess in the kitchen...

I will post my Sausage Shells and Peas recipe after I make it...I usually eye ball the quantities of the ingredients, but I will measure this time... :)

Have a great day everyone!
Lauren

No, it came out perfect. I think cause the meat puts out its own juices and then the beef broth comes out tasting like a great gravy.

Great gravy. :scratchin

Is that anything like Rachael Ray's "oh, good gravy" ? :lmao:

It's a Kraft recipe. I found it to be very rich and more of a sidedish rather than a main dish, but it is very good nonetheless. And it's not very pumpkiny at all. It's very much an undertone to the cheesiness/creaminess. (Am I just making up words here?? :rotfl: )

1 pkg. (16 oz.) penne pasta, uncooked
1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, cubed
1/2 cup KRAFT 100% Grated Parmesan Cheese
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine
1/2 cup milk
1 cup canned pumpkin
1/2 tsp. ground red pepper
Ground nutmeg to taste

COOK pasta as directed on package.
MEANWHILE, place cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, butter and milk in large saucepan; cook on low heat until cream cheese is melted, stirring frequently. Add pumpkin and spices; cook until heated through, stirring occasionally.
ADD pasta; toss lightly. Serve topped with additional Parmesan cheese, if desired.

Thanks so much!!! I can't wait to try this!

I went for a comfort meal today: fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, and green beans.

We had orange cranberry glazed chicken, brown rice pilaf and salad. DH doesnt like rice so he had potato salad instead.

I think tomorrow will be a small pork roast, mashed potatoes and roasted asparagus.

Then I'm off to the beach for a girls only weekend! woohoo!! :cool1:

I am making a nice crockpot chicken noodle soup today. I just wish it was snowing outside. LOL!!! It would make the soup even more awesome!! :)

WFD at your house?

Oh this looks so good! I'm looking for some pasta sides as an alternative to mashed potatoes. This one should go well with pork and turkey.
I don't know what I am having for a main dish tonight, but I am serving it with your pasta dish :thumbsup2 .
