:sunny: I'm working tonight so I'll be having a Lean Cuisine. The kids will be at Grandmas so they'll probably have mac & cheese or McDonalds or something. My husband is going out with some friends, so he'll probably have beer. ;)

We are going camping and I don't feel good. I just went out and picked up Chinese and we will microwave it in the camper for dinner :teeth: That's "roughing it" isn't it?

Tonight I'm fixing hamburgers, baked beans, cottage cheese and fruit.

I made the meatloaf from the Kraft booklet last night. I wasn't home to eat with them, but my husband said the kids loved it. They both had seconds. DH said it was o.k. The cheesecake sounds yummy. I have a similar recipe for an apple cheesecake made in a springform pan, but this one sounds much easier. :thumbsup2

I'm glad to hear the meatloaf turned out well! It sounded different with the stuffing and bbq sauce. I was surprised there were no onions! Is that the one you made? If it is, I'll give it a try! Especially if the kids will like it.

I'm all for easy & tasty dishes! So little time.

ETA- Mermaid02, hope you feel better! :wizard:

Semi Homemade cooking with Lulu tonight :)

A boboli pizza crust with fresh mozzarella and the last tomatoes from the garden with some garlic and basil baked until bubbly. And a salad with that new "salad spritzer" spray dressing - actually pretty good! :)

Thanks for the freezing tip Lindsay, I am probably going to make a soup and a chili this weekend to freeze. Maybe something else, too if I have time.

Same thing I've been having every Friday for over 35 years - PIZZA!

I've been sooooooooo busy at work (4th grade teacher), supper was candy and junk from the vending machine in the teacher's lounge!!! I wish I had the time to make a good meal!

Today we are going to the Macaroni Grill for lunch. I am hoping to have leftovers from there for dinner. Man, I love that place!!

WFD at your house??

ETA: Has anyone gotten this quarter's Kraft Food and Family (or whatever it's called) magazine? There are a TON of good looking recipes in there I am eager to try. One of the big ones is Oreo truffles! :)

Last night ended up being an "out for pizza"night, so I really have to make something with that ground turkey tonight. Probably burgers on the grill! :sunny:

On a recent thread I was talking about how healthy I am for a woman with AIDS,So it seems almost like a divine smackdown(which I don't believe in) that I would come down with a nasty cold that I am on day 8 of... I'm going to make a big batch of Jewish Penicillan

Sorry you're not feeling well! :wizard: :wizard: There's some pixie dust to make that cold go away!

I lost my menu for the rest of this week, so I'm not sure what WAS on the plan for tonight. So, instead, the kids will have to deal with taco salad. I'm going to try the recipe in the Kraft magazine, and make cups out of flour tortillas for the salads. Hopefully, the kids will find it fun!

Well since I pulled a muscle in my back this morning, it'll have to be pizza or chinese take-out tonight!

Hope you feel better, Jenny! Hey, what's in that Jewish Penicillan you mentioned?

Matzoh Ball Soup(chicken soup)

Last night we got home from work late, so we just made burgers (beef for DH, veggie for me).

Tonight I am trying a new recipe--I don't know if it is going to work. It's a marinade of beer, butter, red pepper flakes, garlic, rosemary, salt, sugar and pepper. The recipe called for chicken thighs but all I had was turkey breast, so I cut it into medallions and it is marinating. I am going to try and grill it over low heat...we'll see.

For other stuff, I am making a penne alfredo, green beans with almonds, sliced tomatoes, and corn on the cob. So, even if the grilled turkey stinks we will have plenty to eat. I'll let you all know tomorrow how it turned out.

Speaking of tomorrow, dinner is going to be an adventure, as we are planning on procuring and grilling bluefish for the first time. I have held a grudge against bluefish since the time I was a kid and a particularly feisty blue dragged my fishing Dad off a jetty in Rhode Island, right in front of me! The injuries he sustained ended up leading to knee surgery! If anyone has any marinades or sauces for bluefish that they'd recommend, let me know.

I'm making Portuguese grilled chicken thighs, noodles, and corn.

I was planning on making lasagna tonight, but I worked a 12 hour shift & I'm beat. So I made sloppy joes & we had chips & pickles with it.

And I need to make something for a potluck for work tomorrow. It's a brunch themed potluck & I can't think of anything.
