Chicken and Matzo Ball Soup tonight. I just picked up a big container from the deli and I'm adding a leftover diced breast of chicken to it and heating it up before I go to work tonight- and maybe some fresh dill. :thumbsup2

As of right now, I am planning to make barbecued babyback ribs, macaroni and cheese and spinach. I reserve the right to change my mind when it's time to cook though.

My inlaws were out of town on my birthday so they're hosting a birthday dinner for me tonight. From what I've been told and requested we're having ribs, squash, salad, green beans or broccoli, bread and turtle pie or rum cake for dessert.

Afterwards I'm going to have DH roll me out to the car and drive me home :lmao:

We are having leftover chicken noodle soup tonight. Oh boy, it was SOOO good :) Talk about yor comfort food, not to mention it is SO easy to make :)

WFD at your house?

Homemade pizza- there's a recipe in my Weight Watchers cookbook. I'm putting baby bella mushrooms and fresh basil and maybe roasted red peppers on top as my veggies.

:goodvibes

It's really hot here today, so I think we are grilling. Right now the menu is grilled chicken with mango salsa, grilled asparagus, fresh tomato-mozzarella-basil salad, and crusty bread.

Well, my aunt came over to help us paint yesterday and brought a big pot of sloppy joes so I didn't end up cooking at all. :thumbsup2 So, today's dinner will be what I had planned for yesterday ~ Baked Round Steak in BBQ sauce ( http://maindish.allrecipes.com/az/84014.asp ) and I'll make some baked potatoes and a cucumber salad to go with it.

There is a woman on the local channel here who owns a farm and makes homemade pie fillings. She just showed a recipe that sounds so good! I think I might make it for dinner.

She took a baking dish and put a layer of apple pie filling in the bottom (her homemade), then boneless pork chops on top of that and a layer of stuffing on top.

Maybe it is because I haven't had breakfast yet but that looked so good. My DH would hate it though as he doesn't like sweet mixed with savory.

The grilled chicken with mango salsa reminds me of that commercial with the cavemen. :rotfl: I just love that commercial. :joker:

Tonight I made beef stir-fry, white rice, and egg rolls.

I do not know this commercial. What's it for?

I think it is for Geico. They say that the website is so easy to use a caveman could do it. Then they show really sophisticated cavemen who are offended by the commercial. So the next commercial shows the guy taking them to a nice restaurant to apologize and one caveman orders roast duck with mango salsa and the other says he doesn't have much of an appetite.

It is so stupid but it cracks me up everytime.

Morning! We had awful weather here overnight and I'm just thankful our house is still in one piece :p

My sweet husband and I are going on a date today :) We are going to the Olive Garden and to see Pirates. We are so excited! We are going to do soup, salad, and breadsticks and get dessert. Ahhhhhhh, what a day!!

WFD at your house?

I always go into Olive Garden saying I'm getting something new, but I always end up with the soup and salad! Enjoy!

We are going to a family reunion tonight so we will be having pot luck! I am taking baked beans, cheese ball and a strawberry dessert.

Check your PMs :)

I usually get the same thing everywhere. At the OG it's the mushroom stuffed ravioli. But we love their chocolate lasagna and it's sooo rich, you really need to eat light if you plan on getting it :)

I'm grilling today.

I have a turkey london broil marinating right now -in a mix of orange marmalade, cranberry juice, Italian dressing and spices (onion, garlic, basil, cayenne pepper) I will be grilling it later. I just have to think of something to go with it. Maybe I will grill some zucchini. If I have time to run to the store I can get some sweet corn to make with it. If not, I'll probably make some rice.

I must be hungry, because I want to try this also.

Last night DH and I had leftovers from the week. I did not cook much, but i always have a lot of food in the fridge and I hate to waste it.
Tonite we are joining my DGD at the firemans parade (DD takes her to all of the fireworks and fireman parade in the area. SHe loves them.) and carnival. I hate them, but we can't refuse her so I guess it will be a burger at the fair grounds. Along with cotton candy, popcorn soda, fries, fried dough, an anything else my DH and little Princess see.
