Liamsaunt, what have they got against crockpot food?
LindsayDunn228 said:I should have clarified. I am filling mini-muffin cups up with a dollup of the chocolate cashews. Make sense? Like a mini-Reese cup.
liamsaunt said:Yum, chicken kiev! HOWEVER, I forgot to mention that in addition to my in-laws' restrictions, my brother in law will also be in attendance, and he only eats low fat foods!! AAAAHHHH!!!!! You see, he's a bodybuilder. Hmm...maybe I should just make him a protein shake.
So, to recap: low fat, low salt, no pork, no nuts, no spicy foods, no crock pot recipes, no garlic, no onions, no vegetarian, no strong cheeses, white meat poultry only (on the bone is OK), or haddock/cod. Finally, turkey dinner and anything related to that is definitely out, since my MIL is serving that to us Christmas weekend, and I don't want to replicate her menu--she'd be insulted.
I am SO doomed.![]()

liamsaunt said:Nothing. It's just that I don't own one, that's why I said no crockpot recipes.

Still no inspiration on the in-laws thing. I will be sure and let you know what I end up making. Thanks for the suggestions so far, they are all in the consideration file.
