Still trying to decide about tomorrow night. But Kathy's cajun pork tenderloin sounds really good. Is that recipe here?

I don't think it's posted, here ya go:

CAJUN PORK TENDERLOIN WITH GARLIC BUTTER

I normally grill the pork, but you can sear it in a skillet and finish off in the oven too!

Dry rub:
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
4 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. garlic powder

2 pork tenderloins
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp garlic powder

In a small bowl combine dry rub ingredients. Rub thoroughly into the pork and let sit for 30 minutes. Grill or pan sear/oven finish until done - 170 degrees internal temp. Melt butter and stir in garlic powder. (I usually double the sauce). Slice tenderloin on the bias and pour garlic butter over. ENJOY

I think I am making pizza tonight. I have all of the ingredients and it is too cold to go to the store.

Sausage and onion and pepper sandwiches! Mmmmm nothing else, just that. The kids are having mac and cheese and nuggets and corn.

Yum. That sounds wonderful. I think that will be Sunday's dinner. Thanks.

Change of plans last night. I made Boo's smoky chicken patties with fries instead of the Ritz Parm chicken. Tonight we are going out to eat with my dad at a local place called Witherspoon's. They have awesome hot sandwiches there.

WFD at your house?

Dinner today will be Salisbury Steaks with mashed potatoes and green beans. I'm thinking I'll make some homemade cupcakes for dessert. :)

Tonight will be sirloin steaks with a mushrom/wine gravy, egg noodles and parmesan/lemon broccoli. Have a great day everyone.

liamsaunt - DH is still talking about the thai chicken curry!:thumbsup2

Tonight will be steamed snow crab legs (my youngest daughter's favorite) and corn on the cob.

Tonight will be Moo Shu Pork Pockets, a recipe I found in a Rachel Ray book, I prepared some of it ahead of time so when I get home from work it will be even quicker than 30 minutes! (I hope!)

I'll let you know how it is, and maybe post the recipe tonight.

I think you already use Kraftsfoodsonline, but there are some cute sweet items there this month. I did not look for meal items yet, but the treats look like treats you make for your little ones.

edited because I cannot insert a link correctly today. Try kraftfoods.com

Ooo, thanks, Nancy! I had forgotten about kraft foods. I'll be spending some time there today!!! So far, we're having a pink breakfast; heart shaped pink pancakes with strawberries, and strawberry syrup, berry smoothies and strawberry milk. Lunch is still up in the air, and so is dinner. So, I'm off to find some ideas!

Dinner tonight will be skillet lasagna. It's a lot faster than regular lasagna, so I'm hoping it will be good. One of my kids teachers had to cancel PTC last night, so we rescheduled for tonight. Hopefully it will all go well! DS's was last night, and it was a good one! He's in first grade reading on a 3rd grade level! Yay, son!!!

Hi All!

Glynis, I have a recipe for strawberry soup if you are interested...we serve it as a dessert.

Last night's braised pork chops were a hit! DF said it was the best thing I ever made...he said that the night before too when I made the apricot chicken. :)

We are celebrating our 3 year (dating) anniversary today so we are having chinese take out...yeah!

I'm not happy with my dinner plans, but I don't feel like going to the store today. We're having spaghetti and meatballs with salad and mozzarella garlic rolls. I wanted to have something very low in fat and calories. My mom just called and wants us to go pick up our dresses (DB's wedding) tomorrow. I was hoping to lose a little more weight before my last fitting. Guess I'll just make the rolls for DH and DS and only eat a little pasta.

We're also going to visit my aunt in the hospital. She was hit by a car yesterday. Not really sure of all the details, but she had surgery last night.

liamsaunt - I did the curry tonight as the family seemed to get over the bug very fast and they wanted it - it is INCREDIBLE and so quick!! We'll definitely be having this one again.:thumbsup2

I loved the Thai Curry, too!!

TigerKat, I didn't have all the ingredients to make your shrimp dishes, so I just made my old stand-by of Shrimply Delicious Rice. But your recipes sound so good - I can't wait to try them.

I will be sure to keep your aunt and family in my Prayers.

Happy anniversary! I can't think of a better way to celebrate than with Chinese take out. It is one of my favorites but we seldom indulge. Believe it or not, last Valentines Day my DH ordered it as our celebration! He does not like it and I love it so it was definitely a sacrifice o his part and a treat for me.

Also, I must be having search issues because I cannot find the recipe for apricot chicken that you all are talking about. Would you mind pointing me in the right direction?

Oh, you make me feel guilty! I want to plan a valentine meal for my DGD but I don't think I would manage 3 meals! I'm going to watch what you make, I diod not see too many dinners that were family oriented, a lot of couple meals though.

I also have Strawberry Soup, probably like FmrCastMbr's. It is from 1900 Park Fare and I bet it is the same one that was served at the Contemporary before it was CG.

We are having leftover spaghetti Stoup and a salad tonite.

I'm having the same issues - and I would love this recipe for tonight! I used to make this all the time for DH, and it was soo good....but I can't find it now.

I'm glad you guys liked the chicken curry!

Zandy, sorry about your aunt. I hope she is OK.

So, we did not have pizza last night. We got home from work, opened the door, and smelled gas! Argh! So, speaking of argh, guess what I did? I ran over and TURNED THE OVEN ON! Yeah, that was dumb. :headache: I then noticed that my kitchen window was open, so went next door to find out what was going on (we live next door to my parents). My Mom told me that she had come over a few hours ago to borrow an egg, and smelled the gas. She realized that one of our oven burners was on, just enough to let gas out, but not enough to ignite. So, she turned it off and opened the window for us. I must have bumped into the burner knob and jostled it from the "off" setting while rushing around the kitchen before work. Pretty dumb, huh? Yep, it was indeed.

So we ended up opening all of the windows and doors to get the smell out. Did I mention that it was about 5 degrees here last night? After all of that, I was afraid to turn the oven on, so no pizza. Instead, we got out my electric griddle and made mini quesadillas—black bean and cheese, black bean, cheese, and bacon, and black bean and the leftover grilled tuna. With salsa, they were pretty good, but not as good as my pizza would have been. :guilty:

Tonight we are ordering Indian food, I think.

Mookie, at least you are willing to cook if you have the recipe. I gave up and now my family is getting leftovers :confused3.

Liamsaunt, that must have been scary. I willsay that I like pizza, but your quesadillas are making me hungry!
