"The Official 'True Blood' Vampire Thread" ...spoilers included.

With each new episode, I notice someone different too. Poor Office Space man!

And I finally figured out that Amy was Lindsey Lohan's friend from Mean Girls. That one took me the longest because she looked and sounded so different.

And on a side note, I had a problem with Bill being so dirty and him and Sookie going at it. He could have at least taken a speed shower and been back in about 5 seconds!

Amy (bad one) is also from that short lived series "The Class" starring Jason Ritter (John's son.) I loved her character in that, but not in True Blood.

In the book, one reason they got so down and dirty in the dirt was because he came out of the ground very hungry and Sookie felt she needed to feed one of his needs and preferably not the one that left her dead.

I think his hair went with his soldier look from back when he was still alive. I noticed when he showed up in the bar that first time, he had on a jacket that had hints of a military look. I think he's still trying to mainstream & fit in.

Can vampires still grow hair? :scratchin

I've wondered that myself. Eric's hair is surely reminiscent of a viking, as is Longshadow's of an American Indian or a pirate. I kind of figured that the hairstyle you died with was the hairstyle you kept while you're undead.

Anyone else notice the music being played in the background while Eric was bathing? I am not 100% certain but I am pretty sure that it was the Mediaeval Baebes..I tried to look it up but couldn't find confirmation...But it sounded to me like Mediaeval Baebes..Anyone know for sure? :confused3

Bill made a comment either on the show or in the book that how their hair is when they die is how it is forever and wasn't she glad he didn't have a beard. Or something like that. I'm sure you can change the style, but if were unfortunate enough to have a mullet, you are stuck with that cut for life.

He said that it was music from his youth. Since he's 1000 years old, is that when that would have been composed? Would vikings have known that piece?

Hey Metal- I Googled Mediaeval Baebes- very interesting sound- I like it!

I would say since their sound is "medieval" it could certainly be from his past!

RUDisney- this is what it says about them in Wiki-

They sing in a variety of languages, including Latin, Middle English, French, Italian, Russian, Swedish, Cadenet, Scottish English, German, Manx Gaelic, Spanish, Welsh, Bavarian, Provençal, Irish Gaelic, modern English and the nearly extinct Cornish. Their vocals are backed by medieval instruments, including the recorder and cittern, played by the singers or fellow musicians.

Take a listen on YouTube.

Wow, just stumbled in here. Got hooked on True Blood once I saw Bill get attacked that first time (think it was a repeat of the premiere). Great show. Sundays for us are full now in between this and Dexter and Californication.

So which Amy would you like to be? We've dubbed the one on the show Bad Amy, NMAmy was named Good Amy, and now we have another Amy.

Good thing for DVR's, huh?

How about AMBIVALENT Amy?

We have a DVR, but what we do is watch Dexter at 8, then watch True Blood right before bed when it repeats on HBO at 11. Makes for some interesting dreams! :)

I'd much rather have True Blood dreams than Dexter dreams. :scared1:

Oh no, trying to imagine that! LOL!

Who else (okay maybe just me) was laughing at Bill interacting with Arlene's kids? Gave me some insight to what kind of Dad he must have been back when he was mortal.

I thought it was cute. I wonder if they'll ever get into his bloodline? His kids had to have a family.

Possible Spoiler...

Highlight to read (nice thinking NMAmy!)

I read on the True Blood forums that Detective Andy is a descendent of Bill. Because his last name and the married name of Bill's daughter are one and the same. Now, I have not read the books, but I am going to B&N today to get the first in the series.

The person who posted that had read the books though.
