I bought the series of books to tide me over until they start True Blood up again in the summer (ack!!)

I, too, thought it was Lafayette in the back of the car (and I'm hoping he's not dead) and that the young teen vamp was the one who fed off of him.

Now, here Bill has to babysit the teen vamp -- that's going to put a big crimp in his love life!

I'm not digging the manaed story line, but hopefully it'll grow on me.

And, had to laugh at Renny (Rene?) creeping out at Sam being a shape-shifter when he, himself, was a mass murderer.

I did crack up when I saw Rene's copy of "Learn the Cajun Dialect" in the box of videos--especially after listening to everyone complain about his accent here.

I thought when Arlene was talking to Sookie about Rene's fake Cajun accent, she should have added, AND IT WAS NOT EVEN A GOOD ONE! That would have been a funny line.

That's a blink of an eye for an HBO show. I'm thrilled! I thought we'd have one of their famous 18 month waits. As for Big Love, it's been about that long, hasn't it? I don't think we've seen it since spring of 07.

I can't even remember when Big Love ended- but I did see it is coming back in January!!!!

And LAFAYETTE?! WHY!? He was my favorite character on the show.

Terri IS adorable and so sweet! Did someone mention something about him a few pages back- about him being a werewolf?? (I made it white just in case!!!! )

I LUV Lafayette- he was so entertaining! If that is him, can I at least hope he comes back as a vampire?? ....probably not, huh?

Now Jason and Sookie will be on opposing sides! Hmmmm, I wonder if Jason will be out for blood since he is being brainwashed? Out for Bill's blood!!!! Do you think that minister came to jail for Jason b/c he knew Sookie was dating a vampire and he felt like now the "church" will have an "in" to some of the vampires ???

I forgot to ask this- Did anyone notice when Bill showed up at Sookies door after she thought he was dead- when he was speaking, he kind of rolled his words, like the real dracula? I never heard him do that before.

Did anyone notice that?

Unfortunately, the wine itself is pretty horrible. I had tried it several years agoa dn it was just about undrinkable. But the label is cool.

I watched it again and had to shut my DH and DS up when it got to that scene. I had to explain that I was doing research for Maddhatir.

It sounded like Bill's fake southern drawl and not Bela Lagosi-ish. Sorry to disappoint. I was hoping to hear a Transylvanian Bill.

When I saw the Cajun Dialect tape, I thought, Oh good, maybe the real actor isn't so bad with accents after all. He KNEW he was bad.

But now, maddhatir, you got me thinking, maybe even the producers thought he was sooo bad, that they threw that tape in the finale as a joke.

I liked how Rene died in the show. I thought that was pretty cool, especially after he'd been kicking a dog.

I was really surprised when Sookie said Sam saved her. I know he came in & tackled Rene or she would have been strangled, but in the end, it was a kind of duo effort.

It's pinot noir... my absolute least favorite wine. I've tried to like it. I just don't. I'm glad I don't feel like I'm missing anything.

Now, if they made Vampire wine in a cabernet... I'd be all over tasting it.
